Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Hidden away from the gathering place, but close enough to still hear faint murmurs of the cats voices the league cats had been oddly enough left to have their own sort of fun. While the clan cats held their petty dramas and little spats they monsters the league created would be making their own sort of fun. "Not for this no. Innocentia will still have to find us someone younger perhaps." Mother spoke in response to Funk's question. Which in turn answered Senescence's question as well, "this one could just use to learn some... manners." She hummed with a barley veiled mixture of glee. "But we'll need him to be quiet if Senescence is to have her fun." This was directed towards Funk, the Nemesis obviously wanting him to make it so they could ruin the young Janus, only 7 moons old, in peace.
Silkenwraith looked between the three cats that now surrounded him, sneering at them. "You won't do anything. Not when the clans are right over there." He hissed, almost a dare as he waved his tail towards where the clan cats were still gathered. Still young, the janus barley had any real training and still to much pride to even think anything could happen to him. Even surrounded by three older cats that carried the scent of shadows and death.
"Once Funk shuts his impudent mouth I'd like you to make an example of him Senescene, I'd like him still alive in the end though. Then we'll dump him in the river, or a lake, or whatever body of water they must have around here to drown. Or be saved if anyone notices he's missing, but I think it more likely he'll drown knowing no one cared to notice his absence and investigate" Mother hummed peering down at the young tom and then to her Internal Affairs proxy. Who played all sorts of roles, the only proxy Mother E'tani had inherited rather than picked herself. If Elyon was here Mother would have the assassin help the proxy as well. It could serve a good learning experience having her torture a tom and then dump the body.
Is that so? Silverstreak ignored the snide comments Littlebird made and continued on. That will be dealt with later. He dipped his head to the proxy leader, slightly, out of respect of the position, rather than the cat who holds it. "I am Silverstar," he greeted. "And I have a few questions for you. regarding the moon being missing on this night. What did your god do?" he questioned. He decided to leave out the fact that Moon God and he were connected to one another. "For something like to happen, it had to have been the work of your god."
PRIMAL INSTINCT "How much of an example are we talking?" Senescence asked, extending the claws on one paw lazily. "Broken limbs, maiming, permanent disabilities. I'd recommend giving me limits, otherwise he'll be just barely alive and may or may not have the ability to talk, walk, see, balance, or overall function again." @blankslate
PRIMAL INSTINCT "Lets not permanently ruin him." She hummed in thought as she examined the young tom. "What fun would it be if we didn't leave him well enough to come try and get 'revenge some day or some other silly little nonsense." She stepped closer to the gray tabby and meant his fierce glare with a silent raised eyebrow, judging him. "Lets aim for lots and lots of pain and maybe a broken limb. But nothing too debilitating. We'll scar him mentally and I suppose physically and then leave him to either save himself or die in the water." She instructed the proxy glancing up towards the scared feline. "Perhaps you can make him into you." It was hard to tell if it was a slight or just a passing compliment towards her skills when the nemesis held no expression to her features. Perhaps a simply empty comment driven by her visions of the pain the proxy could cause the young cat and what a stress relief it would be to Mother E'tani. Honeystorm

PRIMAL INSTINCT
"I only said three words..." Funk whispered to himself, dropping his neck to the ground and letting the basket rest there. Pulling out a big swath of cobwebs, he started wrapping them into a makeshift gag. They were old and not particularly sticky, perfect for a task like this. "I can put him to sleep, but I have a feeling you would rather him be awake." He said simply, surprisingly taking it down a notch from usual, not quite feeling like getting on the she-cats bad sides yet. Innocentia better hurry up. This was a nice distraction, but Funk was too invested in their prank to let it go. Finishing the final pull, he now had what appeared to be a loop made entirely of cobwebs. Rolling it into an 8 shape and then bringing the loops together so it would fit around the apprentice looking tom's head, he turned to Senescence, "Just keep him still while I get this on. Then he's all yours." Silkenwraith had too much of his senses still there for Funk to get any enjoyment out of it. @blankslate Honeystorm
MoonClan Crimsonrose's whiskers twitched. "It's all right, you're looking well Innocentia, how's my daughter Elyon doing?" She asked not bothering to beat around the bush. Though she remained polite. From what she'd gleaned Innocentia was close to Elyon, and she hoped she could offer a good bit of information about her daughter now being the assassin of the league.
