Latifoliaspring sat in the center of camp her fluffy ginger and cream tail wrapped around her paws as she contemplated the day and the tasks yet to be done. There was a gap in the elders den that they kept arguing over who has to sleep next to it and its bitter breeze at night. There was a leek in the warriors den that she just coudlnt stand for and the nursery needed new bedding. She sighed and looked around for an apprentice. If it was just her luck she would have to do it herself.
The deputy smiled warmly. "I'd be glad to help. Most of the apprentices are out training right now so that the warriors can have some time to themselves."
