Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was probably surprising to no one that Senescence drank her coffee black. Particularly dark roasts that tended to be just as bitter as she was. Despite the complaints of the staff at the cafe, the League Proxy still planted her feet on top of the window-side table, leaning her chair back at a dangerous angle so that it touched the wall, her tall frame taking up much of the room at the front of the tiny shop, gracing all who walked past with a beautiful view of the soles of her black combat boots. The rest of her was colored similarly. Dark pants, a biker jacket, and a prim white tank underneath, even in this winter weather. The only two spots of color, other than her striking rusty hair, were an old necklace with a bloodstained stone pendant, which had once upon a time belonged to her niece, and perfectly pink polished nails with adorable little skull accents on each ring finger that Innocentia had managed to convince the Internal Affairs girl that she would look amazing with. Seriously, if there was anyone that could get Sen to do something she would usually balk at, it was her girlfriend.
Truly, she'd have brought Inno along if she could, but today she decided to respect the idea of a 'sibling day' with Lucistic, and wait here alone for him to show up. In the meantime, she lazily looked through the footage on her laptop. Unsurprisingly, she caught Zakiyyah sneaking around again, presumably up to something with Kotori, and though she didn't bother to check, she expected that if she looked, she'd find Funk hanging out with Glow. Last she heard, they'd started dating, so that was a pretty safe bet. She didn't particularly want to peek in and gag at the sight.
What was taking him so long? Lifting her right wrist, she gently stretched it to reveal the watch she'd gotten over the holidays, and promptly dismantled and reassembled to ensure it wasn't fitted with any sort of tracking device. No, he was definitely late.
Lucistic walked through the door, late, his gaze looking in both directions before spotting Senescence. His radioactive green eyes lit up like a puppies upon seeing her, he had such total adoration for her it practically radiated off of him, "Hey Sen," He said excitedly sitting down next to her. There was an empty seat where Under was meant to be. He gave a shy smile, "I was a little scared there would be two empty chairs," He admitted.
He wore his typical long black coat stock piled with so many weapons, gear, and items it was amazing he remained with good posture. Underneath was a black T-shirt with print in silver ducktape that said, "Sticky Situations" and mesh sleeves. On his grey zipper jeans was a glowing green gummybear hanging from a chain around the side loop of his pants. His hair was long, tied up behind him and he had quite a few piercings over his ears as well as two nose piercings with rumor has it, a tattoo on his tongue, but it may have been from a fruit roll up.
His focus suddenly turned to the waitress, "Hey, I'll take whatever she's having," He said, having no idea that Senescence was drinking black coffee. He leaned in a little, "I guess I just wanted to bond a little with you, I feel like we should be closer," He described, his finger stirring circles across the table, but his eyes remained focused on hers, "It's weird to ask my sister get to know you questions, but I really do feel there's a lot I don't know about you so I was hoping we could just maybe talk? Oh and also we're on SunClan turf and I hear a patrols coming by soon so that'll be fun, right?"

Upon seeing his reaction when she glanced up from her laptop, Senescence gave an audible groan of apparent regret. She should have gotten something much, much stronger to deal with how exhausting her twin was going to be. Of course, she'd never tell him she enjoyed it. Displays of affection were reserved entirely for Innocentia and the three little demons they called their children, and Fia alone was almost as annoying as Lucistic.
"You know me. If I wasn't going to show up, you'd know. Under, on the other hand, we should probably just stop inviting, since he somehow manages to care even less than I do, and I'm still not sure that's possible." Now, almost no one could really count on her for much of anything, especially doing her job, and why Funk kept her around, no one knew. But, all the same, if she even seemed to entertain the idea of showing up to a family event, you could probably be pretty sure Sen would be there, or at least be courteous enough to text a stupid excuse an hour ahead of time if she was going to bail. "As for the boring icebreakers, it sounds about as fun as pulling teeth," she tapped a few times on her laptop before turning it to face him a moment, displaying two running cameras that went up and down the street, probably attached to her motorcycle, "but, seeing as we have time to kill until the cultists arrive, we may as well talk and finish our coffee in the meantime."
Considering everything, her response was about as good as a yes.
"Okay okay, umm.." He began scrolling through his phone as the waitress put down the coffee, which he took a sip of, looked uncomfortable, looked back at the cup as though thinking about spitting it back in and then swallowed it with a shiver before grinning, that was painful and it felt good. He continued scrolling before stopping and looking up from his phone to Senescence, "I'm going to just start rambling out questions okay? Do you remember life before being kidnapped? What was it like being kidnapped for you? What do you think of all of our adopted siblings? Do you think we're really demons, I mean sometimes in the light, I see my eyes turn red and like, that's not normal right? Also what's a typical day like in the league for you?"