Flame had followed her league to the gathering, her muscles rippling under her ginger fur. Her turquoise eyes held a danger that was never there before when she was a clan cat. She decided she would avoid Moonclan and Nightclan the best that she could. Even if her friend, Frozenfire, tried to talk to her. She didnt want the league cats to think she was being disloyal. Starclan knows what Scenescence would do to her if she betrayed the league. Her cold gaze scanned the clearing for her sister, Pinesong, and her brother, Timberfrost, to see if they were here. She didn't really want to talk to them either. Pinesong was already disappointed in her. Was her mother and father here too? Then her eyes locked onto her mother, Silvershine, of Moonclan. Maybe she wouldnt notice Flame. The ginger she-cat pressed back toward the outskirts of the crowd, shrinking into the shadows.

SUNCLAN "Of course it was" Littlebird shrugged, rather bothered by the moon not being in the sky "As I have already stated several times, The Sun God told us over a moon ago that tonight the moon would not appear and that we were to celebrate his victory over his brother before his eventual return. The moon is embarrassed of his most recent defeat at the hands of the sun, and it will take some time before he is ready to show his face once more" While her clan hadn't really done anything to the moon, it was the explanation that had been given to them "As always happens in the eternal war, the moon will appear once it is time"
Silverstar gave an incredulous look. There must be more to it than that. The Moon doesnt just get "embarrassed" and just up and disappear. Something must be in the works I dont know about. "I suppose so," he said reluctantly. Soon enough, his time will come and will be the Sun who will not rise for some time. SunClan was irritating per usual. Clearly the answers he was looking for weren't there. He shrugged it off and looked for his deputy.
Windchaser approached Littlebird, her green eyes narrowed. "Why didn't you say anything, then? Letting the whole forest panic, instead?" She didn't trust the Sun God but the least Littlebird could have done was warn the rest of the forest.

Sunclan
Littlebird couldn’t help but to chuckle at the She-cat’s question “would you have believed us if we had?” She paused, slightly amused “As soon as I brought up the Sun God, non believers would have dismissed it. Besides, it’s not as if the moon disappearing for a night is a big catastrophe that the clans needed to be warned about”
I'm a mess, I'm sorry. Chim huffed, smiling tentatively as Doestar seemed to recover from... whatever had set him off. "At least it isn't me for once," he muttered under his breath, meaning it as a joke, but feeling a little guilty it was true. It was a terrible thought, but he was almost relieved to see he wasn't the only broken one. His gaze averted at the affection between the other two leaders, but he stayed close to them this time. He wasn't going anywhere, moon or no moon.
The leader glanced up to see MoonClan had joined them in the time since they had left. "Finally some answers," he suggested. If anyone knew what the disappearing moon meant it had to be the clan that worshiped it. If they didn't know, then as far as Chim was concerned, there was no need to worry.
"You must be tired," Wildhunt mewed sympathetically as he approached Pygmyprawn. "Your clan isn't usually up at this hour, are they? But I suppose strange times breed strange habits." He glanced up at the sky like he expected the moon to suddenly reappear, then shook his head slightly and returned his startling blue eyes to the other warrior. Tall and slender with thick white fur and a kind face, the NightClan warrior had a gentle non-threatening look, nor did he look too concerned about the cosmic event. He stepped toward her then paused, tilting his head with a soft smile. "Do you mind if I sit with you? I don't want to intrude if you were looking to be alone."

The tom scowled angrily as he padded past the gossiping cats, his annoyance very clear in his expression. "So many of you don't understand the ill omen this could easily bring upon us. The moon exists alongside the sun and vise versa, it's a balance the two of them bring and all it could possibly mean is something has occurred to upset that fragile balance," he spoke, not caring about those who over heard as he approached his leader, "Cats of other clans should be more mindful of what this could mean then staying busy making fun of a clan whose mindset was right."

