Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
So to keep it simple and as awkward as I am; this is me trying to say hello...so hello fellow writers and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I'm not extroverted in the slightest so forgive me if this post lacks a little luster.
First and foremost my RP experience is about 10+ years (with breaks on and off). As a writer I am flexible on post lengths, sometimes I write just a few paragraphs, or full length posts. It really just depends on the situation of the scene and varies on inspiration (but at least a paragraph minimum. I can never go back to one-liners). I tend to match my partner, so if you respond with a shorter response you'll most likely see a shorter responses from me, same with longer responses, depth of detail, and so on.
Contrary to how I may come across when you get to know me, I do like making new friends, I'm just terrible at initiating conversation, other than that I consider myself pretty open. I actually welcome any chit chat - especially about any of the clans/groups. I have one in mind, but am still slowly looking through the others.
Anyways starting at a slow pace but anything else you want to know, just feel free to ask. I don't bite.
Other ice breaking info: Some of my likes include, harry potter, some anime, mythology, korean variety shows, friends, marvel & dc.
I have decided I am attaching myself to you like a burr and claiming you as my own. So hi I'm the new nuisance in your life. I also like to paragraph rp should the situation allow it but will match my partner as well. Which makes it sound like you and I would be writing novels if we rp'd together should I be into the character and plot enough.
I like mythology as well, though I jump around on what I'm focusing on. Right now it's norse cause Neil Gaiman released a book on norse mythology awhile ago that I bought but am just getting to reading now. I know the stories but his writing is always nice so I figured I'd reread through them if only to see the spin and characterization he puts into them. I'm a fan of the korean variety show 'what's in my refrigerator' but that's the only one I keep up with really.
Currently I'm hanging out in PI so if you ever want to stop by and rp let me know and we can write a novel. Though I am working on branching out just got to get motivation to write character bios. ooph.

I'm curious what other roleplays have you dabbled in? I've been rping since I was 12, started with warriors and shifted to other series as time went on. My last big thing before getting back to warriors was a multiverse one, I have a lot of different series I like so a lot of different characters I enjoy playing XP. Who's your favorite Marvel character?
I should also introduce myself! I am Jetclaw, the Activity Admin, I play Burningstar leader of NightClan, and Softpelt the FallClan medicine cat, along with other cats I'm in a lot of the groups, but I'm primarily focused in NightClan, FallClan, SunClan, WaterClan and PI at the moment. I tend to ebb and flow, but NightClan's a constant one for me.
I'm glad to hear you like your paragraph and long posts. I look forwards to roleplaying with you, I enjoy a bit of long posting myself if the situation allows but mostly I match. (other times I write small novels, as some of my previous roleplaying partners can atest).
Hello!!!!!!! reading your post was like reading my biography almost. I'm Stark, and I'm honestly excited to RP with you. I'm currently focusing on RR right now but I have cats in other clan's too. As you can probably guess I REALLY like Marvel. I'm also really into the different types of mythos as well. If you ever want to chat I'm almost always on so, feel free to pester at any time. I really enjoy talking to people I'm just usually shy and always feel like I'm bothering everyone. XD
@blankslate: Haha well I welcome the nuisance, so happy to have you. I probably focus more on the greeks or romans when it comes to mythos but I do love learning about the other ones, and I'm definitely a fan of Neil Gaiman and his works. As for korean variety I don't think I've seen that show. I mostly endulge myself in Runningman. As for rping PI is definitely on my radar. I'd be more than happy to make a character there - I can't say I don't love a good dark character.
Jetclaw: I haven't done anything wild, besides this I've done humans/modern fantasy. One reason why I stopped rping was that my partners kind of just faded away. Right now I'm actually thinking of joining nightclan with a kit I'm working on - Siriuskit[king]. Then I have another character who I haven't decided on [Rigel].
@stark: It's nice to meet you. I don't know much about RR but it seemed interesting. Overall I'm still unsure about which groups to join, but hopefully I'll come up with something soon. As for Marvel, its always nice to talk to another fan. So from your name and profile pic is Iron Man your favorite?
Iron Man is absolutely my fave but, I'm also in love with Doctor Strange. It's great to meet you too! RR is actually loosely Military structured. they live in underground tunnels below some clan's territory but I can't remember which right now. oops It's great to meet you too. I completely responded to everything backwards I just realized XDD
Yeah who doesn't love a good greek story about falling in love with your reflection, favorite of mine. And ah yes runningman, I watch some episodes occasionally when it catches my interest that's a fun show. I think they tried to make an American version at some point but I might be imagining that. If you make one let me know we can do a nitty and gritty plot if you want to. Have you watched Good Omens? I never read the book but I watched the show and now I'm thinking I should read the book, because just from the narration in the show, which I think they read straight from the book, it seems like he did an amazing story there. Not that he doesn't do good writing but I love the concept he did in the book and I think it's on kindle unlimited right now.