"Also, I'll tell you mine because it would be intrusive not to be willing to offer up the same info. I don't really remember at all much about my childhood before I was kidnapped. Personally, I had a lot of fun being kidnapped, but I also really like pain so it kind of fit well? I know when I was taken I didn't like being there, that was before pain felt so good. I remember there were two people I regularly saw, Aria and Izaya, Aria was my age, but she was sick a lot. I'm also cool with our adopted siblings, but like, I can tell that I hold you above them so I guess I don't really 100% love them the way I love you. Or maybe it's more like I see them as helpless so I wouldn't do the same activities with them that I'd do with you. Also I totally think we're demons, I caught mom talking out loud to shadows once and i heard her say it. There was no one there to amuse."
Well, they were getting deep right away, weren't they. Senescence sipped her coffee in silence as Lucistic went first. And then when he was done talking, she sipped some more, staring idly out of the shop. "I remember plenty before I disappeared. I was a naive, idiot of a child, if you don't remember that." She stopped, sticking her hand in her pocket and feeling for her switchblade. Almost without thinking, she sprung it open, digging her thumb onto the tip, blood springing from the self inflicted wound moments before the pain even registered. Still, she didn't look at Lucistic, her eyes blank and dull, flickering back and forth as though she were watching some scene play out that only she could see. "It hard to explain what it was like, because frankly, I don't care to give you the details."
Her breathing had changed, just ever so slightly to indicate something was off. "It was hell, and not the good kind, Luc. Let's just say I'd rather keep the past back in the past for a reason." Sen folded the knife and took her hand out of her pocket, the whole palm stained red as she bled freely, just staring at it run, without any consideration to the fact she might be disturbing some patrons by doing so. Then she ran her other hand down her face with a heavy, steadying sigh. "Yeah. Let's leave it there, okay?"
She grabbed a napkin pouring a little of the coffee on it to wet it and help wipe up her hand a bit better. "I don't really care about our adopted siblings. Good for them, I guess, but they're strangers to me, always will be. As for demons, no, that's true. Funk and Innocentia, and I, not so long ago, actually met with one. Called me sister, though I highly doubt it's an actual relative, unless Under learned to shapeshift without our knowledge. Definitely supernatural, and I'm the last one who'd believe in that type of crap."
Lucistic kept his focus on her like this was normal and it probably was his normal to see Senescence do something so painful and unnatural. He reached for her hand and took it giving her thumb a kiss before rubbing her hand comfortingly, his bright green gaze meeting her darkened eyes, "You can stick your knife into me when you feel that way, Fräulein," He smiled lovingly waiting for her to feel ready to pull her hand back. He wasn't around long, but he always remembered his dad calling his mom fräulein endearingly. Even though he was kidnapped he had acquired a part of his dads accent giving him a blended voice where occasionally the German accent would come out.
"You don't have to go back to that Hell, I won't ask again," He promised, "Hey, how about we go and bother those Sun cult members, we can take one back and torment them, that would be fun." His smile widened when he said it, shifting into that genuine, contagious grin, replicating his moms sly demeanor in every way.
For the longest moment, she didn't pull her hand away, until she snorted slightly at his accent. Senescence, for her part, didn't particularly have one in any sense. Her voice tended to meld in just enough with anyone around her such that you couldn't tell much of anything from it, entirely ambiguous. "Oh, don't worry. I made sure no one would ever have to see that place again." She closed her eyes, the mismatched colors flickering a rippling red like hellfire in the second before they shut completely. No, she never would have to see that place again. It was ash and rust now, all charred bodies and distant memory. For better and worse.
Slipping her hand from his, she used her unharmed hand to ruffle in her pocket for a bandage. She often got injured, and usually kept simple supplies on her, gauze, tape, bandages for things that needed to be covered like her hand. It took only a moment to apply, and then she slipped black gloves over her hands to cover them, flexing her fingers in the supple leather.
She glanced at the laptop that had been sitting forgotten in her lap. Well, in that case, they were in luck. "There's a patrol coming just this way, as you predicted earlier. May as well see if there's anyone interesting to torment from there."
Lucistic's cheeks got a bit hot as he gave Senescence a teasing look. He hardly noticed when his accent came loose, but could piece together when it happened based on other peoples reactions.
