Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Berryfrost was glad to ahev wamr weather again. While it wasn't as miserable this last winter, she was greatly appreciative of the fact that it was finally gone. For all that her namimplieded that she liked the cold, she did not. Berryfrost was named for her coloring and eyes, not her love of cold weather. She'd take a sunbath in the summer compared to huddling for warmth in the winter any day!
Celestialglow was sun bathing nearby when she spotted Berryfrost through half closed eyes. "Good day, Berryfrost" the usually sharp edged warrior greeted with a purr. She had been in a rather pleasant mood recently since she had been hanging around Cutthroat. It was pretty clear to every one that the two of them had some kind of chemistry going on although they hadn't made it official. The golden tabby stretched and rolled over onto her back, exposing her belly. "Such a beautiful day today, isn't it?"
The ex-queen grinned at the sight of a sunny spot. "Oh yes! Do you mind if I join you? That spot looks awful comfy." Berryfrost approached but kept a few paw steps away, aware of how fickle the other warrior could be about things. Though, she shouldn't be as of late. Maybe a certain tom was a good influence.
(Oops! I'm so sorry! I lost this thread! If your ever role playing with me and I don't respond in like a week, give me a little bump! I would have forgotten this if it weren't for Archerz!)
"I don't mind" she invited Berryfrost. She noticed Solsticestar nearby, "Would you like to join too?"
Celestialglow scooted over to make room for the other two she-cats. The heat of the sun felt good on the golden tabby's fur. "I'm glad new leaf is here. This is my favorite season."
“As am I.” Newleaf was always new beginnings, new starts, fresh moments. It was an answer to the harshness of winter. Berryfrost would always enjoy summer, but she liked the spring weather best!
"How are your little ones doing? She asked Berryfrost. "Well, they aren't so little anymore now, are they?" She purred, twitching her whiskers. Her litter were already apprentices. Time sure does fly.
"Growing like weeds! I feel sorry for Deerpaw's mentor. She was a handful when she was a kit, always trying to escape the nursery to explore. Just imagine how she is now! I've found her covered in mud, leaves, she even brought home a bug once." Her daughter. What ever was she going to do with the child? Berryfrost shook her head. Though she complained about teh kits adventures, she was the first to encourage them as well. Everyday, she saw Deerpaw off and every evening she welcomed her home, curious as to where she'd been today.
Celestialglow chuckled, "I'm sure she is doing well. I don't know what I'm going to do when I eventually have kits. I don't think I know enough about being a mother to be the mother they need, you know?" What if all her kits ended up like Deerpaw? Wild and sometimes uncontrollable. Sure, Berryfrost had good memories and loved each of her kits but could she ever be as good as Berryfrost?
She rolled over to face the other cat, a grin on her face as she spoke. "I'll help you, just say the word. If I can raise the wild child that is Deerpaw I can help raise any one! Though, she's not that bad. Spirited yes, but she has a good heart that merely longs for the adventures and wonders the world has to offer." Berryfrost nudged Celestialglow, "wait does that mean you have someone in mind? I haven't heard of you talking to anyone?" Though, she had been out of clan gossip for a while, dealing with three kits was a full-time job; no wonder they let mothers off of warrior duties until the kits were apprentices.
“Oh? Do tell! I’m sure they’re a lovely cat.” Berryfrost rolled over, giving the other warrior her full attention. Love was always such a wonderful thing and to see young or even just early love was special. She could still remember when her and Stonefang starting dating and then when they became mates. It seemed like so long ago. To think, she was a mother of apprentices now!
"You should know...Its kind of obvious" she purred. "We haven't made it official or really confessed anything but I can tell there is something there..."
"Do tell! Have you gone on dates? Those we always my favorite and always the highlight of my weeks when Stonefang and I would go. Don't stop those once you are mates, now. They help keep things fun and the love strong." Berryfrost wasn't sure who Celestialglow was talking about but she would support it and give her advice. "Stonefang and I go every other week but we aim for every week. But it's not easy, what with kits and me being a mentor and all."
“That’s a good one. Stonefang and I enjoy walks alone. There’s a large rock not too far from the river that’s nice to relax on too and it’s always sunny there.” It was the simple things that mattered the most. Just spending time with the one you love. Berryfrost even tried to do one on one time with her just but it wasn’t the easiest at the moment with everyone out at training.
Celestialglow nodded as Berryfrost spoke, "there is a lot going on right now. Kits are now becoming apprentice's and most of us are really busy with training. I hoped to have a relationship with Cutthroat the way you have one with Stonefang."
