Chocolatekit was deep in her plot now, it had started with some light exploring but had quickly dissolved into a plot to break one of the most fundamental rules of the clan. Her mother and siblings were napping but Chocolatekit had taken it upon herself to explore a bit. And, of course, one of the first things said to her was "make sure you stay in camp, kits are to stay here". Something about that rubbed Chocolatekit the wrong way and now here she was, staring intently at the camp entrance and trying to figure out how many cats would notice if she tried to get out.

"Whatcha doing?" Firekit asked as he came up from behind Chocolatekit. He had been watching her from his favorite hiding place, a small bush near the camp wall. He was surprised to see her go so near the camp entrance. Not many kits did so without being reprimanded and chased away.

The other kitten didn't so much as glance behind her as Firekit approached, recognizing the voice as that of one of her denmates. "I think I want to go out there," Chocolatekit replied indifferently, "one of the warriors told me I couldn't." Her tail twitched with excitement at the prospect, "do you want to come?"

"You serious?" Firekit asked. He had wanted to see what was on the other side of the camp walls but never acted upon it before. He looked over his shoulder to see if they were being watched but he didn't see any cat looking there way. "Um, sure if that's what you want." He still wasn't certain if she was serious or not.

"Of course I'm serious!" Chocolatekit exclaimed, spinning around to look at Firekit with earnest eyes, "don't you want to know what's out there?" She asked, pacing around the kit now with her voice low and serious and her tail lashing, "we just need a way out."

"Of course I do!" Firekit meowed. "But keep your voice down. We don't want what we're thinking about doing announced all over the camp!" He looked around cautiously to see if they were indeed overheard. "They'd keep us cooped up in the nursery if they ever found out." A fate worse than death! he thought. "As for getting out ..." He didn't see any way that was viable. The main entrance was out because it was always so busy and the dirt place was too.

Chocolatekit rolled her eyes, seemingly unbothered by being caught, but privately she agreed that she should be a little more quiet. "Behind the nursery maybe?" But something told her the warriors wouldn't allow a breach in the camp exterior to occur by the nursery. "Actually, maybe the medicine cat den? They may have their own way to get in and out?"

"Good thinking!" Firekit replied. "Let's go check behind the medicine den. I've looked at the barrier near the nursery before. It's done up so well I don't even think a mouse could get through it."