His eyes lit up with excitement the same way their moms did, only when his lit up a faint sheen of red could be seen over his green eyes, "Really? Let's have some fun then," He grinned and turned to the door to see who would come in. First through the door was Autumngossamer, her drab red hair still wavy at the bottom, but it had less bounce and shine to it, her makeup was more gorgeous than ever before though. The black colors were faded with hints of red like smokey coal fire blooming through her skin, she looked majestic. Following behind her was Dusky or more accurately in this moment, Shootingcomet and Arcticpaw (What if they were called hand instead of paw for apprentices in the human world? Dramatically less cute! LOL).
"Okay, go use the bathroom so we can leave," Autumn said to Arctic impatiently and watched her leave, when Autumn returned her focus she saw Dusky looking at something, catching her gaze and looking away fast. "What?"
"Nothing," Dusky lied, wanting to just pretend he never noticed Senescence and Lucistic there. He didn't know them well other than they were Glow's kids and helped out in Day and Senescence wasn't afraid to throw someone over a cliff. That was about all he really needed to know.
Autumn followed his gaze and unlike Dusky didn't have the wise decision to not antagonize them, "Ohhhh, my GAWD. What do you two think you're doing here!? This is our blessed land, not a place for you two to just decide to invade, you can get out now or we're calling for backup."
Bloodyrondo was a new face in SunGang, having just moved to the city for college. He was pretty young, about to turn nineteen, and conventionally handsome. A nice jawline, good cheekbones, clean-shaven with really on-point eyebrows. The young main had fiery ginger hair that was short on the sides with a man-bun on the back of his head like a halo. He was wearing black sweat pants, a baggy graphic T that read "Peaches" and a dark denim jacket covered in various pins with political slogans and band names on them. He was also wearing black plastic-frame glasses which really held the look together but did not have lenses since he had perfect vision.
He saw Autumngossamer zero in on the table that Sen and Lucistic were sitting at and bristled right along with her. He'd never met either of them, of course, but he could tell by their edgy attire and smug expressions that they were enemies (Autumngossamer also calling them out as intruders helped confirm this).
"We don't need backup, Gossy, they aren't so tough." Bloody said boldly, getting up in their faces before his senior had a chance to chastise him, "Just what do you think you are doing, huh? This is our turf. Get out before we make you. And by make you I mean literally drag you out."
Sen couldn't help it. The corner of her mouth quirked up in a placid smile, so barely there it was extraordinarily easy to miss. Honestly. SunCult really did love shoving their attitudes in everyone else's faces didn't they? Her laptop was slipped into her bag by the time the pair had materialized in front of the twins. Blatantly ignoring them both, she took yet another drink of her coffee, her mismatched, half-blind gaze drifting from her brother to Dusky as her head tilted lazily to the side. "Mind calling off the mutts for us? Wouldn't want them to get hurt when they realize their bark is little more than idle yapping." Senescence, otherwise known as Wandering among the Day Gang's number, looked incredibly unfazed by the young man and the annoying chatterbox of a girl. "So Luc, we dragging them back to the League, or is this shop keep going to be mopping up blood from the floor?"
"Really? I mean, dragging isn't actually that bad, although I'm pretty heavy to drag, like who's that really hurting here?" Lucistic asked.
Dusky's cheeks burned with embarrassment, he hadn't wanted his cousins to spell out that they knew him let alone had him around their finger. He might have considered complying with Senescence's advice if he hadn't caught what she said next. "You have out stayed your welcome, please takes your drinks and leave," Dusky commanded boldly and to his credit his gaze never broke or faltered once looking Senescence in the eyes. If she were to have shot him right there he would have accepted that fate.
"Oh my gosh, that is so cute, he's trying to stand up to us, but he can't help being so polite, that is so classic for Regime bloods," Lucistic laughed, his fingers drumming on the table as he considered their options, "If we gotta spill blood we will, but I say let's just take them back to the league and have our fun there. I got the van parked in the alley beside here. Do you want to take them all or would you rather only take a few? Honestly I'd love the challenge of kidnapping a whole patrol, wouldn't that be legendary?"
Dusky during this time was hoping to dissuade Autumn and Bloody from picking a fight, but they both seemed to be staring pretty intensely at Senescence and Lucistic still.