Waterclan Oh great. Now I have to actually be social. Pygmyprawn wasn't the best at hiding a grimace, but she attempted as the Nightclan warrior addressed her. She let out a snort and shook her head. "I guess you could say that about the others. I'm used to late nights." Truthfully, she couldn't think of a time that she slept through the night. Her insomnia kept her wide awake most nights and then discomfort the others. As he stepped closer, she could feel her cheeks grow hot in embarrassment. No one ever wanted to join her. She was a freak of nature to most other cats outside of her new clan. Even there she wasn't fully accepted. It was strange for him to be so willing. "No, it's fine." She mumbled, sweeping her tail to the side so he could sit. Her eyes flicked towards the spot Chimerastar had been a moment before, but it was too dark to see him anymore. Sighing, the speckled warrior wrapped her tail around her body as if it could keep out the hidden hurt.
Wildhunt was perceptive -- he noticed immediately she didn't seem thrilled to see him, though he wasn't sure if it was his company she disliked or if she just had someone else in mind. She didn't chase him off, though, so he sat down beside her with a polite distance between them. The young warrior had never seen someone that looked quite like her, and he was curious despite himself. "You must have good eyes, then, to see only by the moonlight. Sometimes I wonder if I've spent too much time away from the sun, it stings my eyes sometimes if I go out in the bright of day." He grinned. He couldn't say he minded the cool, refreshing darkness of the night. "It's a lot harder to see without the moon, though. Do you think it'll come back?"
JetclawCleaver @peepingpeeper Doestar smiled at Chim, small and soft, and opened his mouth to say something when Flickerflame came bounding up. “Flick!” he exclaimed, too excited at seeing his brother to care whether or not he saw him with tears drying on his cheeks; it wouldn’t be the first time, anyway. He leaped forward and nuzzled under his chin, closing his eyes and letting out a purr at the familiar scent. “I’m fine, I’m fine, no worse than usual.”
He glanced over his shoulder with a smile. “Flick, this is Chim— uh, Chimerastar and Shadedstar, of WaterClan and SpringClan. They’ve replaced you because I haven’t seen you for so long.” He grinned, eyes alight with happiness, before he remembered the darkness and the missing moon. “Are you okay? What do you think is happening? Has StarClan spoken to NightClan? Surely of all clans, they’d speak first to us—uh, you.”
PRIMAL INSTINCT
Faith Eshek followed along with Lucistic’s antics, growing more and more disconcerted and annoyed; she’d never seen her friend so worried — never seen him worried at all, really — and it scared her more than she could say. When he moved them again for the hundredth time, she glanced over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of a blue-furred cat through the darkness.
Letting out a frustrated, anxious hiss, she lost her patience and slammed Lucistic against a tree trunk, paws pressed into his collarbone. “What is going on?” she hissed, scarcely able to see anything but his glowing green eyes through the blackness. “You’re freaking me out.” That was putting it lightly; she was terrified for him, frightened that something could happen and he’d suddenly be out of her life. She’d never truly realised how much she’d grown to rely on and need him until she thought she might lose him.
He nodded. "Agreed," he replied. "SunClan couldnt give a valid reason, except that they 'knew this would happen for months now'." He rolled his eyes, his patience wearing thin. He looked up toward the dark sky. Its only a matter of time. You shouldnt be gone for too long.
Yuccablossom really couldn't tell what was going on. The moon was gone. Most, if not all of the clans and groups were here. And...that was it? Mostly it felt like the leaders were just socializing; she had seen her own earlier chatting with the Summerclan leader. Dayclan was here too, which meant there was a good chance of seeing her father or brother Zephyrglade, but with such a large crowd... The fluffy tortoiseshell hissed when someone stepped on her tail, stumbling forward and colliding with her mother. But Gravelshell didn't seem to notice. Her gaze was focused at the sea of cats around them, as if seeing something her daughter couldn't. "Go try to find your brother." Yuccablossom's brow furrowed in confusion. "And where are you going? You're lucky Chimerastar even let an elder come to this gathering!" Her protests came on deaf ears, while she watching helplessly as her mother disappeared into the crowd.
