    Fox patterned fur stood out starkly against the white snow, tall legs striding along the top of the frozen white wonderland that would soon begin to fade into springtime greenery. But for today, winter remained, and her thick fur swayed in the bitterly cold wind, painted with all the colors of fire, reds and golds, midnight black and blinding white crossing through her fur in intricately made patterns unique to the cats of SunClan. On this day, the fire symbol that adorned her auburn forehead glimmered bright in golden-orange, freshly painted from right before the most recent gathering a few days prior, signaling the feline's rank as High Priestess of SunClan, chosen by the Sun God to guide his people. Another symbol among the intricate swirls of her body paint shone just behind her right shoulder, ebony lines outlining a cat's eye, the iris colored in a deep, bloody red, the symbol of July, cats born under the element fire, said to be blessed with the traits necessary to lead others.

    DayClan had their feathers, BrookClan had their Tsar's flower crown, and SunClan had it's body paint. Each clan was unique in it's displayed, and each meant something specific in their own ways. Personally, Foxstar liked the display of color on her already unmistakable pelt, and those of her clanmates. Though few cats knew exactly what the symbols meant, it distinguished the Chosen from the Shade Walkers, identifying a SunClan cat in an instant.

    Usually, the Priestess would be in her own clan, tending to the duties she had, but for today, she'd elected to visit EarthClan. Littlebird could handle SunClan, and keeping their prisoners, MoonClan, in line for the day. Foxstar had desired to check on Senator Mountainsound in particular, the former medicine cat having been sent to the faraway clan in order to teach the newly named EarthClan medicine cats in the ways of healing, for a price. In turn, SunClan had been given unrestricted rights to EarthClan's territory, up to and including hunting and herb collecting... indefinitely. A bad deal for the EarthClan cats, to be sure, but Solsticestar hadn't had much of a choice but to ask her former clan to aid.

    But for this moment, Solsticestar, the Pride, even the Regime, weren't her focus. No, Kerrigan had gone from BrookClan for more than a half moon now, and the clan didn't seem to know the whereabouts of their own Tsar. Naturally, Foxstar was curious, and as such, the fox-hearted she-cat had made her way over to the border, taking a moment to exit EarthClan territory so as to meet with BrookClan's border on the rogue side, rather than that of their neighboring clan. She could have stepped over, it would have been so easy, and the Priestess wouldn't have cared for a moment that they would consider her a trespasser, yet she didn't. This wasn't out of respect, more so a desire to have conversation with whatever manner of BrookClan cat happened to cross her path. These cats knew her, in a way. The clan's members had aided in the keeping DayClan and SpringClan in line a few moons prior, until Kerrigan had pulled out of the alliance that is. But that was water under the bridge now.

    It was time to wait, and the ivy eyed feline sat down inches from the border, her white tipped tail curling around ebony paws as she waited patiently for a cat to cross her path, the devilish leader wearing the smirk of a cat who ought to never be trusted.
