Once again Satinpaw found herself slowing down. Only this time stopping to see if Bloodyrondo was actually following her. She wished she didn't care as much as she did sometimes but, she couldn't stop herself from hoping that her future mate would be strong enough to resist her sisters. Her ears perked up when she heard him calling after her again. A sly grin spread over her face when he came into view. "Come on slow poke! Are you even trying?" She taunted picking up her stride again to put some more distance between them.
Nikkohydrangea looked up, at Shadowbard and immediately looked away, a deep blushing forming across his muzzle as he stood up straighter. He tilted his head anxiously to the side with vague embarrassment, "I didn't know you were watching me," Nikkohydrangea said softly before rubbing the back of his own head, "I didn't think you actually care-"
Nikkohydrangea shoved Shadowbard over hard and raced off faster than a shooting star whipping past spiky stones and even bouncing off the occasional tree to gain momentum in his speed, "Wow, I can't believe this is how SunClan cats get married for life. Yes, kids, after I shoved your father into a rock by mistake he tackled me down and beat me with that rock until I agreed to marry him. Someday, hopefully someone will beat you as passionately with a rock as your father did." For running at the speed he was at, it was a miracle he wasn't breathless by most cat standards. But as he discovered in SunClan, turns out he was super fast. There was no heavy weight of snow clinging to his paws or the powdery snow slowing him down. He never knew he was an above average runner, but good thing he knew now. Too bad Shadowbard was going to miserably lose, it would have been fun to get married and then go through a violent divorce resulting in himself accidentally winning the kids. Boy what an adventure that could have been. Then again, he was this confident last time and lost to Shadowbard at that boat race.
"I'd be there already if you hadn't set any traps, you cheater!" Bloodyrondo laughed as he caught sight of Satinpaw. There was a slight incline here: If he was at the peak, she was at the valley. He took a deep breath then charged down the slight hill with no restraint. The ginger tom was going way faster now that he had when he ran into Silverpaw, but he was a lot more controlled, almost like he was learning how to control his own pawsteps. He was gaining on her, that was for sure, but would he get to her before she reached camp?
racer Divinepaw's heart sank as Bloodyrondo gave chase after the she-cats. He had chosen someone and it wasnt her...Holding back tears, she had to remove herself from the game. It was a mistake to sit and watch. She should have stayed in camp. She shot off quickly, spraying up dirt in her wake. She had to get away from here. She wasnt sure where she was going, she just knew she had to get away. Her vision blurred with the beginning of tears as she attempted to avoid seeing Bloodyrondo with any of the lucky she-cats.
"I didn't set any traps!" she chuckled, her pace slowing to a fast walk as she watched the tom as the top of the incline. As much as she wanted him to chase her, she still wanted to be caught. She glanced to the direction of their camp, she wasn't too far off but her end goal was never to reach the camp. She turned around so that she was facing Bloodyrondo as he ran to meet her. very slowly she started to back away in the direction she had been running but her being caught was inevitable at this point.
Bloodyrondo noticed that Satinpaw slowed down, so he sped up. Letting out another ferocious yowl, the ginger tom kicked off against the ground behind him and went totally airborne. He tucked in his front paws and let the wind resistance force directly him into a roll. The result was a perfect front-flip right over the girl of his dreams, easy 10/10 good job. Bloodyrondo landed on all four paws with Satinpaw's tail against his lips. He waited for her to glance back at him before he lunged, making quick work of pinning the smaller she-cat down and touching his nose to hers. He was panting heavily but also purring up a storm, "So, what do you say, Satinpaw? Wanna be my mate?" He was grinning like a fool.
The snowy and gray she cat couldn't help the laugh that escaped her as the promised stuck the landing. Impressive, also silly. As soon as she glanced back at him, and found herself pinned before she could get a word out. The sound of his purring drowned out all other sounds, once again they found themselves in a moment. Just the two of them as it should be. She lifted her head to touch her nose to his in return. "Yes, yes of course you silly furball" she purred. She made no attempts to push the larger cat off her, not that she could anyway. Instead she brushed her muzzle against his and ran her tongue over his cheek.

Burningpaw watched as the she-cats took off. Even with the group charging out in front of him, he had no idea who he was supposed to choose. If anyone. Maybe Moonlit was right. Course, he also got tackled instead of doing it himself, so he wasn't sure. A familiar voice behind him made his ears pin back. Foxbane was there, and the orange tom did all he could to not meet her gaze. With the loud voices, he couldn't hear what she said, but he heard Tinypaw's name. And just like that, three toms charged past him as the tom's were released. His heart jumped into his throat, and he sprinted off after them. Just what was his mother's gain? Burningpaw wasn't sure, but he was given a new mission for this. Stop whatever it was. For now, it was better than chasing after a mate with his heart in knots as it was. Honeystormracer
Jetclaw glared down at Moonlitnocturne. "Did you really think after all these times of you crashing into me at every interval of this festival you could get away with acting in such a disgraceful manner?!" Huffing she got up but rather than simply let him up seized him by the scruff to drag him away. She didn't know where she was going to take him but it felt like at this moment she was going to deal with this rather than simply ignore it as she had before.
To everyone else, they would see Jetclaw pin Moonlitnocturne, and then get off him and then grab him by the scruff to drag him off somewhere.
"Well... that's one way to do it," Skipstep muttered, then his eyes narrowed. "Wait what about Satinpaw?!" He cried realizing he'd distantly heard mention his daughter had run off, but had been too absorbed in his sisters madness to notice until then.

