Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Most didn't realise it, but being a kit in this day and age was hard. The nursery was pretty crowded these days, meaning that you'd often get a kick in the face during the night and be woken up; your nest could be closer to the back, meaning that by the time you got to the fresh-kill pile in the morning, all the kits with nests closer to the entrance than yours had already taken all the good food; worst of all, though, was the sheer disrespect.
"But I'm telling you, I'm not going to do anything out there that y'all don't already do-" Fawnkit whined, but it was too late. The warrior had already dumped her unceremoniously back into the nursery, her adventure just outside of camp having been rudely cut short. "Typical," she muttered, feeling her cheeks heat up in embarrassment. "It's not like I'll die if I go outta camp or anything..."
Duskwing snorted from her spot still wrapped around her kits who were getting close to being initiate aged, the kits asleep. "You'd be surprised. Plenty of cats get into trouble when they leave camp. It's just a fact." She muttered. "Why I used to have plenty of family, now it's just me and my little darlings," She looked down at her kits. "All that remains of my kin."
Soaringbird shook her head. "Don't be so fatalistic Duskwing, it's true that the world outside is dangerous though," She said turning her attention to focus on Fawnkit. "We're just trying to make sure we keep you safe until you're big enough to start learning how to handle the dangers the outside world can sometimes poise."
