Abel's yellow eyes scanned the camp for the young cat that he would be mentoring. Honestly, he was a bit shocked he even had a Kadet. The havana brown had lost his mate and recently one of his daughters. He wasn't sure how much more he could withstand. It seemed like the world was crumbling around him, yet he needed to focus on training Haru. That poor kadet was going to have a mess of a partner.
