Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Burningstar had been hearing a great deal from cats about their thoughts and feelings in regards to MoonClan. As she was still busy caring for her adopted kits, (and recovering from losing her kits to MoonClan and her new concerns over them staying there) she had decided to invite cats to join her in a small cavern she had discovered it was quiet and would allow cats to speak their mind freely to her.
The ginger leader sat on a rock, giving her increased height over whoever came in. She waited patiently to see if any cats would come and speak with her.
"Larkwing," Burningstar said nodding her head to her deputy. "I was hoping you would be among the first to arrive," She said. "I am opening court for discussion, so whatever you feel you need to say, feel free." She said beckoning him with her paw to come forwards and speak.
He dipped his head again before speaking, "Burningstar, I respect you and I respect your decisions. However, should we really be caught up in all of this mess? There may be peace for now but how long will that last? And Moonclan is suffering. I dont think its right to treat them like they belong to us." He held her gaze with his own pleading blue eyes.
Burningstar wrapped her tail around her paws. "You are referring to us holding MoonClan as a colony?" She said. "I understand that some cats are not pleased with it, and some have been... taking advantage of the new position of power over them. However, MoonClan territory is a useful boon for our allies in DayClan during the throes of leafbare. But as leafbare comes to a close I will reopen discussions with Foxstar and Glowstar about releasing MoonClan. For now though, it is a necessary evil." Burningstar said. "And MoonClan was already suffering," She pointed out, "And their number is low, if they would cease to make conflict with us, this could go much more smoothly. I understand it is not ideal for them, but it is something we should all strive to make the best of."
