CAT'S BIO ▶︎ "Ding, ding, ding" the bells toll and your time is almost up. While a quaint village on the surface, blood runs through the streets and the dead don't stay buried for long. Little Romanian town plagued with ancient history that speaks of the dead rising. A stake through the heart the only true way to assure your loved ones death and to release their soul. For those born into this setting these practices perhaps seem barbaric; once they see the world outside the isolated town and realize how backwards such traditions are. While a simple cat, it was where Strigoi was born, where he was nicknamed after the dead the haunted the townsfolk history. But a simple barn cat, he watched the twolegs dig up their dead, watched them kill each other twice. Found the practice fascinating and found deep amusement in their foolish behavior. For Strigoi could tell simply by scent that the dead they feared would rise was simply that; dead. But the villagers started calling him Strigoi; as he was the shadow that was always there as the dead where staked. When one of the younger villagers started joining him to watch the funeral proceedings and cried when the dead where dug up he found her a new thing to watch. Started following her and she latched onto his attention; the cat her only companion. When she decided she was leaving her little village she brought Strigoi with her and the tom went along. Having grown bored with the village he was born in as well and deciding the girl was an easy enough way to end up somewhere new. First moving throughout Romania before they ended up leaving the country completely. When they ended up in a city Strigoi was a little disappointed; not content with this new life where the girl kept him locked away in an apartment. Slipping out a window one day and hearing of wild cats who lived beyond the city; cats that hunter their own food and had their own silly beliefs. Eager to watch something new Strigoi set off; leaving the girl behind. He passed by Asbum Lux and found them perhaps a bit barbaric, encountered Primal Instinct and found them charmingly delightful. But it was Brookclan he felt kindred too. Their belief in gods and stranger practices, their hierarchy; reminding him of the small Romanian town he was born within. So it was among these unique cats Strigoi settled down, though he has never quite managed to fit in. The highlander tom a odd sight even among the varied pelts and breeds of the forest cats. Large and imposing but still agile; legs muscular enough that his jumps alone can often bring him to the lowest branches among the trees. It is not only his looks that cause him to stand out though; his history also painting him in a different hue. His behavior questionable and often causing lips to curl. A compulsive liar that makes up stories for the sake of telling stories. Having told the truth of his history often enough and been called a liar that now he simply lies to begin with. Often answering questions in riddles and playing games for no discernible point. Awfully forgetful as anything he deems unimportant he tosses aside inside his head as useless information. Though he has an uncanny memory for faces, names, and words others have said. Dismissive with others that he doesn't find interesting and frustrating to try and get the attention of. Easily startled causing him to leap into the air and often strike out; causing unintentional injury and often laughing rather than being apologetic. He carries the history of his past in the form of a slim collar carrying the jingle of a bell with it. Despite the handicap he does alright for himself though, often using tricks he picked up in the past to quiet the bell while hunting. Not caring about the jingle when fighting, in fact finding it amusing to enter broiling tensions with the light jingle of the bell and saunter of a tom playing with death.
