Lupinepatch sniffed around the roots of the tree nearby. There was an unmistakable fresh scent of vole around here but he couldn't quite find the creature. He was surprised considering the sun was rather low in the sky, making it far chillier than it had been earlier in the day. "where are you you stupid little vole." He murmured quietly to himself. He sniffed around a little longer before finally deciding to give up. he had been around this tree so many times it probably fled already after discovering the jet black warrior. "Oh well, I'll go check out the meadows." He hummed quietly to himself as he turned in the proper direction. It was late, but he had an advantage to hunting at night with his sleek black fur he had inherited from his mother.

He was surprised by the voice and scent he did not recognize and he turned suddenly, inspecting her with suspicious brown eyes. "Who are you?" He asked, slightly taken aback by her odd appearance.
