Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Cardinalheart led his small band of cats back towards the SpringClan border. What was odd to him was the fact that he didn't get any fresh scents of the rogues and the territory was oddly quiet. He glanced over his shoulder his gaze scanning his group of cats. "Stay alert, the rogues scent is stale. Something weird is going on here." he said quietly, his ears twitching in different directions trying to pick up any sounds that were out of place.
Wolfspider placed Shiningkit on the ground at his paws and surveyed the camp. "This is not going to be fun to rebuild." he sighed. "I remember building this camp when Peachstar decided to move it here." he added.
"At least maybe we can build it better this time around. Not that there was anything wrong with the way it was before... just trying to be optimistic..." Wolfspider muttered.
Suddenly, there was a sound behind them and the a voice.
Finchpaw spun around and noticed the familiar grey fur and build of Smokecloud, though he was much thinner than before. His ribs showing clear as day. He set down the herbs he had collected. "Cardinalheart?" His gaze scanned the weary group of cats until it fell on his apprentice and a heartfelt moment seemed to pass between them. He was okay! Oh how much he had missed Whitepaw. His yellow gaze turned back to Cardinalheart, "the rogues have abandoned Springclan. Some of us have stayed while other's followed the rogues. It's so good to see you again!"
Lightstep who had been carrying Dovekit set her daughter down and considered this news. "Well that's good." She muttered, though it angered her that they didn't have the opportunity to make them pay for what they'd stolen from SpringClan. "And we will rebuild, this time we'll do it right." She said firmly glancing towards Cardinalheart.
"It's good to see you too, Smokecloud!" Cardinalheart replied, relieved that Smokecloud was alive and well. Cardinalheart winced slightly under Lightstep's gaze. He had a lot of things to make up for and more than just den's to try and rebuild. "We'll start with rebuilding the nursery first and foremost." he said decidedly.
Smokecloud smiled at Cardinalheart and then blinked at Lightstep, understanding her hidden message beneath her words. "I'm here to help in any way that I can" the grey medicine cat volunteered.
