Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Welcome to the first of many camping threads for Fallclan <3 Just so we get into the flow of these threads, I'm going to be facilitating the events and such (plus I was the only one with newly-made warriors). Here is a schedule of events:
1. Morning 1 - Journey to camping grounds 2. Setting up camp - All
Calamitystar was a bit bummed he wasn't going on the camping trip, but he beamed with pride and excitement as he watched the new warriors and apprentices get ready, along with the veterans. You could feel the crackle in the air as they hurried about gathering necessities like herbs and such. "WOW you guys. You all are going to have SO MUCH FUN. WOW. Are you SUUUUURE I can't go, Hystericplague?" He whined to the medicine cat, giving him puppy-dog eyes as he did so.
Talonstrike let out a purr of amusement and continued setting the herbs Hystericplague and Amberpaw gave them into little leaf bundles. He could feel his paws tingling as he thought about the thrill of receiving his totem. His gaze drifted to Fjordstorm and then Caverncrystal, knowing they probably felt the same way.
Chaipaw danced in a little circle around her sister, buzzing with excitement from nose to tail-tip.
Cherrypaw was excited to get going. "Camping! Trip! Camping! Trip! Gonna! Have! Lots of! Fun!" she cheered, almost jabbing Chaipaw in the neck. "Gonna! Make! New! Friends! And maybe! Some! Rivals! Camping! Trip - oh crap, sorry Talonstrike," she said sheepishly, as she narrowly avoided hitting Chaipaw a second time before she jabbed the new warrior in the flank instead. "...I'll sit down now, maybe."
Citrinepaw appeared to be enjoying the situation much less than her sister was. "Um, I think I'm coming down with a fever," she said, trying to feign her best I-am-dying-of-greencough voice. To her diappointment, it just sounded like she was mildly thirsty, at most. "...Cough?"
Hystericplague sighed, having already heard Cal whining about not being able to go at least seven times already. "You need to stay at camp, not the camping trip. I'm only going because at least one of these babies is going to hurt themselves." And man, he put enough effort into healing some of them after the flood, he wasn't going to let them go and get themselves killed stupidly and put all of his herbs to waste. He was about to walk away to join Talonstrike by the herbs once more, but paused, sending Calamitystar a glare. "You better not get hurt while I'm gone, or so help me, I will hurt you myself."
While her sister danced around her, Pumpkinpaw was practically jumping in place with her excitement. Not only was this entire thing going to be so much fun, but she was going to get to try new foods! Did meat taste better when it was fresh? Ooh, she hoped so. Maybe she could find some cool mushrooms or something that tasted great.

