Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Welcome to the Monarchy's first Arena games! Set forth by Loki E'clair as a means of enforcing order throughout the clan, the idea is simple: Eight (8) candidates will be selected to compete in the games. Only one (1) will make it out alive. Throughout the games, each candidate will be expected to abide by the laws put forth for the games. Disobedience of the laws will result in suspension of benefits for the guilty for a time of two suns. This can influence life or death, so be wary.
WHAT ARE THE ARENA GAMES?
The Arena games were founded by Loki E'clair as a means of reinstating order throughout the Monarchy. Believing that the rule of the late Tasman E'clair and Rune (both dedicates of Tiveronah) brought about the danger to and failures of the Monarchy time and time again, the black she-cat believed this was the best course of action. One of the strongest methods of ruling is to rule by fear. To fear for your lives and the lives of your family... even the most stubborn would fall in line. And if not? Punishment by trial is always acceptable.
WHO ARE THE CANDIDATES?
The candidates are chosen randomly, two dedicates of each god. They can be male or female, but only 8 will be selected per games. Upon their selection, they will be secluded from the rest of the camp and clan, made to sleep and eat together in the same small encampment just beside the enclosed Arena. Affiliations are permitted, as long as you keep this in mind: In the end, there can only be one winner. Candidates must be at least kadet age.
WHO'S THE AUDIENCE?
The audience is comprised of the royals (tsar & family, vrachi, acecoop, as well as the Ut Religiousness) and the Dvoryane. Much as the Spartan games in the times of Ancient Rome, the Arena games are a time of entertainment and excitement and the selection process is often celebrated by the capital residents. Dvoryane can choose a team of dedicates or a single candidate to root for and sponsor, should they wish to.
WHO & WHAT ARE THE SPONSORS?
Sponsorships are earned by socializing and winning over the Dvoryane in the suns before the Arena games. Once a Dvoryane has chosen a champion to root for and support throughout the games, they will be given the option to provide benefits to their champions throughout the games. A sponsorship can be lost, however, if their candidate has gone against the Arena laws or has been killed in the games.
WHEN DO THE ARENA GAMES START?
The Arena games will start May 22nd. That's three (3) weeks from today. Candidates will be selected on that day, then they'll be given a week to attempt to win over a Dvoryane or two to sponsor them throughout the games. The Arena games will officially start and candidates will be locked inside the arena May 29th.
WHO WILL WIN?
The Arena games champion will be chosen at random close to the end of the games. I (sinful) will enter the thread occasionally stating who was chosen in a random generator to be killed. As these characters will most likely be killed off, signing up to these games with these characters (fabricated for the games or not) will mean you consent to this. If you have any issues with your character being killed off in the games, message me and we can figure out an alternative route for your character, whether that be their resisting one of the Arena laws and being pulled out of the games to face trial, or if they escape the Arena and flee to another clan / group. ♥

THE NOTES –
each user can submit up to four (4) candidates of their making, as long as they're dedicated to a different god. (if you were to submit four candidates, each one would be dedicated to a different god)
your characters will be under threat of getting killed or will be killed. please keep this in mind when offering your candidates.

USERNAME: uniqcrim CHARACTER NAME: Righteousspawn CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY: A black she cat with piercing deep blue eyes. She is easily irritated by other cat's actions or even lack of actions. If she thinks a cat should be doing something, she's not afraid to tell them so. Righteousspawn despises hunting and only does so when she's forced to be on a hunting patrol. But put her on a border patrol and now she's in her element! If some strange cat even dares to look across their border, she's on them like ants on sugar. Once while she was an apprentice she had the chance to help drive off a badger family. Now that was living! She looks forward to the day when she can do something like that again. As for raising a family, that's really not high on her priority list. If the day comes when she feels herself slowing down, she might consider it. But for now she's a lean, mean, fighting machine.
