NOTE: This is an in canon rp. Please list in parenthesis ( ) if you want some of your cats to be zombies. Zombie cats will be cured in the end so zombie cats will be temporary antagonists for this plot!
SUMMARY
A zombie outbreak has taken over all the clans after a foreign object was found in the rivers and has since been removed, but the damage has been done. The clans are meeting together to find a cure and will receive a prophecy to aid them. It's up to the clans to work together to head to two-leg place and find the cure.
WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE ZOMBIES
BEHAVIOR: Unhinged// Rabid// Violent
SENSES: They have no concept of self preservation, never flinching when harmed and will hunt other cats to feed on their flesh
INTELLECT: These zombies are intellectual, capable of recalling their memories and producing speech. They have comprehension that they are crazy, as they are not afraid to act normal and helpless, begging for mercy and the next moment attacking someone.
The cats of DayClan traveled through the dark, their orange, bronze, and white colored pelts looked like embers sailing through the cold skies. They lit up like a torch cutting through the night like a knife. They were compact, practically brushing up into one another while the strongest members flanked the perimeters. At a distance they looked almost ghoulish, barely visible to be cats and more like a mass of vibrant gold and bronze lights, even hawks wouldn't want to swoop down on them. Glowstar was at the head of the group, maintaining a steady pace to ensure there was no one lagging behind before stepping into the gathering. Her emerald eyes so bright they appeared to smolder like hellfire with a danger few could match.
Unlike every other gathering Glowstar did not dismiss her cats to wander and instead she only ventured to the tall tree where announcements were typically given. She pounced up to the tallest branch she naturally could get at to have a bird eyes view over her clan and their surroundings. Although it would be hard to spot any dangers. The danger she had been facing were cats and most were their own. If a clan of zombies were headed towards them it would be hard to detect what they are at a distance.
Foxtrotter padded alongside his clanmates, cautiously glancing at the shadows between the trees. Foxtrotter was not among the strongest in the clan. He was rather scrawny and more legs than anything. The sorrel Somali tom was mostly around to make peace or dig graves, rarely did he find himself in the brink of battle. He had come along for the big discussion they were going to have that night. The most he knew, the cats that were sick were their own and he wondered if the other clan cats were sick, too. However, these werent the common sickness a cat would come down with during leaf-bare; this was something far more serious and dangerous. Cats he knew were being hostile and attacking their own clanmates. He had rather not come to the gathering tonight due to the dangers but he had to know what would happen next and if there was a cure any of the other clans had found, yet.
Cloudfur was on the outside of the group, keeping a look out for any dangers. The large tom was ideal for battling and looking intimidating, using his massive size to his advantage. Despite being large, he was a rather gentle giant preferring peace over hostility. However, tonight he looked more serious. His amber gaze were usually soft and warm but at the given moment, they were intense and focused. The fur on his shoulder bristled and his muscles tensed with each little sound. All the way to the gathering place, he had kept his claws unsheathed, ready to defend his clanmates if any of the sick cats appeared.
Windchaser had been told to stay in camp after their incident with Foxstar when she was giving birth to her second litter of kits. When she heard that Glowstar was going to the gathering to discuss the sick cats, Windchaser was the first to volunteer. Unfortunately, she had a pawful of kits to take care of. She insisted knowing that she was one of Dayclan's fiercest warriors but Glowstar had forbade it. Windchaser was needed to guard the camp and to keep the nursery safe in case any sick cats stormed into the camp. Reluctantly, she had agreed and watched as the group left without her.

