( Wonderful idea for an rp sponsored by Berry & Honey's Trashcan. xD strawberrycupidFaith )
Generally, the idea of being 'shackled' to someone was reserved for unfulfilling marriages. It wasn't meant to be taken literally.
But since when did that ever stop the League's leader and Sun's ex-Priestess?
And that was exactly how the three of them had ended up in this predicament. Or, rather, this Funk and Fox sponsored Valentine's day show of 'love' wherein both had asked Glow to be their Valentines, and subsequently taken out a pair of handcuffs, attaching one to their own wrist, and one to Glow's. So now Fox's left wrist was chained to Glow's right, and Funk's right to Glow's left. There was absolutely no way this little plan of theirs could go wrong, right? Because of course the Day gang leader just LOVED being stuck to them with no hope of escape. Especially since, at least on Fox's end, she'd intentionally jammed the lock to make it all the more difficult to get out of.
"Time for a Valentine's Day to remember." The redhead commented with a devious grin, slinging her fox backpack over her right shoulder once more.
Three minutes ago Glow had been fluffing up her wavy cinnamon auburn hair and placing in small LED light clips into her hair, so tinny they seamlessly blended in. She wanted her hair to resemble fireflies and did a pretty good job replicating it, after all she wasn’t Glow for nothing. She had on a dark wine red crimson dress with long lace sleeves and a deep curvy sweetheart neckline. Accompanying the outfit was a long white furred boa woven around her shoulders and arms. Of course with every good outfit came a good pair of short white fur trimmed heel boots. Mainly because she never seemed to simply wear high heels, they were always boots of some kind with a heel on them. Visibly were tiny flower crown tattoos covering her fingers like little colorful rings.
She hadn’t been dressing up for any occasion except that it was Valentines Day, but when she ventured into the indoor gardens of Day she had found Fox and Funk there and was glad she did dress up. For a brief moment Glow smiled, happy to see them, but that moment only lasted so long before they both asked to spend Valentines Day with her at the same time. She watched in silent panic as they both grabbed out handcuffs and laughed nervously stepping back, but it was far too late. No problem, no problem, she could get out of handcuffs if she could just move her left hand over to remove the right cuff. Glow visibly winced watching Fox jam her lock, "WHY!?"
Fox's grin was contagious and she grinned back, giving her hand a tight squeeze, "I'm terrified, but I love that!" Her eyes lit up, emerald bright with excitement when she smiled. But her right hand still slyly moved to the left cuff that wasn't yet jammed, of course that was hard to be sneaky when both could feel their wrists being pulled.

"Nuh, uh. Gotta be a good sport Glow. You're not getting out of this one." Fox immediately moved her left wrist, pulling the slowly snaking hand away from the other set of cuffs. For her own part, of course she'd dressed up. She wore a high waisted, matte black circle skirt that ended just above the knee, a large red bow on the back, with a form fitting shirt in white, the long lacy sleeves patterned with occasional red hearts that shone against the lighter material. Her shoes were in velvet scarlet, with a low heel and buckle at the ankle to keep it in place. This was going to be fun, she could feel it.
It was hard, honestly, to not get lost in the emerald eyes, but she forced herself to blink after a moment, head tilting with a knowing expression crossing her face. "No need to be too terrified, it's only Funk and I. What harm can we do?" Oh, there was a lot, and she knew it full well by the glint in her ivy eyes. If someone had to guess, Glow really should be a lot more worried. Then again, Glow wasn't just anyone. The chances of her getting back in one piece were higher than if she were simply some random gang member they'd happened to prey upon.

It was a bizarre idea the pair had. Unfortunately for Glow, the pair was good at coming up with schemes and tolerating the other so long as they met their ends. That was how 2 pairs of Funk's the League's handcuffs went missing and were now cuffing the 3 together. Well, he wasn't gonna jam it initially. Funk had the idea of letting the other relax, just so it'd be easier to get off later. But feeling Glow move to the left cuff to take it off, he was left with little choice. Lifting his hand up, he hastily jammed the lock to the other side as well. Even with the shocked look on Glow's face, he offered a lopsided smile. "Sorry, dear. But it's no fun if you back out now."
Funk had at least attempted to dress to match. Straightening out his fluffy auburn hair was pretty much impossible, so he decided on taming it as much as possible. Even if it still stuck out in places. Nothing fancy, he at least wore a light cologne that covered up the smell of formaldehyde. He wore a white button-up shirt under a mottled dark carmine tuxedo blazer. The patter was faint, but enough to at least make it look slightly more interesting than a plain blazer. It had black accents and he wore black slacks and oxford shoes to match. He didn't wear any jewelry, but he switched out his earrings for simple gold-colored ones. Black frames still adorned his face, square and sharp that he pushed up. His free hand kept fiddling with the wrapping of the bouquet of bright red roses and soft white baby's breath before realizing he should definitely give them to Glow. This was his area, after all. "For you, dear." He flourished them with a smile. She didn't need to know Fox's bouquet was sitting in a vase at her place.
Glow took the flowers in her left hand and looked between the two with glittery tearful eyes, "You guys," She said almost like she still couldn't believe this was happening. She blushed uncontrollably, her smile was shy like sunlight petering through clouds, "I can't believe you two worked together to do this. This is so nice, I can't really hug you both, but thank-you so much."
She pressed the flowers over her heart lovingly before dropping her hand again, "And you both look amazing too! I'm sorry, I'm-" She took a moment to gather her thoughts, "This is already one of the best moments in the whole year, I know it's early to call it, but I love you guys and you both look hot as hell and thank-you for asking me, but not really asking me and more telling me to be your Valentine. I don't know what that entails, but-" She lifted up both her handcuff wrists, "you've got me now so I'm excited to find out."
For the longest time she had an anxious fear in her heart that Fox and Funk would not get along, but seeing them both pair up to take her out made her heart soar. On a side note she had to wonder if Funk was left handed and she never noticed. Or if he was right handed and was just going to have a hard time not having his right hand entirely free.

Funk was ready for the kickback, the i can't believe you two!! sort of deal but in an angry way. But when Glow took the flowers and smiled at them shyly, he felt some weight roll off his shoulders. Maybe he should have kept his expectations low. He never really knew what either Fox or Glow was thinking, but at least it ended up positively. "Already one of the best moments and we haven't even left your porch yet? Big words. We'll have to keep the ball rolling, right Fox?" They weren't really rivals, though there always some tension between the two. Funk let it go for today. Fox had planned some of the night and he planned a little too.