@stark: Yes Doctor Strange is a good one, I personally don't know if I have a favorite at the moment though. It's been awhile since I've watched any Marvel so I'd have to rewatch and refresh myself to see who I like now. Hm..I'll have to think about RR some more but still sounds very interesting, and its all good, I still understood everything.
@blank: I know they did king of masked singing but I don't think I ever heard of an American version of Runningman. Regardless if you have a nitty gritty plot you want to do in PI I'd be happy to make a cat just for that, otherwise I might have an idea for a cat, but still unsure - and I haven't seen good omens or read the book, I heard it's pretty good though from my dad. I also have been meaning to watch American gods too by him. I met him only once but he's worked on a few things that I've loved.
that might be what I was thinking about now that you say it. right now I don't have much in mind for my characters, I kind of come up with plots based around two characters bios usually. I mean I have Houdini who needs some sort of development but I haven't even written his bio yet so not rushed on him. I need to make other new PI characters as well tonight I repeat from earlier; ooph. And I watched episode one of American gods because Brian Fuller who worked on Hannibal directs that show as well. And I loved Hannibal, and I'm still mad nbc canceled it. I liked it, meant to go back and finish honestly, but have never gotten around to it. you know how it is.
The character I have in mind right now for a PI cat is inspired by the Greeks Thanatos...though still unclear of the direction I want to take him. I never watched Hannibal but I've seen clips of it online. I just haven't had the motivation to watch it yet. Anyways I was looking through your character thread and beside PI I noticed you had quite a few characters in Brook. It's one of the clans that interest me so I was wondering what you though of it?
Right now the groups that interest me the most right now are Night, Brook, Winter and PI

I have cat in Absum Lux that’s named Pluto, he’s inspired by Hades’ Roman form and the High Sage of the group. He just had kits and doesn’t know what to do with them or his apprentice. He’s awkward and likes death. (Pss one of his daughter is still available if you want her. Her name is Erinyes after one of Hades’ daughters in mythology )
Sorry, my interest was peaked at the words mythology. So I butted in. Hi my names Pao. I’m always open to role play. I’ve got cats in BrookClan, Absum Lux, EarthClan, FallClan, WinterClan, SunClan, MoonClan... I think that’s all of them? Idk. But! I’m happy to role pant where every you have cats that I do! I have cats available too that are apart of a family of wanna join a family that’s already made.
Brook is my baby, a lot of my cats were somehow involved in the original royal line because I helped make the monarchy system and wrote a lot of the old lore. BUt I am moving a lot of the brook cats around and deleted some. So Sasha, Grigoriy, Amadeus they're all from the Ranveig line which no longer holds any power but in the past ruled. Sasha and Grigoriy are leaving to travel around the clans though with Anastasia, Grigoriy's mother and Sasha's sister who was the first Tsar of Brookclan and fled after their other brother Rasputin poisoned their father and led a coup against her. Changeling is from another royal line, his grandfather the brother to the monarch that led before they even came to brookclan who fled after the Ranveig family killed most of them. Changeling has returned to brook just to luxuriate about and see the place his grandfather told him stories about. Amadeus is Sasha's son a product of an arranged affair Sasha had despite being gay because he felt it was his duty to carry on the Ranveig line. So yeah brook is a super awesome place to be. My most interesting characters are brook and pi. They both have the backstabbing dark plots, and dark twists to their stories.
but yeah Amadeus, Strigoi, and Changeling are the only ones I have in brook right now. I promise i'm updating my character thread right now.
Proxy tryouts are open in PI if you want to tryout for those with him and rp some to get inspiration on where you want to take him before finalizing? Or if you'd like we could play off the myth? He could be involved in Mother E'tani's backstory if you'd like? Before she came to PI she escaped a vicious fight and perhaps while she lay almost dying your cat comes across her [not a nonviolent death but creative liberties are being employed. ] and she thinks he's death to take her away? But he leaves and she eventually heals but he lingers around because she was so convinced he was her death? idk, it depends on the personality angle you'll be going with. Or perhaps he could have been a member of the original group she was involved in? [she ended up killing all the kits under her charge because they killed the one she actually cared for. maybe he could meet her when she's burying their bodies?]
@ Fox: Hi, it's nice to meet you and I'll keep that in mind. I don't have to much planned yet, but I do have some projects I'm working on.
@ Pao: Thank you for the offer but I think I'll pass right now. I have quite a few projects already but maybe another time. Brook is definitely high on the list of places I'd like to try rping though.
