Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
DayClan had been at the gathering early, there was something peaceful about seeing the massive tree still standing. For once in the forests history all clans were united by something, NovaClan, they would always hold the history that they fought with everything they had to save the lives of every cat and vanquish any evil that stood in their path. Things would be back to normal soon, maybe before this gathering even ended. They wouldn't be as buddy buddy as they were when they had to work together, but she was hoping that this gathering would be a celebration where they could all get along. Then again it was only DayClan who had seen Flamingstar turn against NovaClan and fight. She wasn't sure if any other leader caught her act of betrayal.
Her claws drummed against the tree branch she was lying on, but looked over DayClan, things were safe now. At least in the sense that there was no cataclysmic danger. She stared up into the night sky, there was no full moon, but that was the point of this gathering, to celebrate now and not wait for whatever tomorrow or the next full moon brought.
Gossamer Alessandra blinked as she padded through to the gathering place. Once again, she had made what might be considered a mistake. She didn't inform quite everyone that the Regime would be returning to the tunnels after the gathering. Some cats knew, of course, and they all knew that the current situation was temporary. She had kept it from the others simply because it wasn't pertinent information. She wanted to formally thank her fellow leader, and she knew that as soon as she made word that the tunnels were back in business, all of the Regime would want to go back immediately. They were a unique sort, always ready to dig themselves back into the dirt.
She sighed, before making her way to the tree the leader's gathered in. The object that she held in her mouth- she carried it so that it was not in her mouth but wrapped in leaves that were- shifted slightly as she found herself leaping into another branch. She still wasn't exactly sure how these things went, but she was good at following the social cues of others. She set the object down, before offering a warm smile to Glowstar.
"Funny how fast things go back to normal," she meowed, sounding for a moment like she wasn't the slightly deranged chaotic that she was. Only a moment, though, as she continued to chatter. "Well, I guess not normal. There is no normal, and normal is boring so why would we even want it. I should have said funny how fast we go back to meeting as if half of the world didn't try to drown us."
Myst sighed as he padded into the gathering with the Regime. At this point it was no secret he was playing for both teams but seeing as neither leader seemed to care he just continued on. The chocolate feline peering around the currently small gathering of cats before his gaze drifted to the two leaders in front of him. He wondered what they were saying.. even more he wondered what his sister had brought with her to this gathering.
Fierypaw After everything that had happened and learning that, no, the regime commander was not with the Shadow Era. Fierypaw had opted to try and get to the Gathering early before her clanmates. Even though the commander hadn’t caused them serious harm, or ratted them out. Fierypaw burned with the fact they’d been batted around and worse been wrong.
So as much as she hated it, she was going to apologize and be done with it, and make sure she had no audience from her siblings or adopted siblings.
The ginger and black tortoiseshell marched up to Gossamer and Glowstar. She sat down nearby waiting for them to finish glancing back to make sure MoonClan or NightClan weren’t there yet.

Dayclan Goldenphantom
Goldenphantom couldn't believe it was over. There had been time to rest, though the golden Immortal Council still couldn't believe they made it through the flood unscathed. She kept meshed with the other Dayclan members, watching over them protectively even if this was supposed to be a celebration.
The red Nemesis felt a little strange coming to the celebration. He didn't particularly help build the dam or stop the budding revolution in his own flock. The League members that showed were mostly part of the Era of Shadows gang, and he had a strong suspicion as to who organized the entire thing. But he had no evidence so there was little he could do to prove it. Still, some wanted to come and heck, he couldn't resist a party. The few League members who trailed behind him quickly dispersed as he made his way to the leader's tree. "Myst, you must have ran ahead, no?" Funk passed his pathologist, vague surprise in his voice but he also winked that screamed he knew the whole thing. Course, he didn't really mind. Long as he didn't start seeing Regime cats walking around and Goby left in the zoo by himself. He didn't stick around though, climbing up the tree before settling next to Glowstar. You know, as you do. "Hey dear. Goss. What'cha got here?" Funk didn't really appear to care if he was interrupting, even slipping by the other that wanted to speak to them without a care. He quickly pressed his nose to Glow's cheek before pulling away.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Blue (Mage) Blue had gone to exactly one Gathering during her Trainee days and hated every minute of it. It was just too many cats. Mostly gossip and a few arguments, the leaders would bicker a little, then everyone would go home none the wiser. Unfortunately for Blue, her recent promotion to Mage made it pretty much impossible to skip them any longer. She'd have an excuse to avoid the next one on account of her recently discovered pregnant, but she was barely even showing, so it hadn't gotten her out of it this time. Blue just wanted to get this over with and go home, god forbid she actually talk to anyone. Her thoughts racing, she hadn't really been watched where she was going and bumped into a cat she didn't recognize, "Oh, excuse me."