Something was wrong. Perhaps that was just how well Gravelshell knew her mate, or maybe she had finally gone insane like her brother always joked about. But she couldn't deny what she was feeling. There's no way he wouldn't be here; not with his mother, mate, and kits here. He shouldbe here, she was sure of it. The former leader shoved her way indiscriminately past every cat that stood in her way, until she finally reached the edge of the clearing. What she saw made her stomach drop in her chest.
A young, pretty she-cat she didn't recognize, pinning her beloved mate against a tree.
Gravelshell's first impulse was to furiously charge in without hesitation, and be Leucistic's knight in shining armor as she usually was. But the sudden scent of Primal Instinct stopped her dead in her tracks. Not for the fact that it was there, but because no other clan scents were. Her nose itched to catch the scent of Dayclan coming from her mate, where he was supposed to be, but there was nothing but Primal Instinct in front of her. Her sharp, amber eyes narrowed as she stared daggers at the pair, her expression seemingly emotionless, but one of those two cats would notice something else in her gaze: disappointment.
"I hope I'm not interrupting? I'd hate to ruin such an intimate moment."
Leucisticcrow fought with himself a little trying to decide what words to use. Everything he'd ever been taught was telling him to lie to her and never stop lying so it took him biting his cheek and staring into Eshek's eyes to decide on the right words to say, "Years ago my heart was infiltrated by an angel and I worshiped her like a mythological Goddess. Only translation to that is that I fell in love with the leader of WaterClan and instead of doing my part like every tom in the league does I didn't knock her up and take her kits or abandon her. I stayed with her and I never stopped staying with her and I wasn't smart enough to leave home so I just sort of been living in two places at once. And by sort of I mean, I have absolutely been doing that to the point that I actually have a grandson and I don't need people to know that Leucistic is Lucistic," He said even though they were pronounced exactly the same and it made no difference.
"I hope I'm not interrupting? I'd hate to ruin such an intimate moment."
His head swerved to meet Gravelshell's hazel gaze as she approached closer to the two of them, "That's her," He said, his expression softening at the mere sight of her before looking back at Eshek and moving out of her grip from the tree, "If you're an interruption I hope you never stop. Gravelshell this is Eshek the cat I've talked to you about who loves to torment like I do."
He turned to look at Eshek, "Eshek this is my mate Gravelshell and, I'd really like you to know her if you'd be willing to give my family a chance," Lucistic said nervously.
"She's succeeding well, I helped her claim her rightful place as assassin," Innocentia said evenly, almost a bit distantly, but her yellow eyes seemed to warm up the more she talked to Crimsonrose. She knew her own mom did her best with her and with age she realized that her mom hadn't chosen her to be shaman because she purely wasn't ready. In the long run her mom had done what she could for her, but she was a problematic kit. She appreciated that Crimsonrose didn't give up and never made her kits felt given up on. It was a hopeless feeling and couldn't be easy always being there all the time.
DAYCLAN
Zephyrglade noticed Yuccablossom and raced over to her, "I lost track of dad again," He said before spotting his mom, "Nooope, mom found him."
"So true, like I believe in the Sun God, but I'd think SunClan was full of it if they said the moon would vanish. I'd also never believe that you guys are the party animals of the forest, look at this, this is a-mazing!" Glowstar said enthusiastically with a wave of her paw. She looked to Silverstar, "Hey, are you um... Enjoying the party too?" She asked even though she knew he probably was. But she wanted to try and be friendly with him, even if NightClan didn't particularly like MoonClan and SunClan definitely didn't. It probably wasn't a good look for her to associate with them, but she never liked judging a clan especially when they had a new clan leader.
