Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Rosekit was sitting near the nursery entrance as she watched the rain fall just outside the den. She sighed as she rolled a pebble between her paws. While she was not the most outspoken of kits, she did get bored like most kits would when they were stuck in the nursery because of a rainstorm. She wanted to be able to move a bit more than she could in the nursery. She had told herself that today would be the day she properly explored the camp and the rain had all but ruined her plans. The young she cat let out a bored sigh as she set her green eyes on the nursery entrance once more.
A sucking skid echoes through the air followed by a startled yowl as Soothingkit slid ungracefully into the entrance of the nursery, yellow eyes shining against her soaking wet and mud covered white pelt. "It sure if raining a lot!" She giggled as she got to her paws and stepped into the cover of the den, the spunky kit had never been one to let bad weather stop her and her adventurous spirit often led her to sticky situations since she didn't pay much attention to the consequences of her actions. "Hey Rosekit!" She chirped, her eyes landing on her denmate in the dim lighting.
Rosekit had moved back when Soothingkit came sliding into the nursery in an attempt to keep from getting wet or muddy. She honestly looked a bit shocked as she looked her denmate over. How could she stand being out in the rain like that and still look so happy? "Hi Soothingkit. Did you get caught in the rain?" Either way she didn't want to seem rude by staring at her without giving her a proper response. Honestly, she was thankful for the appearance of someone to talk to. She had hated the thought of spending the rest of the day stuck inside the boring nursery with no one to talk to or play with.
"You could say that, I was exploring the warriors den when it started to rain and I was gonna stay there while I waited for it to stop but then some awesome puddles started to form and so I decided to go jump in them." She began to clean the brown hoop from her coat, swiping her tongue between words until the ivory color beneath started to show. "Whatcha doin in here all alone?"
As it was a rainy day, it seemed no one had bothered to wake Pumpkinkit up early, and so it was only at this moment when the orange tabby woke. She rubbed her eyes, trying to duck her head back into the straw to block out the light of the day. It took her a few moments to realize that, no, there wasn't really any light, so she sleepily lifted her head, her mind still groggy, and looked around the nursery. "Is it still night?" she asked, then broke off into a yawn.
Soothingkit looked further into the dimly lit nursery, her yellow eyes finding Pumpkinkit rather quickly. "No, it's daytime, but the weather is really nasty." She giggled, looking down at her thick coat which was still half covered in fresh mud.
Pumpkinkit's eyes widened, although in her sleepy state they just appeared to be normal, and she jumped to her paws. "Is it raining? Do you think we could find some frogs?" she asked, her eagerness slowly starting to wake her. Would frogs taste as slimy as they sounded?
(Sorry for the late response! I haven't been feeling my best here lately)
"Well I didn't want to get wet by going outside and there aren't many other kits awake at the moment." As she spoke she was sure to keep her voice low so that she wouldn't wake any of the others. It wasn't long after that when she heard Pumpkinkit. She was saved from having to answer her by Soothingkit's response however so she just glanced over at the other kit. "Frogs? I mean there might be some out there, but why would we want to catch them?" She couldn't imagine what her denmate would want with a frog, but her curiosity had compelled her to ask.
As soon as Pumpkinkit said the word frogs, Soothingkits eyes lit up in delight. "There are so many! All the rain is drawing them out and its great because honestly they are really dumb." She stopped speaking just long enough to hear Rosekits question. "Why did you wanna know if there were frogs?" Her curiosity was now peaked, as she sat starting at her denmate with a tilted head, her dirty pelt now forgotten.
At Soothingkit's words, saliva seemed to form at the corner of Pumpkinkit's mouth, and her eyes brightened. Frogs sounded so wonderful. Even if they happened to end up tasting terrible, it would certainly be fun to see how many of them she could catch. She met Soothingkit's eyes, then Rosekit's, and her smile widened. "I wanna eat one," she muttered. Would it taste like slimy bird? For some reason, that thought only made her stomach rumble with hunger.
Soothingkit heard her denmates stomach rumble and jumped to her paws, a fabulous idea coming to mind. "Let's go catch some frogs! A little rain cant atop us, right?" Not that it mattered to her now, she had already been running in it since she woke up, but now she wouldnt be alone, and that was what made her even more excited to do it.

Turkeykit stomped a lil foot and padded over to the group of kittens. "You bunch aren't going to go frog huntin' without me, are ya?" He snorted with an adventurous gleam in his eyes.
She heard the small stomp of a small foot before hearing his voice and realizing who it was. "Of course not Turkeykit! It will be way more fun if there are more of us going, don't you think?" Soothingkits excitement just kept growing, she was the type to adventure out and do things without a care in the world about the consequences to follow her actions.
Pumpkinkit was practically dancing on her paws as she waited, eager to get the hunt going already. She could already taste the slimy creature in her mouth; or, at least, what she thought it would taste like. A frog was small, though, wasn't it? Perhaps she would need more than one. "C'mon! Lets go!" she said, prancing in a little circle before she took off outside.

"Yes lets go!" Turkeykit said impatiently, but he was glad they were letting him join. He took a few confident pawsteps forward before casting a glance backwards. "So uh, do any of you know where this place is?"
The moment Pumpkinkit stepped outside was when Turkeykit voiced his question, and she froze. "Uhhh, I thought we could just find them wherever. Am I wrong?" Slowly, she turned to face the other kits, who were still in the safety of the nursery, and tilted her head. She knew very little about frogs, were they only able to be found somewhere specific?
