Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Violetstar made her way to the meeting area of the clan. It was right in front of her den within the cavern, her voice ringing out loud enough that she could be overheard from the waterfall. “All cats old enough to swim, please gather.” Purple eyes shone as she cast them across the clan’s camp. It was time for ceremonies, always a most waited time for the younger cats and soon to be warriors.
As she awaited for the clan to gather, she stood still, watching them with soft eyes. Once they had come around, she rose her voice once more.
“Rushkit, Bubblekit. Please step forward.” As the kittens would scamper their way forward eagerly, she then looked out to her warriors. “Rushkit, your name will now be Rushpaw, your mentor will be Batseeker. He may be quiet, but he has much to teach you. Bubblekit, you will now be known as Bubblepaw. Your mentor will be Stormrumble. He may seem intimidating, but give it time and get to know him.” Violetstar purred a little before moving on.
“Stormkit and Hazelkit, please step forward. Stormkit, you will now take on the name Stormpaw, your mentor will be Whiteperch. He will fuel your fire to become a sharp warrior. Hazelkit, you will now be Hazelpaw. Your mentor will be Tinybreath. Wise beyond her years, she can teach you the history of our clan, and much more.” She turned one last time, calling up the last kit to be promoted.
“Dripkit, you will be known as Drippaw. Your mentor is Eclipseknight. Just as Tinybreath, she is also a senior warrior who can teach you the histories of the clan, and guide your paws to be an honorable warrior.”
“Each of you will take on the -paw names until you become a warrior, may StarClan light your paths in the right direction.”
She paused.
“Umbrapaw. Please step forward.”
“By the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Umbrapaw, from this moment on you will be known as Umbramoon. You have trained hard under Chimerahunt, bad he has taught you well, just as I knew he would. StarClan honors your bravery and welcomes you as a full warrior of WaterClan. You will keep vigil tonight and guard the camp, as warriors have before you.” She dipped her head to the feline, a smile slipping along her lips.
The deputy leaned against the cave wall as he watched the ceremony, grunting his approval as he watched the proceedings. At last he was free of his apprentice; he had expected to bond with the young cat a little more than they had, but it was not to be. That was fine with him. Stormpaw was an apprentice now, with Whiteperch as his mentor—Chim has not asked for that, but he was pleased to see his friend—acquaintance—get the eager young cat as an apprentice. With luck, he would learn to follow the rules a little better than he had an a kit. His brother and sister had become mentors to one of the new pairs of apprentices, which had certainly not been the deputy’s choice. He had nothing against Batseeker, though he knew his older brother did; his problem was with Tinybreath. Still, she would be a good mentor, he supposed.
Umbramoon stood still, her eyes blazing with excitement. She nodded and turned to pad towards the center of the camp. She flicked her ears as thanks towards Chimerahunt. She made note to speak to the warrior more often. Though her apprenticeship was over, she knew there was much she could still learn.
Rushpaw puffed out his chest at his new name, looking to his sister with large golden eyes. While he really wanted to say something, being an apprentice now he knew better and held his tongue. Spotting Batseeker from the crowd, he walked over to his new mentor and stood beside the older warrior with his small head held high.
Juniperpaw smiled as she watched the ceremonies from her den. She remembered the day the Violetstar asked her to be the medicine cat apprentice, the day she had officially been promoted, the day her life changed forever.
Lilypool purred from the nursery. While her kits were too young to be promoted this time, she knew that the next ones for sure would be her last day in the nursery.

Riverwolf watched the promotions with gleaming brown eyes. These young cats would be good pawns in the future. They were strong, eager, and easily moved. He would have to grow close to some of them, but he didn't think it would be too difficult. His eyes flicked to Umbramoon and the warrior gave a nod in new respect. "Well done, Umbramoon. You will be a valuable warrior to Waterclan." He told her. His eyes drifted to Chimerahunt, a challenge flickering in their depths. It was one that could only be seen by the deputy. He knew many of the clan's members did not trust the gloomy tom, which would work well in Riverwolf's favor.
Rainpaw cheered on Umbramoon's new name, feeling pride for his past denmate. The blue-grey tom's eyes then turned to the new apprentices and he gave a nod of greeting. "Welcome to the ranks." He purred gently. "You are going to learn so much."
"Why can't we be apprentices?" Thunderkit questioned his mother, feeling a bit of disappointment as he watched his denmates being promoted. The young tom felt so ready to start his training that it made his whiskers tingle.
