Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Burningstar padded out from behind the falling water of the waterfall moving to stand by the basin the falls emptied into. Waiting for her new apprentice to emerge. With Tenaciouspaw's mentor no longer able to train them, she decided she'd take up his training. It had been a while since she'd had an apprentice and it felt overdue for her to have one again. She sat down and wrapped her tail around her paws to wait for Tenaciouspaw to join her.
He must have screwed up terribly if he was being mentored by the leader. Did she think he was hopeless? Probably. His shoulders slumped. Tenaciouspaw sat down and took long, deep breaths as she struggled to calm himself. Maybe he still had hope if the leader of all cats was looking after him. It was terrifying, but maybe she'd save him from failing out of being a warrior. Right?
The apprentice tripped over his own paws as he stumbled around the basin toward his mentor, soft fur fluffed up and eyes wide. "Uh... hi... I'm here."
