Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. Quailkit stalked slowly towards an unsuspecting older cat, her fluffy sandy coat blending in well with the ground. Her yellow eyes were wide with excitement as she moved into position to pounce.
Ivorypaw was in the process of mumbling about her apprentice duties, unhappy with the task she was left to handle while enjoying her lunch. Needless to say, she didn't notice the kit pounce on her until it was too late. "What do you think you're doing!"
"I'm not prey." The apprentice huffed, pulling her poor tail closer to her body. Ivorypaw didn't see ow the kit could think she was prey, you only hunt prey did the mousebrain know that.
"Leaves, moss, anything but me!" Ivorypaw hissed at the kit, unamused with the kit's pouting. Pushing the kit back with her paws, the apprentice turned back to grooming her fur.
Deerkit spotted her sister outside of the nursery, curious as to what the other kit was doing. "Whatcha up too?"
"You mean our nest?" Deerkit smiled with a teasing tint to her voice before budging the other kit's side. "Can we use your fur for our nest? It'll make it so pretty and soft with your white fur." Ivorypaw was surprised that the kits even asked in the first place and in her shock, she nodded her head yes.
Berryfrost was nearly ran over by her own kit when Quailkit came rushing past with a ball of...something in her mouth. Shaking her head she glanced at the two left near the nursery entrance. "Hello, are Deerkit and Quailkit behaving, Ivorypaw?" The apprentice wouldn't meet the queen's eyes and instead looked off to the side. "Yea, pulled on my fur a bit but they're not being bad."