Glowstar tilted her head at Gossamer like for just a moment she was trying to figure her out before her smile peaked through her lips like sunlight filtering through clouds, "I hope it doesn't become normal too fast," She said. She liked that they all got along. She caught sight of Funk coming up their way, "But I guess normal isn't bad, none of us at each others necks. Well... Yet," She said thinking of Flamingstar, "Things seem pretty peaceful," She said before touching noses with Funk and nuzzling into his chest, before looking up at Funk and pulling away herself, "I'm sorry, I don't mind public shows of affection, but I should have asked you if you minded."
Her gaze shifted to the object that Gossamer had brought, "So what is this mystery item, Commander?" Glowstar purred. Her head turned a bit in distraction, no other leaders were here yet, it was strange seeing all the Revolution leaders here and no other clan leaders, but that was fine, it just felt off celebrating with no other clans.
It wasn't a surprise that the mage didn't recognize the pathologist. Between the size of the territory and his recent adventures he'd barely showed face at the main base of the league. "Easy now, I know I'm a catch but no need to actually fall head over heels." He teased, flashing a smile at Blue. He though, knew who she was simply through the gossip vine and his newly acquired Shaman acquaintance. But just as quickly as that smile had snapped into place it faded and was replaced with it's usual bored set. Back to business. He tilted his head, giving the she cat a quick look up and down, habit from his medicine days, insuring she wasn't injured. "Not a fan of these things?" He questioned.
Brakewings waited nervously at the edge of the gathering. It wasn't his first time here, but he hadn't been the full medicine cat then. It was his destiny, there was no doubting the stars had foretold this, but that didn't calm his racing heart.
???
He hated gatherings. The ragged ginger tom had avoided them as much as possible in his life, but for once, he was almost eager to come. How could he not be? With a newly formed clan at his back, even the bitter tom felt a stir of amusement picturing the faces of the other leaders when they saw him come and join them. It was a tricky situation, they were far too small to face the others in a fight if one started, and half the clans here wouldn't honor the truce anymore. Still, his head was high as Chimerastar slipped through the throngs of cats and climbed up the tree to stand beside the other cats. He perched on a branch slightly separate from them, having no desire to get close to the Nemesis. Old habits die hard.
Casually turning his scarred face their way, he dipped his head respectfully to the other leaders. "Glowstar, Dante," he greeted, "it has been a while, hasn't it?"

FALLCLAN Leaves that laced their pelts along with the totems that hung from their necks presented who they were without a moment's thought as Fallclan entered the Gathering. A sleek black figure made his way towards the group of leaders, blue eyes sparking with curiosity and joy as they landed on Chimerastar. His movements were so graceful it hardly seemed like his paws touched the ground. Charm whisked through his being like a dramatic breeze as the young leader came to stand by his comrade. "WELL, HEY THERE PAL!" Calamitystar purred loudly and flung a leg around Chim's shoulder. It was as if the wonder and awe of Cal was sucked right out of the air in a split second. "Whatcha up to now?" His eyes turned towards the other leaders. "Oh, hello everyone."
Mysterious Group
Pygmyprawn sat among a group of strangers with her tail curled neatly around her paws. She watched carefully as Chim interacted with the other leaders, feeling a little irritation at the situation. With him being a leader again she knew there was going to be more problems heading their way. However, there was a glimmer of pride...and something else... in her eyes as she watched him.

"Aww, hello, baby," she sang to the apprentice. "Awfully bold of you to come right up to me, don't you think? I could have told you from the very beginning that I didn't care enough to take down the groups," she told her with a patient tone in her voice from her perch. "But, give me a few moments and we can chat, baby doll. Good old fashion conflict resolution." She offered her a blown kiss, before turning to the other cats who had sort of demanded her attention.
