Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Eeriepaw stretched in her nest and sat up, giving her face a quick wash before going to grab something to eat before training. She stepped carefully around her sleeping denmates and siblings and slipped out of the den, her long fur fluffing up slightly against the chill in the air. She was hadn't been an apprentice for long, but had quickly fallen into the rhythm of training, patrols, hunting, sleeping, repeat. She'd settled into her place in the clan and felt excited for each new experience with her mentor, Spookbat.
Spookbat hadn't been sure about accepting an apprentice but Silverstar and reassured her that it would be fine, as did Snowshod. The two fo them had faith that she could do it, so why shouldn't she? Because, she knew how messed up she was. The warrior had been up all night trying to think of what to teach this apprentice and what they'd gone over. The worry of failure keeping her up along with the shame of disappointing the apprentice, leader, and her mate. Her stomach rumbled, telling her she was hungry, but all she could do was look at the fresh kill pile before her.

The smaller cat leaped up when she spotted Spookbat and tried very hard to look dignified as she practically skipped over. "Morning, Spookbat! What are we doing today?!" She didn't notice her own hunger, instead intent on starting their training as quickly as possible. "I hope it's hunting. I want to catch my first bird today."
Startled, the warrior shrunk back into herself, eyes darting towards the younger cat. "M-morning." What were they doing? StarClan if she knew! Spookbat eyed the pile once more, her stomach aching with hunger and yet she couldn't even think about eating. Hunting sounded okay. Unless they failed. Then they'd have been useless to the clan. "Bi-bird? Why..why a bird?"

Eeriepaw had noted her mentor's stutter and anxiety, but chose to dutifully ignore it, believing that she would still be a decent and fair mentor. "Birds are hard to catch because they fly away. I want to be the best hunter in the entire clan, so I need to catch birds and get really good at it! Can we please hunt?" She bounced a little bit, tail waving excitedly. Her fluffy smoke colored fur was ruffled and unkempt and she looked a bit like a kit with her bouncing but she was too eager to care much for dignity.
Spookbat eyed the bouncing, energetic cat. "I-I suppose...but don't be to upset if you don't catch one." The warrior didn't want her dear apprentice to be too upset when she failed. Even she had a hard time catching birds. Though, that was probably because of her anxiety and fear that they'd turn and attack her.

"Yes!" Eeriepaw bounced around her mentor once out of excitement before calming back down. "Of course I'll catch one! You're teaching me," Eeriepaw trusted Spookbat entirely, wasn't that what you were supposed to do with your mentor? They were want taught you how to be an amazing warrior and Eeriepaw wanted to throw herself into a good relationship with Spookbat.
