Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Please, remember the admins have lives. And though a lot of people have been responding in a short amount of time, this is not all of Classic.
Komi as Simply says lives like literally 12 hours behind or so. It's night right now where she is. And the others are also busy.
These things take time, we aren't going to be able to snap our fingers and have everything worked out. There will need to be discussion, then voting.
When we discussed moving classic from wikifoundry to proboards we gave 2 weeks of discussion period. I don't know if we'll need as long, but we need to allow time for those at work, those with life going on, or those who turned off to step away because of all that's been happening a chance to speak up and share their thoughts.
Even if we do decide we need to overhaul the clans rather than chip away at the number, it will not be instant or we'll have chaos and people will feel they weren't heard. So please be patient for all your fellow users who might not be on at this particular moment.
Since I haven't addressed clan sizes yet.. I feel like 4-5 Clans and 2-3 Groups would be idea. 6-8 total seems good to me, as 4 seems a bit low imo.
If we do a theme for clans, I'd personally want it to sorta be on biome? Like VolcanoClan, DesertClan, ArcticClan, and JungleClan. Maybe not those exact ones, but ones where each territory is definitively different, and gives room for vastly different lives and ways of doing things.
This is exactly what I'm doing with my site, Risen. I wouldn't mind sacrificing the idea of Risen for the sake of Classic. Risen doesn't have that many members, anyways; it's mostly staff, and the site is far from finished.
Here is Risen's backbone. It's what lays out the foundation for our story. We can just change it to make it fit Warriors as a whole.
Risen is, in some ways, a new concept being introduced into the roleplay community. It is set way in the future, after Earth's overdue continental shift. It all started with a defeaning boom, and then much to the horror of humans and animals alike, the Earth began to crack open and plates began to shift and move. The world, in a sense, went up in flames. Continents disappeared, and in their place came new land, one that pushed together to create what is now known as Pangea 2.0. When the chaos finally settled down, everything was brand new again; it's as if mother Earth hadn't been touched by the humans in the first place. Humans, who were once at the top of the food chain, now lingered at the bottom. Predators and prey alike had dwindled, and all that was left was the strongest and those with insane luck that survived. Two wolves, Achilles and Krishna, banded together to try and repair what was broken; both came from noble packs, and they knew that with order lost, nobody would survive. Anarchy thrived, and it needed to be crushed. Using their talent in persuasion, they managed to form a pack. The pack members decided to name themselves 'Perpetua', wich means eternal in latin. The name comes from their hope to be everlasting, and to survive every storm that is to come their way. Perpetua is the first pack to be born out of the ashes of what was lost.
Also deer , the only problem with banding and making a site is that it was done before and we had very little users to contribute. It was hard managing 4 Clans, which is why it inevitably died down. I myself was a leader during it but after it died out, we all just kind of left it be. The only problem with a new site is that its hard to figure out; plus, it is a bit unfair to the Admins when they havent been given a chance to respond.
We can do something like that with Classic. Have 4 clans and 2 groups. The groups can live in the "capital" (or whatever we decide to name it) and the outlands, whereas the clans will live in the forest, the desert, the jungle, and the arctic.

I am in no way shape or form bashing the admins, it was only a question. We can all agree on something collectively but without them what can we do?
When they do get on I would like to see some of their thoughts on what has been discussed and hopefully find that some progress has been made in closing the rift in all of this.
Agreed tbh. I’m curious what’ll be said and if anyone will agree.

LOL I don't think we'll have to create any more new sites because it looks like a majority is for a change c: I mean, we'll see, but I do think tides are turning.

will everyone shoot down oceanclan if the reboot does get voted in? because i'll make a different one if everyone's going to be mad about my ocean

I support an overhaul if no individual is given credit for a clan. If all names are decided by everyone, if the people who lead are not the creators by just the next leader.
I am personally starting to shift from against it to just not caring if it happens or not. Since returning i have put so much work into doing what I can to solve the new member problem and bringing wic back up. And after all that work its for nothing. So i think I dont care either way. I did care. but when the majority has pretty much made up their mind, my oppinion and feelings dont matter. because im not the majority and thats fine.
I just think if it happens it has to happen with carefuly put together surveys and votes as to avoid major fallout because of our human aspects.

I agree with Prim’s idea, that it’s all very unbiasedly done and everything is put to a vote, so that everyone’s opinion matters. The clans that are chosen, the staff of the clans, etc. All nominations and votes.

I really like the idea of a water based clan(maybe it’s my love for riverclan in the main series lol) but yeah, I love island clans. The groups could be off the island in the mainland, in their own little area idk.
EDIT;: oml yes each of them has their own little island that’s wonderful!!!!!!! How did I not think of that???
