Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ravenstar tended to be an early riser and today was no exception. She had been up and bout since before the sun rose and she would spend today with the group. She had given Mudpaw some tasks on her own and the apprentice was old enough and self sufficient enough that the leader felt comfortable taking on one of the groups, after all she should experience what it was like in one of the early trainings in case it just wasn't working at all. She had instructed Cloudyday and all four apprentices charged to them to meet her in the training clearing for some basic trainings and she couldn't help but be curious what these young and new apprentices might have to offer to Summerclan one day.
Eldin was nervous. He was an apprentice now but in a group all on his own, not with his brother like he wanted, and that betrayal stung. He didn't know if he should be excited or scared to have the leader herself watching over his training. He paced the den restlessly, then took a deep breath to calm himself before he headed over to the training clearing. At least he wouldn't be alone, there would be others; he would have to take solace in that.

Cloudyday padded into the hollow, feeling a bit unsure himself. These cats would be the first he ever trained. Plus, he was training with Ravenstar. What if she decides I am unfit to be a warrior also and makes me an apprentice again. The thought was crazy and humorous enough that he let out a laugh and shook his head. His ears grew suddenly hot when he realized that he had just done that out loud. "Er, good morning, Ravenstar."
"Eldin! Eldin" A sing-song voice piped up from behind the other apprentice. Moorkit--no, Moorpaw-- traipsed after his denmate, excitement and anxiety making his paws move faster than his body. He tumbled a few times before catching up to Eldin. "Are you ready?" He purred excitedly, glancing over at the training grounds. "I am soooooooo excited!"
Eldin forced a smile. He should be excited like Moorpaw -- they were finally going to be training! It was silly to sit here and be upset that he wasn't with Lanaryu. And he wasn't with those apprentices he had met his first day out of the nursery either, and that was good, because they were big and still scared him a bit. "Yeah, Moorpaw," he answered with a soft purr, glad his own name hadn't changed. "I can't wait to kick your tail!"

"Good morning," She greeted Cloudyday with a smile and a tip of her head. He was a good warrior but she could tell he was nervous, it was not surprising considering this was his first time as a mentor and he was responsible for so many apprentices, along with her of course.
Briarpaw arrived quietly, padding up and sitting next to her brother, smiling at his enthusiasm. "Hi, everyone." She chirped up in her calm and melodical voice, ears perking with interest as she looked around at the other apprentices. She had never talked much with Eldin in particular.
Spottedpaw didn't know how to slow down or arrive like the others and the mottled grey she-cat slid into the clearing, her blue eyes bright and a feather lightly resting on the top of her head. Her fur was stuck up in every which direction and she jumped to her paws. "I'm here!" She called out, looking around at the group. Fox dung, she was the last to arrive.

Glad that she didn't bring up his embarrassing moment, Cloudyday gave a nod of respect then sat down beside her. "So, what are we teaching them today?" He asked as the apprentices chattered among themselves. He was glad that they were enthusiastic, but worried a bit about them getting distracted later on.
Moorpaw let out a little laugh and prodded his sister on the side as she arrived. "Don't worry, Briarpaw will kick yours." He teased Eldin then turned his green gaze to Spottedpaw. "Hi there!" He chirped cheerily.

The leader smiled at Cloudyday and looked around at each of the chattering apprentices. They were all young and new, unfamiliar to Summerclan's territory, but they would learn it with time. There was no point wasting an entire day of training on a tour when they could do it later and become more acquainted in the long run. "I'm thinking that today we start with some basic battle techniques. It's always good to learn self defense early on. If you all do well then we'll go and catch a whiff of the other clans. How does that sound?" She announced out loud, looking to her warrior for approval. Even if she was the leader, he had a say as these were also his apprentices.
Battle training. Eldin straightened up. He could do that, right? After his first encounter with Sootpaw he had been fighting with Lanaryu when he got a chance in order to become a better fighter. He didn't make that much progress, but he felt better. "Okay," he agreed, then stopped, realizing she was asking Cloudyday, not him. "Oh."

"U-uh, that sounds fine to me. Should we pair them up?" He asked, glancing around at the chattering apprentices. He judged them carefully, trying to see which ones would make the best matches.
Moorpaw's ears pricked excitedly. "Oooh, that sounds exciting!" He purred brightly.