it's ya girl here with my zombie son, please treat him kindly (Funk and eventually Goldenphantom) Dayclan Goldenphantom stayed around the middle of the group, the young Immortal Council member keeping an eye on all her clanmates surrounding her. She wasn't entirely sure about this whole zombie deal, but she knew she would not let anyone else get infected. Not if she had any say in it. Her golden pelt whipped in the wind and she settled down along the side, tail wrapped around her paws. Primal Instinct Of course, a zombie party was not complete without the king himself, (Funk E'tan). Though recently, he's felt rather strange. He had a bellyache the other day and took some watermint to try and soothe it. Instead, he had only felt worse. Recently, the taste of prey hadn't been enough. He kinda began to understand where Innocentia and Lorelei came from, and was overly curious to try it himself. Sadly, he was mostly cut off by his concerned proxies or hunters and admonished. That didn't stop him from trying, to where he was pretty much kept a prisoner in his own Nemesis' den. But when the word came around that there was going to be a gathering to figure out just what was going on, the sensible part of his brain managed to convince the others to let him go. And with him, was the rest of PI, of course. But the further he walked, the hungrier he got. Maybe he wanted a cure, maybe he wanted to finally get a taste.
When they got there, he casually waved his tail and the League began to disperse. Hopefully any infected members would leave their teeth to themselves. As Nemesis, he deserved first bite. Somehow, his coordination was alright, but not enough to get as high as Glowstar, who he gave a sharp smile to, of course.
(Off the top of my head I can have: (from Night) Bleakwind (currently pretending to be unaffected), Beetleflight, Flickerflame, Fernshadow, Viscariablossom, Fierypaw; (from Day) Rubyflame(will eventually succumb), Illuminatedpath, Electricwolf; (from SunClan) Skipstep; (from MoonClan) Scorchedpaw; and (from PI) Eve zombiedfied I might not use all of them but just so people know they're infected)NightClan
It took everything Soaringstar had to keep at the front of her clan and not sprint ahead, leaving them all to catch up. She hoped the tremors in her legs weren't obvious. She no longer felt she could trust her clan. Fierypaw had been the one to find the weird thing that had started it all. Now a large portion of NightClan had fallen to this terrible sickness. They'd had to quarantine Fierypaw when she attacked Beetleflight, trying to take a large chunk out of his leg. And a few other cats had to be quarantined. But every time there'd been no warning. And she feared that the ones in the quarantine might eat each other. But she had no better ideas than putting them into quarantine and hoping for the best. Even more frightening was the complete lack of warning every time. Any of the cats she had with her could also be infected. And just biding their time.
It was a huge relief when they arrived to the Gathering. Soaringstar didn't bother giving NightClan any signals, simply shot for the tree and scrambled up to be on a branch a bit higher than Glowstar. Not even offering a meow of hello, just getting to a place harder to reach before trying to calm her racing heart rate. She would not be in a position of weakness if things went to Mouse-dung.
///---///
Squirrelleap was concerned by the infection, and he was concerned about the way it had affected the clan as a whole. A great deal of the clan had been torn between whether they should go and risk encountering clans filled with infected, or if they should really remain with their own who were clawing at the barrier of the quarantine they'd made in NightClan. Worse, it felt like he had to keep watching his back because after Flickerflame, Fierypaw and Fernshadow had acted out a lot of the infected had been a lot sneakier. Just the day before he'd been on patrol and they'd found a rogue who'd been mauled and eaten from. IT had been a horrifying sight, and it made his stomach turn. And no cat had gone into quarantine for it though they'd looked. Who knew how many were infected and they just didn't know? Watching Soaringstar bolt for the tree and scramble up it like afox was on her tail told him that she recognized the danger they were all in. Immediately the tom cast his gaze around to see if there was anyone looking shifty of the gathered cats.
///---///
Bleakwind had been feeling strange. But after Fierypaw's actions got her put in quarantine along with other cats acting out. He'd taken care to rein himself in. Though his belly hurt, and his mind felt muddled, he didn't go to the medicine cat. He didn't want to be put in the hole they'd put the others they were scared of. Even when he stopped paying as much mind to StarClan and the code, as his mind turned instead to desiring something more than the taste of prey. And as he looked about the gathering clearing. He saw nothing but possibilities. His eyes gleamed and his ear twitched. He glanced at Flamingsoul. She looked vibrant and delectable but as the deputy she was out of reach. But he could see league cats. The ones who'd tried to kill Flamingsoul. His eyes lit up and he barred his teeth. No one would fault him if he took a bite out of one of them.