Shadowbard
SunClan Warrior
The Soulful
Shadowbard smirk soon faded, as he was suddenly pushed away and his prey took off running. "HEY!" he called after him, rising to to his paws and giving chase. He stayed hot on Nikkohydrangea's heels but the gap was widening. "I wasn't going to use a rock..." his mind spun trying to think of a way to stop him from getting away "But I suppose despertat times call for desperate measures" having a renewed energy he surged forward guiding the tom where he wanted him, the sunning stone. The broken ground would take away the other cat's advantage, making it near impossible to run at full speed without injury Faith

Littlestar
SunClan High Priestess
The Peace Keeper
Littlestar's eyes widened gazing out to where the other cats had disappeared "Go deal with your sister, I'll go after our daughter" she commented to Skipstep, before racing off into the forest herself. What was Bloodyrondo thinking? That brat... How DARE he take advantage of her absence to make a move on HER daughter. At the very least he should have been honest and upfront about his intentions... This would not stand, she would not allow it.
Her paws pounded against the ground, following their unmistakable scents and almost bowling Silverpaw over in the process. It wasn't hard to find them when Bloodyrondo was practically dripping with sweet scents. Seeing Satinpaw pinned, Littlestar grasped her scruff dragging her out from under her promised, fire burning in her gaze as she sat her daughter down a respectable distance away, placing herself in between the two "Absolutely not" she growled

Tinypaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Underestimated
Tinypaw managed to delay the three toms by running through the crowd just long enough to put a small amount of distance between herself and the toms that were hot on her heels. Whatever Foxstar had promised them, must have been good "You don't want me as a mate, I'll just make your life miserable" she called to them with a snarl, but their pace wasn't slowing. How was she supposed to find and save roble when she had to spend all her energy getting away from the three bafoons.Little did she know that help was on it's way.

Divinepaw
NightClan Apprentice
The Curious
Completely unaware of the ceremony or what was going on in SunClan, Divinepaw had decided to go out exploring once more. It was only chance that he happened to find himself in SunClan's forest when the sudden pounding of feet came rushing at him. Had he really been spotted so quickly? He crouched down, slipping behind of the trees as a herd of running cats went rushing past him. At least they hadn't seemed to notice him, but it was probably better that he get back home now.
His back legs bunched sending him flying forward towards the NightClan border. His ears were perked, but he was more focused on the crowd of cats that he just ran by him than what was in front of him, when he suddenly found himself entangled with another cat. Out of pure reaction, he swiftly moved into battle mood, twisting his body in order to pin the cat and lowering his muzzle to make a go at her throat as they tumbled through the undergrowth until he stood looking into her eyes nose pressed up against hers with snarl

Silverpaw
SunClan Apprentice
The Poised
Silverpaw had to jump backwards in order to avoid her mother bowling through the forest. An amused smile crept onto her face, knowing exactly were she was headed. Satinpaw and Bloodyrondo were really in for it now. Silverpaw began to humm, starting a leisurly pace back towards where her sister had went. After all the likely hood of any guys chasing her at this point were rather slim.

Unseenlights
SunClan Warrior
The Reserved
Unseenlights had been in such a hurry to make sure to give Duskslayer a hard time, that it was only as she neared camp that her heart began to sink. He wasn't coming... His scent was no where near, and she could only hear the giggles and yells of other cats in the distance. He paws began to slow to a stop... Had she ran to quickly? Or had he picked another she-cat as his mate. Maybe if she just waited here long enough he would show
Divinepaw was taken completely by surprise when the body of another cat slammed into her. She tensed up as she felt the tom turn the tumble into a battle move and pinned her to the ground. She hit the ground on her back and winced. When her mind cleared of what happened, she realized a strange white tom was standing over her with his nose to her's. Her eyes met his and she felt her heart flutter but couldnt understand why. He was staring at her threateningly and was an intruder. "Get off of me!" She grunted, pushing him back with a paw on his muzzle so she could get up. Once on her paws, she glared at him, her cheeks wet from tears. "What do you think your doing? Dont you know what you have done!?" Her fur began to bristle when she realized that their noses touched during a mate choosing ceremony. That was not okay.

Divinepaw
NightClan Apprentice
The Curious
As the she-cat stopped fighting, he gazed down into her eyes. They were a beautiful amber, the small flecks of green reflecting the forest around them. It was mesmerizing and it was only once she pushed him away that the small white tom scrambled backwards looking rather embarrassed "sooo sorry about that" he chuckled, not really understanding why she was upset "I didn't hurt you did I" he glanced over his shoulder but it seemed that crowd of cats that he had saw earlier will still busy with other things
"Look I don't know what you crazy SunClan cats are up to. I just came out here to go see the desert that I have been hearing rumors about, and suddenly like A THOUSAND SunClan cats came rushing past me" he dramatically placed his paw in the air to show how many cats had appeared "but none of them saw me" he added proudly "SOOOO I'll just be going home now" he turned, his little nub of a tail wiggling back and forth "See you later Darling"
"Well, of course my entire clan came running passed you like a herd of horses. Its the Mate Choosing Ceremony and you just participated!" She huffed as he was walking away.

"I don't know what you are talking about. You don't need a ceremony to pick a mate. That is crazy talk" he replied rolling his mismatched eyes "In NightClan we just pick our own mates whenever we want to, we can love whoever we want. But I guess things are different here" he blinked still not understanding what she was talking about. How had he participated? All he had done was run into her
"You bee-brain! We are bonded! We have to fix this!" She looked to the sky in fear. Would the Sun God be angry about this? "We have to go tell Littlestar and break the bond!"
