Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Allencatch pushed himself out of the warriors den. His dreams taunted him more than ever, making this groggy morning even more hazy. He expected his pair to be ready, whether he was or not. He waited outside of the apprentices den.
Bloodpaw had always been the more responsible member of their pairing, so before leaving the apprentice's den he had made sure that he had woken her up. "Come on, we are going to be late if you don't get a move on" he complained tipping over her nest to spill her onto the floor. "Its our first day with Allencatch, you can be late some other time"
Raspberrypaw had appeared to be tucked underneath a blanket of moss with her golden tail sticking out the other end. But right as Bloodpaw began tipping it the nest teetered and leapt up. Raspberrypaw had been lying in wait underneath her nest for... Well StarClan knows how long just to play that prank on him. Her tail slid out from underneath the moss as she stuck out her tongue, "Gotch chu! I woke up super early just to do that! Or maybe I actually fell asleep for an hour and then woke up and thought it was early cause it felt like I was waiting there for hours. Anywho! I'm ready!"
Raspberrypaw shook out her fur of moss and twigs that may have gotten stuck to her from lying underneath a nest. She bounced out the apprentice den bumping playfully into Allencatch, "Heyyyy Allen!" She said in a cheer sing song voice, "I got a secret, do you want to hear it?"
Bloodpaw chuckled, but was still a little annnoyed with the prank. Normally he wouldn't mind, but now she was going to get both of them into trouble with there new mentor. "Yeah you got me, now lets go" he replied with a sigh following behind her. He tilted his head, having now idea what she had come up with this time
Raspberrypaw tried to suppress her giggles, "Your," She giggled a bit, "Your gonna be the best mentor eveeeeeer," She whispered with the widest kitten cute smile imaginable.
Allencatch raised an eyebrow at the apprentice. "Alright?" he said, his voice curling into a question. This was his first time mentoring since Beetleflight had become a warrior. He still felt it was his fault he was injured so many moons ago. He hoped he would do better with these young ones. "So. What are you guys wanting to start with?" he asked, and hoped it wasn't battle training. He was too tired for that.
Raspberrypaw leaned into Bloodpaw, "Yeah, we're pretty advanced dragonfly catchers so I think we got that one down pat. I'm thinking maybe we could practice hiding. Let's be expert hiders. Then we can rock at hide and go seek!"
Bloodpaw purred in amusment "And how do you propose hiding me? I'm big, red, and my teeth gleam in the light" he knew that he would have to learn how eventually, but he wasn't exactly thrilled at the idea. It was like a fox trying to hide in a den of mice....
"Hide and go seek is not something I'm going to be teaching you guys today. Have you guys been around NightClan's territory before?" he asked, a slight annoyance lining his voice.
"Of course we have" he replied nudging his friend's shoulder. Honestly they had probably seen more of the territory and beyond than most apprentices due to their little adventures. He was picking up on their new mentor's annoyance, so he didn't want to push it to far.
