Didacticpaw stretched slowly, eyes glancing at the entrance of the den. He had been sick almost since they were adopted, making him wonder why they bothered to promote him. They hadn’t given him a mentor like the rest of them, so he couldn’t help feeling useless.
Deerpaw spotted her newest denmate. Eager to meet them properly as well as to have a partner in exploring the territory, the she-cat approached the tom. "Hi! Name's Deerpaw, what's yours?"
The pitch black tom stared at Deerpaw, staying more or less silent. After a moment, his eyes darted around in search of Voicelesspaw, but upon seeing his twin was gone, he looked back. "I'm Didacticpaw. Nice to meet you." He dipped his head politely.
