Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Before the sickness, before the heartache, the deaths, the pain. Before she was Violetstar, she had more. So much more, and none would have guessed it had they not survived through the sickness. If they were an outsider, it was likely they would never know her story. Though, there was a few still around that knew, that remembered every thing she had endured through those torturing moons.

”Sandtail! Gravelshell will have your tail for pranking her!” Though Violeteyes found laughter flowing from her lips. It was only fun and games, simple things that young warriors would do. A sign that they were still young at heart, and still knew a playful light to their lives. The prank was nothing to be concerned of, and nothing that would really make the past leader angry. It was only fun and games, and she was sure the elder somewhat enjoyed it.
Violeteyes seemed to bounce as she made her way back towards the exit of the camp. “Come on!” They’d be long gone away from the camp by the time Gravelshell knew. Violeteyes had no duties for the day, and nor did Sandtail. She couldn’t help but find happiness in the thought of spending the day with him. The she-cat and tom had been friends since they were kits, their bond had always been unbreakable. The elders and older warriors always whispered they would end up love birds, and that Violeteyes would be with kits within a few moons of becoming a warrior. Clan gossip at its best, but... accurate. Violeteyes adored the tom, and truly loved him. She was just too afraid to be spoken with her feelings, scared he may not have the same.
"Are you scared that Gravelshell's going to yell at us," he teased her. His words were followed by a deep laugh, one that came right from the center of his chest. His eyes were bright and laced with amusement. "I'm more worried that Ottermystique will come chase us down and give me a lecture on ettiquite." He purred this out; his sister, although mischevious herself, didn't like involving the rest of the group with their games. It wasn't proper, she would say, but Sandtail didn't care. He was still boyish and happy about it, perfectly content in the little world that he had made for himself.
The blonde tom still made his way to the entrance of camp, though, following her like a love-struck puppy. Otter also mocked him for this, the fact that he had a big dream that one day he and Violeteyes would be known for their love and compassion, and that they'd end up with six litters of adoring cats and be remembered forever. Of course, that would mean that he'd have to ask her out first, but, well, even though he was in love with her, he was kind of afraid.
"I'll have to remember that you're a fraidy-cat," he continued, before running his tail across her side. He then took off into a run. If they were going to leave, they were going to leave.
"Catch me if you can!"
He would never learn, probably, but that was okay. he was in the height of his life. He was young, and wild, and free, and so, too, was anyone that managed to keep up with him.
Oh right, Ottermystique! She was sure that the warrior would catch them later and they would hear all about it, even if she wasn’t the cat whom had done it. It was always both of them in trouble, because one was always right behind the other.
Violeteyes had just been thinking about what type of punishment his sister might dish out to them, or what type of ‘stern talking to’ they might receive when she felt his tail touch. Her eyes jerked towards the tom, a shy smile pulling along her lips. She only had a moment to feel that fleeting feeling of warmth spread through her before she heard his sudden jeer of play.
“Oh I’ll catch you!” She suddenly bolted forward, tail waving behind her as she pushed her paws on the ground hard, not at all going for grave and silence, but rather speed. “You better run, Sandtail!”
He grinned over his shoulder. "There's no way you could catch up to me, even if I just walked," he called over his shoulder with a grin. The tease was light, and it was clear that there was nothing behind it, and if there was something behind it, it wasn't vindictive. Still, he had no intention on making it easy for the she-cat, and the long legged tom began racing through the most difficult parts of the territory.
There was an ulterior motive to this. He wanted to get her alone, and well, this was the best way he could think to do it. She wouldn't deny him a game, and then he'd be able to talk to her in private about what was really on his mind.
WaterClan cats had very strong legs. Legs built for swimming and power. They were fast, but sometimes speed wasn’t the easiest upon land. No matter, a chasing game it was. Violetstar found herself dashing and weaving through the wood to catch him. No cares in the world, it was just them two and another game.
Unknown to his motives, she only saw a game. Which was okay with her, it’s not like they had anywhere else to be at the time.
She began to catch up, slowly, but surely, her lungs burning from such effort to catch Sandtail. “You’re as slow as a turtle!” She teased.