"I mean, I was planning on tying them to the back of the motorcycle and taking them back. If they live, good for them. I think the girl's hair might look good filled with gravel and roadkill." Sen commented with a shrug, simply taking another drink and tipping her head side to side as if in thought, considering Dusky's orders. "I say we take the two loudmouths for sure, and Dusky can either join us, or we can drop him off in the Regime with Kaisra so he can't just blab us out." Was it much of a kindness? No, not really. But it avoided him getting hurt, which said quite a bit.
"Basically, take em all, and whether Dusky wants to see the fun part, or is too squeamish, we'll see." She flipped out the knife, palming it in her gloved hand a moment as the blade flipped out, her just drying blood still coating the tip.
"I'm the one with authority here, not him." Bloody's forehead vein suddenly became very prominent as his voice rose. He hated being treated as a kid, it was definitely a trigger for him. He slammed his hands on the coffee table and very nearly knocked over Sen's half-drunk coffee, "And don't talk about me like I'm not here! You couldn't catch me if you tried, not Dusky or Autumngossamer either. It's three against one and to be honest you two look awfully pathetic to me. I could probably take care of you both all on my own."
The ginger stood there for a few more seconds before stepping back and putting his hands in his pockets. His fingers twisted around the switchblade he had in there, but he didn't really want to use it, mostly because he didn't want to screw up his life. He would at the very least lose his full ride scholarship if his school caught wind that he was mixed up in this sort of stuff. It was sort of like walking around with a noose around his neck. He liked to play bad guy was a bit of a goody-two-shoes at heart.
This one was either not very bright, or he really, really had no idea who they were. Sen, for her part, looked quite threatening, covered head to toe in scars that peeked above her shirt and across her throat, a particularly nasty one down her left eye that had left it blind, and something that looked like three nail marked scraped across her right cheek. She was the Internal Affairs Proxy of the League, and really, it was her third time as Proxy at all but that was it's own story. She hardly looked like someone to be pushed around, and she didn't act like it either, as evidenced by her utter lack of care for the upstart teen.
With one fell swoop of her other hand, she grasped her coffee, drinking half of what was left and throwing the still quite hot contents that remained directly into Autumn's face. She seemed like the type who would react to being drenched in half-drunk coffee, especially when it probably tasted about as bitter as Sen's shattered soul
Lucistic's eyes widened with his grin, "You're so violent, I love it! I don' think Autumngossamer would make it though if you did that, it would make it dramatically less fun too because I bet she screams the loudest. Almost on cue Senescence had thrown her coffee into Aututmngossamer's face proving his theory correct as she screamed her head off. At first trying to rub the liquid off with her hands, but after burning herself more she desperately was using her shirt to wipe it off.
"You think we're outnumbered, but Autumn can't fight past anything basic so it's just you two," Lucistic smirked.
Dusky moved in front of Bloodyrondo to help guard him, although the main issue was that Lucistic and Senescence were way taller than him and way more experienced, "Maybe if we leave they'll leave." He suggested.
He hadn't moved his gaze to the direction of the bathroom just yet, but Littlestar's daughter was in there and he was dreading the moment she came out. Lucistic threw Dusky into Bloodyrondo before throwing him to the side and grabbing Bloodyrondo by the front of shirt. Right away he was pretty certain Bloodyrondo wasn't going without a fight and aimed at punch at his throat.
Right where Lucistic let off, Senescence was there, arm lifting and then driving down hard to try and strike Dusky's temple with the handle of her knife as she moved in close to him. There was only so much fuss that could be had in a public place like this. While interesting, she didn't really want to be here when Shule or Sean showed up, that would be just a bit annoying, wouldn't it? Following her hand, she stepped back with her right foot and the left swept out, catching the leg of a chair as she practically threw it at her cousin with a rough kick. Honestly, it would be smarter for him to go down easy, she wasn't trying to kill him, though even then, her 'not trying that hard' looked a lot like 'surrender now or you're going to get killed' soo, maybe she should actively hold back a bit more.
Bloodyrondo had taken out his switchblade and was fiddling with opening it - it didn't quite pop correctly, he'd dropped it too many times - when he saw Dusky step in front of him. Typical. The up and coming Priest Promised appreciated the dedication, but he had to make a name for himself somehow, school be damned,"Absolutely not. Look, I've got this---" he began only to have his cultmate shoved into him. The blade slipped out of his hand and clattered against the tile floor, disappearing under a booth. He was so focused on it that he didn't see Lucistic approaching until he was face-to-face with the rival gang member.
