Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
“Greetings, Flick! Nice to meet you!” He dipped his head respectfully to the new tom—Doestar’s brother. “Don’t worry, I don’t think we would be able to replace you.” He purred, giving Chimerastar a sideways glance. He wasn’t too fond of the other leader, Shadedstar found, which seemed quite unreasonable, really. Maybe it was the tiny knot of jealousy in the pit of his stomach—jealousy you shouldn’t have, Shadedstar! It was just a couple nights, nothing more—or maybe he didn’t like his overall vibe. Sounding a soft “Hm,” Shadedstar sat himself down beside Doestar, his tail twitching slightly.
“Do they have answers yet? StarClan knows I couldn’t figure out a prophecy if my life depended on it.”
He turned his head and gave the she-cat a friendly smile, hiding his annoyance for the whole event. "Of course not," he responded. "But I'm not too worried at the moment. You must be Glowstar, I presume?" He looked the Nightclan leader over, etching the cat into his memory. He was curious, however. SunClan's behavior was expected but the other clans seemed to be reluctant to interact with them. He didnt know much about MoonClan relations, admittedly, apart from what he was taught as a young cat. What all happened before I became leader? Silverstar surely didnt like that MoonClan was disliked but hopefully, under his leadership, their standing with their peers will change.
“Look at the sky Windchaser, that should be all the proof you need of his honesty” she returned in kind “What he claimed has happened, and yet you all stand around gawking at the sky, scratching your heads like it’s a mystery” the she-cat shook her head slightly looking between the two DayClan cats “It is no different than the omens you receive from StarClan that you take so seriously, at least our God just tells us instead of giving thinly veiled words that may or may not happen the way you think they might. When the moon returns to the night sky tomorrow, you will see how silly this whole charade has been when you could have been having a good time”
FaithGidgetGal Eshek’s first reaction was betrayal. She’d thought she’d been close enough to her friend — her best friend in the League, really, from her point of view — to have been able to be a confidante in something like this, to have been trusted. Her second reaction was anger and disgust at herself — he’d been missing for days at a time, come home probably stinking of the Clans, had an entire family and lived an entire other life, and she hadn’t noticed? And he had kits? How could she not have realised something was off? What was wrong with her? Her third reaction was swift — anger at him for being so stupid as to put his life on the line and not even tell her — but her last reaction was the one that stuck with her the most: protectiveness. Now that he’d told her, she wasn’t going to let anything happen to him because of it.
In that moment, she knew she would die for her friend and his stupid secret. Even if he’d only told her because he had no other option; she liked to think he’d have confided in her sooner or later. And she really couldn’t blame him — there was something so touching and honourable about the whole mess and, to a hopeless, reckless romantic like her, it made her melt a little. It made sense, now that she thought about it — even she, the most dedicated hater of toms in the forest, could see his appeal, and she’d wondered vaguely once or twice why he hadn’t taken advantage of all the she-cats that no doubt wouldn’t have minded a night with him.
She felt herself softening when another voice piped up behind them. Eshek had been about to snap something back at the nameless she-cat, something nasty and off-hand and demeaning, because the last thing she needed at that moment was some Clan cat stumbling in where they didn’t belong. She hadn’t taken her eyes off Lucistic, muzzle almost pressed against his, when he wriggled out from under her and... began to speak to the she-cat. Gush, actually, in a way that made even her gag a little. She turned on stiff legs, distrust making her ears flatten against her head, and eyed the she-cat warily as Lucistic introduced her. It was strange to think he had been discussing her with his mate when she hadn’t even known said mate existed at all.
But Gravelshell clearly meant the world to her friend, and Eshek had already committed herself to keeping this secret — she was in far too deep to back out now, and she wasn’t sure she even wanted to. And, so, she’d do her best to accept and protect the she-cat and care for her as a weird in-law. As far as Eshek was concerned, this she-cat was now under just as much protection as she could offer as proxy as Lucistic was; she was, for better or for worse, family. “Gravelshell,” Eshek replied at last, a little awkward as she dipped her head and glanced uncertainly at Lucistic for guidance. Her head was still spinning. “You, uh... this idiot here... you chose a real pain in the rear for a mate, I hope you know that.” She hit her friend’s shoulder with her paw and glared at him, like an annoyed sibling; she was still angry at him. “But it would... be an honour to know his family. Your secret is safe with me. I don’t know why I’m talking like this, I guess I’m nervous because you sprung this on me, you stupid furball.” She sat back on her hind legs and punctuated each word by batting at any part of Lucistic she could reach; but she was smiling again, albeit a little irritably, and the blows were affectionately playful.
“Do you— so— you have kits? Real, live kits? Like, with names and everything? Do you have a different name? Can I meet them? This is wild. This is all so incredibly wild and I hate you.” She flopped onto her back, staring up at the star-specked night sky through the black branches of the trees. “God, Innocentia is going to eat me alive if she finds out I knew and didn’t tell her. Which I won’t. This is just... I love you both but I hate you. Wow.” She let out a disbelieving laugh and shook her head, staring up at the stars with an open-mouthed half-grin and letting out little quiet breaths of laughter every now and again. “Wow.” She sat up. “Hey, maybe I could come along one day, meet everyone, sneak around, have a big day out with a new name and everything. Y’know, between torturing lil’, harmless kittypets.” She glanced at Gravelshell and smiled, trying to provoke some sort of reaction and gauge just how much she knew of their life. The question was genuine, though; she really did want to be as much a part of Lucistic’s life as he and his mate were willing to allow — she wanted to discover the world he lived in and cared for, even if she didn’t entirely understand it.
SUMMERCLAN
Doestar smiled appreciatively at Shadedstar beside him, stupidly happy that he’d been so warm and welcoming towards his brother; he felt another burst of fondness for the other leader. He didn’t notice the look he cast at Chim and turned back to Flickerflame with a worried expression, the smile fading like it had never been.
Pygmyprawn let out a huff of air and pointed with her tail to her eyes. "Have you seen these things? I wonder if the moon just popped itself right into my skull." Ugh. How annoying. I'm being friendly to this rando. Despite her thoughts, she really didn't mind Wildhunt's company. At least his talking was getting her mind off... well, you know who. What a lousy friend, leaving me in a gathering like this to go gallivanting with some Summerclan leader. Still, she couldn't be mad at him, as much as she truly wanted to. Her gaze wandered to the sky and she let out a little 'hm.' "It is curious. It's like the sky is...lonelier...now. Gives me the heebie jeebies. I love the night, but the moon keeps just a bit of light in to make you feel safe." She shivered as she imagined the clan's territories, abandoned in the pitch black void. It made her feel so small and vulnerable that she couldn't help but scooch a bit closer to the white warrior beside her.
"Ill never have fun with Sunclan cats" Windchaser growled. "The moon missing is just not natural. What if this is a sign? What if it means something terrible will happen? And your celebrating?"

Littlebird shrugged "suit yourself Windchaser" she turned her back to the gathering group "If you all will excuse me, I have some business to attend to" with that she walked over to where the Soothsayer has been waiting impatiantly. Something was bothering her, but with all the leaders accusing SunClan of being behind the moon's disappearance she hadn't had much of a chance. She let her tail gently tap Twilightbell on the shoulder as she joined her at the edge of the crowd "Now what is on your mind?" she whispered. fadedecho

SUNCLAN
Dovepool had been sitting among the shadows, she had no interest in conversing with the others preferring to just watch the interactions between the clans and groups. She moved her gaze from the clusters of felines and up to the dark sky, her mind was still reeling about the sudden vanishing act of the moon but the longer she thought about it the more frustrated she got that she could not figure it out.