(I've got Shadowfeather from Nightclan that I would like to be infected!)
Nightclan
Flamingsoul followed in behind Soaringstar. Her chin was held high and she looked elegant and powerful. Her firey pelt blazed in the light of the moon, illuminating it. Her turquoise eyes were narrowed but they were watching every little movement coming from everyone. She sat at the bottom of the tree and scanned the gathering cats. Her heart began to race when she noticed Primal Instinct. She had run away from them to join Nightclan and became Nightclan's deputy when Larkwing mysteriously 'disappeared'. She wondered if any of them would recognize her and try to attack her. Luckily, there was usually a truce during any clan gathering especially when there was a danger threatening all the clans and groups. Perhaps this would call for a temporary union between clans and groups. She took a deep breath, calming her nerves.
///////////
Shadowfeather entered into the clearing with his clanmates. He wasn't feeling so well, himself, and considered staying in camp instead of making the trip to the gathering place. He felt clammy and feverish but he was almost afraid to tell anyone for the fear of being trapped in the pit with killer cats. His muscles ached and he felt irritable. He could hear his stomach starting to rumble with hunger even though he had eaten before they came. He had enjoyed a large rabbit by himself, scarfing it down as if he hadn't eaten in days but that rabbit, despite its size, didnt seem to be enough. He needed something bigger but what was bigger than prey in the forest that he could easily kill? Deer were too big and too fast for him to take down and the rest of the forest animals were small.
Then it came to him. Cats were big enough and easier to take down. Rumor has it that some Primal Instinct members eat cats. Perhaps cat didnt taste so bad? If they ate it, maybe he could, too. However, he didn't want to eat anyone from his clan as good as it sounded to him. Besides, if he attacked one of his clanmates, surely they would throw him in the pit. Maybe he could pick off one of the elders from the other clans or maybe he could venture into the rogue lands and take one of them without his clan knowing about it. But the hunger he felt now was growing. He needed food, now. He wasn't sure if he would be able to make it passed the gathering.
///////////////
Echomelody had returned from being captured by the twolegs and was met with a serious problem in the clans. Cats were killing and eating each other. So much for a warm welcome. The small, beautiful tuxedo she-cat made her way into the clearing with the rest of her clanmates - well, the ones that hadn't turned, that is - and sat toward the front of the crowd. She wanted to hear exactly what the leaders had to say about the problem. Her brilliant and vibrant green eyes focused on Soaringstar high up in the tree. She suddenly felt a wave of dread as she realized that the leader was so concerned about the dangers they were in, she had climbed much higher than Glowstar into the tree. Echomelody had to crane her neck to see her. Was she too afraid to be close to the ground? Or perhaps she was just looking out for any danger. It was hard to tell why the leader had climbed so high and so quickly. It made her feel uneasy and she cast cautious glances at the gathering cats. Were there any sick ones among them? What if they turned during the gathering? Would cats be hurt? She suddenly realized the amount of danger she was in and began regretting coming to a gathering where they were all trapped with a bunch of cats that could very likely be infected. She thought about how Beetleflight had been attacked and anxiety rose in her chest. He wondered how he was doing. She hadn't spoken to him since he was first attacked. She didnt even notice if he had come to the gathering.

(Cats I'll be including this plot will be: Reprise from PI (not infected), Nibbles rogue that due to being infected is drawn to all the cats at the gathering. tho him being infected probably doesn't change his day-to-day lifestyle anyways aaaand velvettouch from sunclan (infected) also, nicepaw from dayclan (who will be eaten by Funk, poor thing))
Primal Instinct - The matter was very concerning to Reprise. She had been hesitant to attend the meeting, but she wanted to be there to support the League. Only a few cats had begun to act up within Primal Instinct but the horrible stories from the other clans had spread fast. Murders. Bloodshed. Crazy cats. Thankfully, she did not feel sick. Puffing out her fur as she followed the League into the gathering, she felt a sense of pride. She had her group. She was so glad she had been accepted by them at last, it had taken her a while to fit in but becoming the Proxy of Foreign Affairs had given the she-cat a new hope. A sense of control followed her footsteps.
