Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Just wanted to post here to say hi and that I'm looking forward to being a part of this community. I'm currently 20, in college, and on summer break so I've been a bit bored recently. I used to RP often when I was younger and I thought I should maybe try it again, since it was such a riot back in the day (:
My main interests include drawing, reading, watching horror movies, and currently I've been into watching a bit of anime ( i guess all my hobbies form back in the day are resurfacing ). There's something so nice about getting back into something I really enjoyed in the past, it's quite refreshing. I've been watching Kakegurui on Netflix and so that's been a current fave of mine, as well as going back and watching some old favorites.
As for books, I'm super down to read anything and I'm currently reading the Night Circus which is turning out to be an amazing book so far. I really like harry potter, the hunger games, and many other books out there. As for horror movies, I love almost anything that's spooky and scary.

What’s your major in college? I’m curious. I’m an athletic training major going into my last year. Also have you watch the seven deadly sins on Netflix? It’s an anime that’s pretty good. My roommate and I watched it twice together this last year.

pao - I will look into earthclan, it seems like a cool group. I'm a history major with a childhood education concentration. I've switched my major around a few times though but I think I got it right this time. I was doing social work before but I decided it wasn't for me, college is confusing sometimes lol. I haven't seen 7 deadly sins but I've heard about it so I've been meaning to watch it for a while.
My roommate and I loved it! One of my friends is a social worker major and she loves it but I think she switched to that I’m not sure. College is absolutely confusing. I’ve switch to solely an AT major instead of being pre-physical therapy double major because the counseler for the PT major kept changing the requirements on me and I no longer liked that aspect of the major since it’s more clinical based and what I’m doing now is more emergency medicine. So I’m gonna stick with being the athletic training that runs out when people get hurt in football games.
I'll have to check it out then, I've been meaning to find more anime to watch in my free time. There's a lot of people at my college who do athletic training and majors like that and it seems cool, I'm not very good at medical stuff and last semester I took A&P and nearly died. I had a part time job as a youth mentor at a mental health organization and so I thought Social Work was the path for me, but its a path I'm just not in a place to go down, ya know?

Hey Ghost! I'm actually a early childhood education teacher, if you ever need any help I teach at a day care with 3-4 year olds. My original major was in elementary education, but I love the freedom I get working in daycare. As long as the kids are learning and I can prove it, I can kind of teach whatever I want.

It’s not for everyone. I mean my AT class started sophomore year (which is basically when we actually start the program) with 14 of us. Going into our senior year there are 7 of us and only four of us are still AT and the other three dropped to sports medicine with one having dropped mid semester last year for personal reason and I’m not sure if she’s coming back but if she does she’ll be a sports medicine major too. .
racer - Thank you so much!! 3-4 year olds are cute but gosh they have energy, it's awesome to have such freedom though. I would love to rp sometime
pao - Wow that's such a small amount of people from what it started as. I'm currently going into my junior year but since I switched so late I'm probably gonna have to take an extra year to finish the degree but that's just how it be. Once it's over I'll be happy though, college is fun but its a lot. I'm super thankful for summer break.
Same. Are majors moving to graduate program due to its difficulty. We have to get Bs or Bette roe were dropped along with 360 clinical hours by the end of the year. It’s a little insane. I take the BOC this year which is our boards and I feel nowhere near ready.
