( Eclipse & Tempest )
In recent moons, the Senior Warrior hadn't really interacted much with others. Between the fiasco, if everything could even be summed up in such a short word, with Yellowmoon had left her both angry... and tired, really. She'd tried to hard to protect her nieces and nephews, and she'd failed. Now that Yellowmoon was gone, she could help Caspianpaw with Vanillapaw's kits. It wasn't fair for Gravelstar's son to raise her niece's kits alone after her mother, Yellowmoon, had killed her. But in that time, she'd neglected not only her own kits, though they were warriors and could certainly fend for themselves, but her other nieces and nephews as well. When was the last time she'd gone to visit Eternallaughter, for example?
Today wasn't about that particular tom, though. It was about Tempestignite. Eclipseknight didn't really know much about her, other than that she'd lead SunClan for a short period of time. For some reason, it had never come up that she really interacted with the she-cat. It was time to change that.
For now, however, the she-cat sat near the camp entrance, enjoying the chilly breeze and the waterfall's mist in the early morning, waiting for Tempestignite to wake. Just because she wanted to get to know her niece more, didn't mean she had to be rude and try to wake her early or something.
Tempestignite wasn't sure what it was like to have family. At least not those outside her kin that had been in SunClan. Her littermates, uncle, and half-siblings were all she'd really known. Her father hadn't ... been there at all. And then he died. Her father's side of the family was different than what she was used to, or what she'd expected. She wasn't sure if she wanted to be anywhere near them when their melodrama came crashing down. Of course, there was no way for her to get out of this miss when she'd been born into it. So, she woke early and went out to meet her aunt, still unsure of what they were going to be doing. Fighting to the death? Hunting? Boarder Patrol? Talking? Who knew, not her.

"Good morning." Eclipeknight greeted, flashing a smile to the she-cat as she arrived, and rather hoping the expression would assuage some of the warrior's fears. They weren't so different in age, not really, when you considered they were both Senior Warriors. At some point it all seemed to blend together. "Do you want to head out right away, or eat first?" Even with leafbare on the horizon, there was still some prey left over from the night before, and even if the she-cat hesitated to eat what was there, the pool was only just outside. They might get a bit cold, but they could do some fishing, warm up with fresh prey, and then head out again.
Though cold, the day looked to promise sun, which would hopefully do well to warm their pelts as they wandered the territory. The gray tabby didn't really have any specific plans, more so she expected they'd do a little of everything. Maybe patrol the border for a bit, do some hunting, and just entertain themselves with a walk. A day to relax instead of getting caught up in hectic last minute preparations for the cold. Emberstar could forgive her just this once.
"We can head out first, if you want." she added the last bit as if it was an afterthought. S Tempestignite didn't feel like she should be eating before they everyone else did. She didn't mind losing a life to starvation, even if she really didn't want to give up a life because there wasn't enough food to go around for all the clan members. She let out a sigh. "What is on the agenda for today, Eclipseknight?" she really didn't know how to act around family, did she? Her Aunt was older than her by seasons, and yet they were both Senior Warriors. Tempestignite probably wasn't technically old enough to be one, but she figured it was due to her having led a clan - and she was sure only Emberstar knew that about her past. She hadn't been on long enough for word to get around after Tearystar's vanish.