Rogue - Nibbles was so excited and happy at the same time. He had heard of the infectious virus that had been spreading like wildfire between clans. The tom himself assumed he was probably infected. He hadn't been feeling too crash hot as of late, stomach aches and whatnot. And he suddenly felt like some roast cat for dinner. He wasn't typically a cannibal, he just enjoyed watching others suffer. So, it was all new, but Nibbles didn't mind it too much. He'd been purposefully coughing on all the cats he saw. It was so funny! Now, the smell of cats had led him the gathering. Sniffing the air with excitement, he began to chant his copyrighted slogan to himself /quietly/. "Nibble... nibble... nibble. Oh! So many cats! Delightful." He purred, waddling out from behind the dark bushes surrounding the gathering. The tom had made sure to roll about in everybody's territory (he'd certainly got his daily share of exercise), so that no one would assume he was a Rogue. Skipping up to a couple of yummy looking cats, Nibbles smiled, blinking a couple of times, his mouth watering. "Hi dinner! Oops, no, I meant yolo what's up y'all?" Clearly, the effects of the infection hadn't completely taken hold, because the tom was not yet aggressive or maybe the virus was having trouble completely effecting his brain because it was so messed up. Whatever the reason, Nibbles made sure he still used his manners.
SunClan - The pain in poor Velvettouch's stomach had been getting worse as time had progressed. The tom had resorted to crying in the Warriors den and thinking about how sore his poor tummy was. However, at the mention of the clans gathering to sort this inconvenience out, Velvettouch had been quite excited to go. He needed the pain to be fixed and fast! He wasn't sure how much longer he could last, or if he could last at all. The long-furred Persian tom had been so focussed on his pain, he hadn't really been listening to the most recent updates on the virus and how it was making cats "aggressive." The poor thing just wanted the pain to end, little did he know he was in a for a hell of a ride...
DayClan - Nicepaw had just become an apprentice. She was a lovely cat, extremely kind and giving. She pretty much had given her all in life and wanted to help others as much as possible. She had big dreams for her future and was really excited. She had made so many lovely friends in DayClan and had her whole life planned out in front of her. Even with everything at stake currently, the she-cat still skipped into the gathering with a smile on her sweet little face and hope in her mind. It never crossed her mind that today would be the day some cat had her for dinner.
( Infected: Fia Cendrillon / DC, Lorah / PI, Spellmania & Mountainsound / SC. And on the subject of Foxstar... Whether she is actually infected remains to be seen. )
SUNCLAN Not much had changed in Foxstar since the discovery of whatever sort of illness or infection this was. Though to be quite honest... how could one even tell by this point? The High Priestess was gone more than not, and death seemed to find its way into her paws regularly. She tipped and stumbled into the gathering place, incoherent murmurings of death and destruction writhing through the air and around the cats already present. Her paints were haphazard and violent, looking like some sort of liquid fire blood spray rather than organized designs. To be quite honest, it was hard to tell if what appeared to be blood was paint or real anymore, as the stench of death seemed to hang around her like the plague infecting the clans.
She seemed unaware and delusional, right up until the moment the scent of the leaders hit her nose, and the change in her as she seemed to focus on those around her was eerie and obvious. A half-smile that screamed danger formed on her lips and her stride straightened almost to normal, though something seemed just a touch too off about it as she scaled the tree. "I'd say this is a nice little chit chat, but the lot of you are anything but pleasant company." The fox-pelted leader turned her smile on the cats below her, catching sight of Reprise for a moment and lingering on the feline just a touch too long with that deadly grin before it finally settled back on Glowstar and the other leaders in the vicinity.
