Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She didn't want to admit it, but... Coralreef really was getting worried about her father. The deputy hadn't been seen in a quarter-moon and while several cats assumed he had just got up and left, what if he hadn't? What if something happened? He didn't like her but he was still Dad and she wanted him to be safe and happy. She wanted to be happy too, and being worried meant she wasn't happy, and she didn't like that, and that made her even more sad. She didn't want to be sad, so she needed to find him. A rescue party! That was what she needed! She could go save him herself! From wherever he was! Whatever he was doing!
With a quick swallow for her nerves the blue she-cat raised her chin and looked around the cave. "Uh," her voice quavered, "who wants to come on a rescue patrol?"
Rushingriver’s pricked at the words rescue patrol and she immediately was on her paws going over to Coralreef. “Rescue? Who’s in need of rescue?” She asked urgently.
"I'm going to look for Dad. He's been gone too long and we need to do something," she declared. Her soft mossy gaze turned pleading. "I know everyone thinks he left the clan, but he didn't! He wouldn't do that! He cares about us. Well..... maybe not... but he cares that we bring him food. He wouldn't want to be on his own so something must be wrong." Her mew was firm.
Rushingriver tilted her head. She personally agreed with most of their clanmates. But she could see how much this meant to Coralreef, plus it would be good to know if Chimerahunt had truly left on his own accord, and not because of something unfortunate happening. So a matching look of determination filled her eyes and she nodded. "Then let's go find him!" She said firmly
"Really?" she beamed. "Thanks, Rushingriver! I knew I could count on you!" She sprang to her paws and brushed her fluffy tail beneath the warrior's chin as she bounded for the camp exit. "Let's get going! There's no time to waste!"
