As Honeycomb waited for her apprentice, Mindlesspaw, to arrive at the entrance, she went over in her mind what she planned for today. The sky was a dark blue this time in the morning, a bit lighter in the east and it was dotted with small puffy clouds. Newleaf air currents had already arrived pushing away the colder air of Leafbare. Honeycomb was not displeased to see the cold season end. They will have three more warmer seasons before they'll have to face another Leafbare again. She took in a deep breath relishing the fresh clean scents of the early morning.
Honeycomb wouldn't have to wait long for Mindlesspaw to join her, the black silhouette of the slightly frail and smaller tom moving to join his new mentor with a warm hop to his step that barely restrained a full-out run. In attempt to keep a mature and admirable appearance Mindlesspaw bridled his burning anticipation, but he'd been waiting with baited breath for this moment as long as he could remember and pretending he wasn't bubbling with excitement was killing the poor apprentice. Before even being promoted he'd spent countless days training with basic battle moves and hunting techniques he could get apprentices and warrior to teach him in his attempt to try and prepare to be the best apprentice he could possibly be. As young as he was, he was already dedicated to being something greater than just another warrior, though how he would achieve this was beyond him other than merely hard-work and practice.
Meeting his mentor, he gave a dip of his head in respect, trying to be as polite as possible. "Good morning." He greeted, his voice not nervous but clearly anxious.

"Well, good morning to you too," Honeycomb greeted Mindlesspaw cheerfully. "I hope you're rested up because I have a lot planned for us today. I thought we might do some hunting training while I show you around our territory. How does that sound?" She was eager to start his training hoping they'll have a fun time working together.