Spellmania bounced into the gathering place, her mouth watering at the scent of the prey around her. DayClan would probably be most tender, she presumed, they were a sweet bunch, if her mentor Strikhedoniadalisay was anything to go by. Without much of a thought, the she-cat was wandering towards them, a childish smile on the barely apprentice sized warrior's face, downy black fur bouncing up and down. It didn't hurt to 'mingle' did it?~
The gray striped Senator hummed softly as she followed SunClan into the gathering place. Mountainsound was a kind and gentle sort of cat, and for all intents and purposes, that had not changed. Consciously, she understood that her mind was in shambles, that to act on the instincts pushed to the forefront was a grave mistake, and that should she ever be cured, she would regret her actions. But empathy had been suppressed in favor of insatiable hunger, and those considerations were in the back of her mind. Rather, she was focused on using her skills to her advantage, no matter how wrong or right it might be. Which was perhaps a terrifying thing, as each and every claw on her right paw was coated thickly with a different herb to be used to her benefit. Of course, one had to be careful, didn't want to make herself sick from ingesting these...
PRIMAL INSTINCT Naturally, Senescence was a part of the scene as well, walking lazily through the crowds some distance behind Funk as they arrived. Her gaze traveled around with boredom, until it eventually landed on Flamingsoul. Well. What an expected sight. The Internal Affairs Proxy wasn't exactly surprised to see her here. After all, she kept tabs on the League's members, current... and former. And that included the she-cat who now resided among the NightClan cats.
DAYCLAN Fia had to be here. Really, all she wanted to do was eat, but she had to bide her time. Unlike some, there was little moral conflict to be had in her should she go back to normal, whether through death or cure. Perhaps not the best thing from the Immortal Council member, but it was what it was. Not that she'd ruin her chances at meals by attacking someone out in the open. No she was a touch too smart for that. She just had to get one or two cats all alone, and they were hers. Though, with all the felines surrounding her, the idea of a carefully thought out plan seemed a touch less exciting than just outright rampage.

Primal Instinct - Reprise was caught off guard when Foxstar's burning gaze tore into her as if ripping her soul apart. She had met the leader of SunClan once before during the league's halloween party and had taken a disliking to the she-cat. Something about her and the stupid little threats she had directed at Reprise, just didn't gel well with Reprise. It would make the creamy coloured Bengel's day if she could waltz into SunClan territory and kick over a few pot plants. It was just her kind of thing. You'd expect a cat like Reprise, a goodie two shoes, if you will, to be a little more understanding. But when cats made threats she didn't apprecited it got to her, in more ways than she could imagine. Okay... So maybe Foxstar was a nice gal, skipping innocently through life like everyone else? But something deep inside of Reprise screamed that this was probably not the case.
Rogue - Nibbles had gotten bored already. He wanted juicy gossip and probably a few other things. With an extremely loud squeal, that sounded like a duck choking more than a cat squealing, he tumbled up the closest hill leading to the gathering and began rolling about. Ah! It was so fun!

(also Lorelei (PI) can get infected in a sec)
Primal Instinct
If Funk cared a single bit for any riff and insult thrown his way, he certainly didn't show it. He laid down on his little perch, somehow hiding the tremors that shot up and down his legs and spine. All he could find himself doing was staring out at the gathering of cats. As more and more came, his eyes darted around like a rabbit in the snow. Unable to help it, he was just way too hungry. And he was loosing his battle with the disease very quickly. ~~ Lorelei didn't really catch exactly what was going on. But a gathering! Yay, those were always fun. The tall calico weaved through the crowd, throwing out a hello every now and again like anyone here really knew here. But at the sight of a familiar grey and black pelt. she picked up the pace. "SIS!" She would have tackled Fia Cendrillon out of excitement, but instead rubbed her head against the crook of the Immortal Council's neck, a purr radiating through her.
DAYCLAN Fia couldn't help it. When her sister brushed up against her, the ashen feline's mouth watered. And when Lorelei pressed herself up against her, she lost control. She was just so hungry. So, much to the surprise of those around her, she offered a smile to her sister, purring in response as she tackled the League she-cat. Which, at first might have seemed like a pleasant reaction, until a moment later when the huntress would quickly realize that there were teeth in her shoulder. Specifically, Fia Cendrillon's teeth. Her sister was literally trying to take a chunk out of her.