"Wouldn't you like to know, Mister," she meowed innocently to Funk, a grin on her face. She watched Funk and Glowstar interact with a raised eyebrow, before smirking. "Wow, Glowstar, didn't think he'd be your type," she purred with an amused flick of her tail. Not that she particularly knew what type she could have ever imagined the she-cat having. She then glanced back at Funk, then at the item in front of her. "Wow, my lil item is the talk of the town, ain'it," she grinned, before nudging it in Glowstar's direction. It fell to the branch of the DayClan leader, the moss falling away. It was a small, sparkly stone. "It's not much, but a lil' thank you for keeping us around," she meowed with a wink, before becoming quickly distracted by the new toy.
"Why, you look new!" Gossamer Alessandra meowed with a wide smile. To most of the cats he did not, in fact, look new, and with how Calamitystar reacted to him, she felt like she was sort of on the out group, but that was okay.
PRIMAL INSTINCT
Nyiradessa sighed loudly at her mage. "Could you look like you can hold yourself together for ten minutes," she meowed with a low growl as she passed Blue. If the mage had been any younger, she would have cuffed her by the ear for running into someone else. She brushed by aggressively, before making her way to where the medicine cats were meant to gather. It had been years since she had been there, a mere mage herself, and she found herself scanning the group to see if she saw any familiar faces.

NIGHTCLAN Ahava Vairocana was early. Hmm. She'd followed Fierypaw when she'd spotted the apprentice leaving. Ah, well, Flamingstar would certainly be here soon enough, so the void eyed feline, with her impossibly dark eyes and strangely familiar frame, simply glanced around, the burn scars that made up the area around her blind left eye catching the moonlight as she did so. Well, one cat seemed to be familiar with the way to go, and so Cana found herself following to sit nearby Nyriadessa. If she recalled, this was the medicine cats' place, though she could be wrong.
PRIMAL INSTINCT The moment the scarred Proxy spotted her, she made certain to steer clear of the medicine cats' place, casually strolling into the growing crowd, out of sight. Senescence had half a mind to join Funk, but seeing the affection between them made her want to gag, so she settled for peering around to see if she could find Innocentia or Lucistic. She had no particular desire to get mixed up with Nyria or the NightClan she-cat who'd followed her.
The orange feline, of course, had to follow her brother into the clearing. The scent of SummerClan was still fresh on her pelt, but an old, familiar scent had started to overtake it, and Rustyheart was pleased that this was so. SummerClan, the home of her father, had been... nice. But not the place she wanted to stay, when she could help it. And, now she didn't need to worry about it anymore. So she flashed an encouraging smile at Chimerastar, before turning to look at the crowds.
FALLCLAN Normally, unless absolutely necessary, Hystericplague avoided gatherings of any type. He much preferred being cooped up in his den, working on new experiments and not talking to others. But, of course, he had heard that other medicine cats were to be here, and thus Calamitystar had forced the medicine cat to 'go make friends', as the leader had put it. Why did he need to make friends? The hairless tom huffed at the memory, casting a glare at Calamitystar. Another night of being made fun of for his ugliness by fellow medicine cats is a go.
? ? ? He wasn't a part of the family, nor was he ever a part of Waterclan, so it was rather odd to see the russet tom marching in behind Chimerastar and his family and old clanmates. Gallantlight, however, was acting like it was the most natural thing in the world, as he cast a charming smile at a nearby cat. Every step he took seemed calculated, until he finally stopped and sat. His red tail wrapped around his body, and his torn ear twitched as his burning emerald gaze looked forward, watching the leaders chat in their branches.

Primal Instinct "Nah I love it." Funk purred, resting his head on top of her head. Now, if given the option, he'd consider being joined to the hip with Glowstar. Just so he could stay like this a little longer. Even the brief chide from Gossamer Alessandria didn't bother him. He returned the smile, lifting his head away from Glow's as she took the cover off and revealed a stone. "Oooh nice." Funk started before he caught his eye. No way. It wasn't. But it certainly was.