Now that everyone was standing, Vampmyers realized a little late that this guy was quite a lot taller than him. And really, really quick. It was a miracle that Bloody caught a glimpse of the first blow before it landed. He jerked his head to the side violently, feeling his neck muscles contract under the strain. It wasn't enough to totally dodge the blow, but its target shifted from his throat to the side of his face. He tasted his own blood almost immediately. He cursed some gibberish and hiked up his leg to return the favor with a kick aimed at Lucy's groin. It was a low blow, sure, but the teenager didn't have a weapon anymore and was quickly realizing he may have picked a fight he couldn't win through regular means.
Lucistic did fall to the side on impact, but burst out laughing instead of any verbal pain. Now that he was on the floor though he hooked his leg around Bloodyrondo's forcing him to fall over. He opened up his jacket and pulled open a pocket, one of many, this one having a long dagger in it that he pulled out, but before Bloodyrondo could get far he managed to grab onto his arm, "I won't cut you, but if you run I won't hesitate to jab this somewhere unpleasant. Your call."
Dusky had first been shoved into Bloodyrondo then shoved to the side where he would inevitably fall to the floor. He was preparing to hit the floor more than Senescence hitting him with the handle of her knife and for a few seconds everything went black. He woke back up on the floor, fresh pain pulsating across his ribs from the chair being thrown at him, which he now realized was toppled over him. Without much thought he began to get up, but noticed Senescence's looming figure and slowly backed down to her placing the side of his head back down on the floor. This was as polite as a warning got in the Eerie family and if it were any other member he wouldn't back down, but everyone knew to obey any orders from the twins. He looked towards the bathroom this time, at this point he was certain Arcticpaw knew the trouble that was happening and was hiding, which was fine with him.
Autumngossammer had gotten her sight back even if the burning hadn't stopped, she was about to open an app on her phone, but there was little time, she was going to have to do this the old fashion way. She pulled out bones from her pocket and held them for a moment looking at Lucistic and Senescence as if she trying to solve something, "Do the twins work better together?" she threw the bones up in the air and when she found yes with a grimace. Senescence didn't have anyone left to focus on except her, but Bloodyrondo needed back up so she ran to Bloody's side and immediately kicked the dagger out of Lucistic's hand and was about to stomp on Lucistic's arm to make him let go of Bloodyrondo.

Senescence watched Dusky for an extra few seconds after he woke back up and then promptly laid his head down, giving up. Smart choice, albeit one she found a bit boring. This reminded her why she preferred sparring with Lucistic or even Innocentia over many others. Everyone else gave up too easily. But, ah, well, that was the goal for now, get everyone down as quickly as possible and bring them back to the League for the real fun to begin.
She admittedly didn't rush to Lucisitic's side this time, taking the moment to walk with a light step right up behind the preoccupied Autumngossamer, then all at once tangle her hand in the girl's hair and pull back, hard, to unbalance her and expose her neck. "If you don't want her throat slit, I suggest you give up now." Senescence finally acknowledged Bloodyrondo, and in no uncertain terms warning him about the stakes at hand. The pale Proxy didn't really bother checking to see how her brother had fared in the long few moments she'd chosen to take things slow and easy, having left him to the pair for a good, oh, thirty seconds to a minute? Lot could happen in that time, but knowing her brother, even if he was on the verge of death, he'd be laughing his head off gleeful for the pain.
"What the hell, man!" Bloodyrondo exclaimed, clumsily squirming against Lucistic's grasp but not getting anywhere. What kind of guy laughed at being kicked in the nuts?! It was really throwing him off his game. He had totally expected there to be a stronger reaction, strong enough to give him the upper-hand, but no, he was still pinned on the ground, growing more and more frustrated with each second that passed. He was about to try and kick Lucy again but stopped when he saw the dagger come out. His face went pale - which actually was a little dramatic, since he was a ginger of the daywalker variety - and was about to blindly reach for the weapon when Autumngossamer came to his rescue.
He really wished that she had not. Bloody still thought the had the chance to get control of the situation all on his own, but her interference distracted them both long enough for her to get a knife against her throat. He couldn't very well keep attacking with her life on the line like that. Bloody looked around for Dusky and was about to call out to him when he saw her cultmate down and out in the corner, "I thought you had more fight than that," he grumbled, although it was unlikely the other guy even heard it. He turned his pale green eyes back to Gossy and Sen and stopped struggling, "Whatever, you win for now, but don't think this means this is your territory, because it's not. Now let Autumngossamer go so we can get out of here before the cops show up."