Primal Instinct + Dayclan
Lorelei let her sister tackle her, the ground underneath soft with grass. A laugh bubbled out of her before it was suddenly choked by her taking her breath in. Pain bloomed across her shoulder, and the realization hit her that Fia, her sister, was digging her teeth into her shoulder. The first victim of many. But the calico didn't struggle or cry out. That laugh came back, far more staggered and a bit madder than before. "Gee Fia. I thought you said you'd never do the traditional love bite greeting? Maybe now you can let me--hey."
Lorelei's words were stopped as Fia was dragged off of her. Whipping to her feet, the calico was face to face with a golden tabby who smelled of apples. Blood began to pool and clog the patch of fur still on her shoulder, a decent piece of flesh now hanging from Fia's mouth. "What'cha doin?"
"Fia, what's wrong with you?" Goldenphantom asked, placing herself between the two siblings, worry coating her brown eyes.

*UPDATE ALL READ
To move the plot along, we have decided to move it to the next part. Basically, my character Nibbles is going to start spouting the prophecy to save the clans because for some reason the Gods chose him to save the clans. Probably to hurt his pride
THE MEANING OF THE PROPHECY The "star" means Pao's character, Starmie who is guarding the cure (medicine) in the "land of barriers" the "two-leg place."
Your cats don't know this but will eventually work it out and in turn, send a bunch of their strongest cats out to find the "star" and find the "cure." This will happen in another thread which will be posted soon! (All credit to amazing Pao for writing the prophecy).
For now though, we're going to rp everyone's reaction to the prophecy and the chaos that follows as everyone argues over the meaning! As always, have fun and go wild (:
Nibbles wasn't feeling so good. One minute he had been screaming and yelping on the hill top of the gathering, having so much fun, the next minute, he felt a strange and dark power overtaking his body. It was as if demons themselves had decided to choose his body as host and were now forcing him to waddle awkwardly into the middle of the gathering and up towards the tall tree! He was still able to think and see but he couldn't control himself. The typical giggles that excluded from his voice box had stopped, there was quietness surrounding him, something that had not happened since the tom had been born.
He tried to stop his paws from moving, as he undoubtedly stumbled up the tall tree. This wasn't good. He shouldn't be here, let alone set a paw on the tall tree with all the powerful leaders who could probably kill him with on blow. He was a Rogue in a clan gathering, waddling on top of everybody's sacred tree! Surely this would be the end of Sir Nibbles the First?
But then... All of a sudden, something strange, something really unexpected happened. Nibbles felt his mouth opening, his eyes becoming blurry, the unwanted power inside of him forcing his jaw to move. Words that were not his broke the silence of the world around the poor, slightly confused silver pelted tom. In a deep voice, that was clearly not his, he spoke the words of StarClan:
"Find the star who centers around herself Located in a land of barriers Beware of the star For she hides what you seek The task is not easy nor safe Prides will be tested, relationships destroyed Unite for victory A cure found
But what of the bonds formed..."
When the prophecy was complete, Nibbles felt the dark power inside of him leave, soak away into the bark of the trees his claws so tightly gripped. It was dead quiet. Nibbles looked around. Crap. How was he going to explain this? Trying to look cool and chill, Nibbles rolled his eyes and looked up into the sky. "GOSH MUM! NOT NOW, OKAY?"
Ivorycrown was newer to Primal Instinct, but she'd come to the gathering more out of interest than anything. The she-cat was bitter and heartbroken, something inside her had snapped just after the flood and now she wanted blood for what she'd lost. Primal Instinct was where she believed she'd find this, and was willing to kill anyone who stood in her way. Listening to that crazy child spout out some nonsense, irked her. Just what was he doing? Even she understands that not just anyone was allowed on the tall tree. Rolling her eyes, she searched for Loelie who'd she'd walked here with.
