A small frame of a kit shivered at the edge of a small cave, filled by a display of hanging flowers and leaves, each one different, each one beautiful and dried in their own way. Autumnkit gazed up at the walls of the cave, the rock impossible to be seen, for flowers and leaves hid every stretch of rock. His gaze hardly stayed still as it darted around the cave, his paws shivering. It almost seemed as if it was impossible for the small kit to stay still. Between his jaws were a fresh array of flowers and leaves which he lay down in the middle of the cave with a deep sigh. This was the small tom cat's escape from the world, his hidden world. Hardly anyone knew of this spot and Autumnkit hoped it would stay this way. However, it wasn't as if it was hidden or anything and it would only be time until his strange display was stumbled upon.
It wasn't every day that Cherrykit decided to get up and go exploring, but she would admit that it was most days, at least.
One of the newer kits to join the Clan, Cherrykit wasn't totally sure of her way around yet, and her terrible sense of direction meant that she would often somehow get lost in the camp. Her solution for this up until now had been squeeze your tiny kit body into a small gap and hope its a way out, which she supposed was now why she found herself in a small cave, completely isolated from anyone she might know...except for one cat, it seemed.
"Is that...Autumnkit?" she asked, squinting at the small form in front of her. She tried to keep her voice down, getting the sense that she was intruding on something special; however, she couldn't stop the surprised, awed tone of her voice. "Um...I can leave, if you want-wait, what's all this?" she interrupted herself, gazing around at all the flowers. "Did - did you do this?"
Pumpkinkit had been nearby, chewing on a piece of bark, when she had noticed Cherrykit pass by. At first, the she-cat didn't think much of it, and went back to her 'food', but then she remembered all the times she had grown curious and followed her brother to a hidden cave, which Cherrykit just so happened to be heading in the direction of. "W-wait," she said, although it was muffled as she spoke through the bark. She hurried to her paws, nearly fell, started to follow, went back for her bark, and then finally gave chase. Pumpkinkit was still unsure if Autumnkit was aware that she knew of his hobby and secret location, but she had prided herself in keeping it a secret for him, which was a rather difficult thing for her to do when she wasn't trying to eat everything.
With her small body, she easily slid into the cave, bumping into Cherrykit in the process. "Autumnkit, I'm a terrible guard!" she cried.