"I'll be right back dear." Funk gave Glow's head a lick, letting her pull away before he went off. "CHIMERASTAR!" Funk practically tackled the other leader. He pressed himself in the crook of the orange tom's next, chest heaving in a fake cry. "I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER. I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD. I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH. YOU CAN'T JUST DISAPPEAR ON ME LIKE THAT!!"
He had heard about his deputy's new home, though he hadn't come to a gathering yet to see for himself. To be frank, he wasn't sure the other tom wanted to see him; he hadn't been the best leader and they were not as close as he might have wanted. He should never have doubted, though, as the black tom came to visit and greeted him like an old friend. He might have laughed if he wasn't so tense. "Cal, I always knew you'd find a way to be a better leader than me. I just didn't think we'd be leading at the same time." He didn't get a chance to address the Commander before he was interrupted by the Nemesis.
With a huff, he attempted to shove Funk off of him, his face burning beneath his fur. So much for a dignified arrival with his new clan.... "Get off me, you lump of fur," he muttered, "do you always have to be so dramatic?" He knew this would be tricky to navigate, greeting the other leaders without letting on that he had met Funk more personally, but he had no desire for the rest of his clan and family to start questioning him. "Cal, lend me a paw, will you?"

Primal Instinct
"I know you missed me though." Funk E'tan whispered, something breathy to where only Chimera could hear before he tore himself off of Funk himself. He closed his eyes, more than satisfied with his little act and he gave Chim a brief yet genuine smile before taking a few steps backs. The gazes on him were like fire, not that he seemed to notice. "What are you doing back here though?"
PRIMAL INSTINCT Blue (Mage) Cyanide "Is it that obvious?" Blue replied, putting a little distance between herself and Mysterium, but not leaving the conversation. He was from the League, had a rank actually, and seemed friendly enough. She was not about to open up too much, of course, but a conversation would surely help pass the time.... and also discourage other cats from trying to talk to her, "Gatherings are a waste of time. Foreign Affairs does a good enough job keeping the League up to date on Clan happenings. I'm pretty sure the only reason we come at all is so that Funk E'tan can visit with all of his boyfriends and girlfriends."
? ? ? Oceanjasper "WOW! This is a lot of cats!" Oceanjasper said to no one in particular, his blue eyes wide as saucers as he looked around the clearing. The freighter probably wouldn't be able to hold this many cats. Well, it probably could, but they would have run out of food very quickly and have to turn to cannibalism. He'd heard the horror stories but luckily never had to partake - did any of these cats, though? He found himself dying to learn more about the lives of these cats, "Hey you, um, who are you?"
He glared at the tom, irritated, and refused to return his smile or meet his eyes. Did Funk have to do this in front of everyone? They didn't know each other that well, and this was feeling more like a punishment than a pleasant surprise. He couldn't afford to look ridiculous in front of all other leaders if he had any hope of them taking him seriously, but he was quickly running out of time to make that impression. Maybe he deserved this one, but that didn't mean he had to be happy about it.
His gaze shifted to a middle ground between the leaders, where he could keep his thoughts straight and away from the uncomfortable truth in front of him. "This is the gathering, is it not? I'm here to give my news and then get out of here as quickly as possible, like all the other leaders." A furtive glance at his former acquaintance to gauge his reaction - that was a mistake and he knew it immediately when his face grew hot again - and he was suddenly interested in the other cat up on the branch with them. He'd never met Gossamer before, but this seemed like a better chance than any. "Who is that?"
"I'd be careful saying that within earshot of not only Funk, but Glowstar as well." He looked up at the happy couple before looking back to the Mage. "Normally I'd agree with you but after the battle things have been so hectic and lack of leadership in the proxy department it's a pretty good call from Funk for us to all show up here." Though from the looks of it, most of the other clans thought otherwise.
Thistlestar approached the crowd of cats, his clan mates trailing behind him. His green gaze was calm and peaceful as he entered the clearing with a new found confidence. Aside from the outcome of the impending floods, there were many joyous events happening for him in his personal life, it couldn't be helped that the Springclan leader was practically radiating with excitement.
He stepped forward into the circle of leaders, nodding respectfully to those he recognized before finding the sight of Chimerahunt. The cat looked familiar, but he couldn't pin an exact thought to match the feelings. "Hello, who might you be?" The Springclan leader inquired thoughtfully, his question laced with curiosity rather than disrespect.