Chaipaw's ears perked up happily as Cherrypaw scuttled around her, completely oblivious to the almost-jabbing. "YAY! Camping! Trip! Camping Trip! Fun! Fun! Fun!" She meowed along, joining in on the joy until she, too, ran smack dab into Talonstrike's leg.
The golden warrior let out a purr of amusement and placed both large paws on the apprentice's heads, steadying them. "Woah now, I think you two are more excited than the rest of us and we can't have that!" He teased, finding it a bit difficult to hold the two jittery cats in place.
"Awwww...." Calstar let out a sigh of disappointment, but the sad mood didn't last a split second before he was bouncing behind Pumpkinpaw and Citrinepaw. "So, Pumpkinpaw, Citrinepaw what are you two the most excited about?! Don't let ol Hystericplague scare ya. You'll be fine as long as you don't run into any scary monsters or wild beasts or crazy rogues with rabies or get lost in a cave and wilt away from hunger and thirst or... eat something weird like strange mushrooms, ya know?" He said all of this with the happiest face, it was almost scary.
With a shake of his head at the leader, Hystericplague returned to Talonstrike to make sure he wasn't going to mess up the herbs in some way.
At first, Pumpkinpaw was eager to share what she was most excited about, not even caring about all of the scary things that Calamitystar was listing, until he got to the last part about the mushrooms, and she deflated. "But... I want to eat the mushrooms," she whined, her orange ears now downward. It was as if all of her excitement was whisked away, and she was left to stand there looking at him as if he had just taken the very meaning of life away from her.
Soothingpaw couldn't hear the conversations the others were having, she was too far ahead of them and honestly had forgotten they were there at all as her golden yellow eyes darted back and forth at all the new sights around her. She was still in view of the group, her bright white pelt making her hard to lose even at a distance. "This is so cool! I wonder if we will see any rogues." Her voice was almost hopeful, she had never seen a rogue before and from what she had heard they lived by their own rules.
Tatteredraven was walking along side Talonstrike, her eyes glowing as she recalled her first camping trip, now she joined to help the newly promoted and to make sure no one got lost or into trouble. She let out a purr and laughed as the new apprentices excitement flowed from them like gusts of wind.
Citrinepaw had opened her mouth to tell Calamitystar that she was most excited just to get back to camp, thank you very much sir when she heard Soothingpaw speak up. "Wait, rogues?!" she stammered, looking around wildly. "No one told me there was going to be rogues!" She'd rather eat the weird mushrooms than run into rogues.
Cherrypaw noticed Pumpkinpaw deflating somewhat. "Don't worry, Pumpkinpaw," she said, "I'm sure there's more than one kind of mushroom out there, and they can't all be poisonous! Maybe." Actually, she did have a sort-of hunch that cats weren't really meant to eat mushrooms at all, but Pumpkinpaw was usually so peppy, and seeing the other she-cat so down felt wrong, somehow.

Calamitystar gave a goofy, tongue-out and wink kind of face to Citrinepaw before beginning to bound away. He waved his tail in farewell to them as he pranced away. "Have fun, you lot!"
Talonstrike fought hard not to roll his eyes at the leader before giving a sympathetic glance at Citrinepaw. "Don't worry, we didn't see any rogues our first trip. Tatteredraven could probably say the same." He reassured her and Caverncrystal gave a nod of agreement. "We did see plenty of edible mushrooms though." The mottled brown tom meowed, turning to Pumpkinpaw with a humorous twitch of his whiskers.
"Blah blah blah, are you all going to keep talking all day." Fjordstorm sighed. "Let's goooo."
With Citrinepaw and Talonstrike's soothing words, life seemed to return to Pumpkinpaw's eyes as she bounced along next to them. "Aaaah! I'm so excited!" she screeched, as if she had been holding back before. "Rogues and mushrooms? This is starting to sound great!" For just a moment, she hesitated, remembering that rogues were supposed to be bad. But not all rogues were bad, right? "Maybe we'll run into a friendly rogue who will teach us the best way to eat rats," she thought aloud.

"Rats?" Chaipaw chimed in with a curious mew. She let out a series of giggled and tapped Pumpkinpaw on the nose with her tail-tip. "You eat the silliest things sometimes, sister." Her purr was light, almost an ethereal sound as she glanced over at her sister with a warm expression. Many would describe Chaipaw as nymph-like in personality.
For some reason, the tap seemed to stun Pumpkinpaw for a few moments, as she just stood there blinking. Then, she tilted her head to her sister, confusion written in her features. "Strange? I thought rats were normal to eat! Aren't they?" At this, she turned to look at the other apprentices, to judge whether or not it was normal to eat rats. "We eat mice all the time, rats are basically the same. It's not like frogs or something. I think fish is more strange than a rat!" She was rambling now, wasn't she? She should stop.

Chaipaw's eyes trailed the sky as she thought about Pumpkinpaw's words. "Well, I suppose you're right on that." She responded with a giggle. "Still, I would rather learn about all the different flowers and bugs they come across!"
Fjordstorm like out a snort of amusement and rolled her eyes. "You two better hope we don't run into rogues or you'd both be dinner."
Instead of getting intimidated or scared, Pumpkinpaw's eyes took on a glimmer as she turned to Fjordstorm. "When is dinner, anyway? I'm starving!" It didn't matter that she had secretly ate moments before joining everyone for the trip, as her endless void of a stomach was never really full.
