Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
[ she's not obviously kicking anyone out, sorry I lied. But it grabbed your attention didn't it. She's just announcing her intentions to bring in new blood (while not mentioning how the kits are often kidnapped or stolen) and making the controversial decision to start training at 3 moons. And start bringing in more rogues and loners. ]
Eternalstar, the queen wearing a stolen crown. A wolf playing as a sheep, but not for much longer. No, she was tired of her lack of progress with the Springclan warriors. They seemed content to languish in their mediocrity. Unconcerned by the signs that pointed at a dying fire, unwilling to stoke the embers back to full flames. And if they were so lackadaisical, well she would given them an ultimatum. Either they would make an effort to help her turn their clan around or they would leave. She had no need for those not willing to grow, to become bigger and better.
Looking down at the cats gathered below her she noted the already thinned out ranks, the cats that she had personally sent away flashed through her mind and she wondered if these mindless sheep had even noticed the unexplained and random absences. Mistmatched eyes, so much like her father Ciceros, turned to glance to the side of her where her loyal deputy Cardinalheart stood. She had not informed him of what this meeting was about, but she had no worry that he would speak out against her words. To entrenched in his desire to stay away from the leadership position.
"Springclan... warriors, I fear we have stagnated, there is no new life coming into our clan. Our time as prisoners of Sunclan has broken many of you. It concerns me, our future. How are we supposed to compete with those around us when we seem to have given up on the warrior life all together? But don't worry, I have dedicated myself to helping change this, to bring change. It is because of this I have decided to take what some night consider drastic measures." She spoke, voice carrying as she sat above them, tail curled around her paws and seemingly unconcerned.
"Kits will now start training at 3 moons old. There will be no fighting or hunting training until the regular 6 moons. But they will get tours of the territory, will be trained on scents, basic healing for battles, and strategy. I will personally be overseeing these first lessons. New blood will be being brought into Springclan as well to hopefully bring a new fire to us. Bring us a new perspective." She waved her tail now over towards an unknown tom who stood in the shadows below her, heavily scared and scowling; an obvious rouge now turned Springclan member. " I know this is a drastic change and I know there are those that won't agree. If you have other thoughts or suggestions meet with me after. But for now this is how we'll be moving forward. I encourage all of you to take time to work on yourselves and find the fire that drives you forward once more."
Sliding to her paws she slipped from her perch and down below to join the cats under her. Dipping her head to the few that moved to make space for her. She slipped back away from the group to stand by the side, waiting for those who wanted to ask her about her changes or yell at her to make their way over. Ready to sweet talk her way out of their outrage and bring them to her views.
( i forgot i wanted to delete splashfoam but then i don't wanna edit him out of this post because then i feel like i didn't reply enough, so just...let's just pretend he got deleted like right after this xD )
Splashfoam's mouth hung open at Eternalstar's words, and became progressively more and more open as she continued to speak. "Th-three moons old?!" he gasped to no one in particular once their new leader had jumped down from her perch. "Even I only started at four moons, I can't imagine what..." he trailed off, uncertain if it was wise to continue speaking while he was firmly within audible territory to Eternalstar.
Mangopaw nodded cautiously, paying no mind to Splashfoam as the older tom frothed at the mouth. It made sense to start training kits earlier - usually they got impatient and wanted out of the nursery at four moons, so obviously promoting them before they could even start whining was a good idea, right? At least, Mangopaw thought so, and she was never wrong about anything, so it must be right. And with so many more new apprentices, maybe Mangopaw could get away with being promoted herself a little earlier than usual, too.
Cardinalheart kept his gaze down near his paws for the majority of Eternalstar's speech. He could see the good and bad side of this new change. Learning simple tracking and territory wouldn't be bad for a kit of three moons old but at the same time, for as long as anyone could remember, kit's were promoted at six moons, it was the way of the code and Clan life.

Wolfspider stared intently at Eternalstar, taking in every word the she-cat said. He was still young and impressionable, but he hoped with this new change he'd get his own apprentice soon and start proving himself to his Clanmates.
Fawnheart waited for Eternalstar to finish speaking before padding over to her friend, Cardinalheart. "How could you let this happen?" Her voice was lowered once she had taken her place beside the deputy, her amber eyes flashed with concern and outrage however, her voice held no anger, only concern.
Cardinalheart didn't meet Fawnheart's gaze, she had become a good friend and confident since she'd taken her role as medicine cat and he hated the thought that he'd let anyone of his Clanmates down, but to be called out on it, even privately, pained him internally. "I'm not ready to lead the Clan." he responded.
"Nor are kits at that age ready for battle!" A sharp voice hissed, Lightstep thrusting her muzzle in, the lithe silver tabby she cat marching over to Cardinalheart once Eternalstar had finished speaking. Now standing beside Fawnheart, her belly swollen with kits. Her blue eyes blazed with anger. "You were the one supposed to lead! Our code bans us for having kits training young for a reason." She hissed to her former mate. "OUR kits are going to be on our borders walking around like apprentices when they'll be too tiny to face any of the many threats out there. You've put them in danger because you were too cowardly to take the position that was yours."
Even she knew that this wasn't right. She strode up to her mother with fire in her eyes.
"So this is your plan now? Endangering kits?" she spat.
Eternalstar raised a brow towards her daughter, "they will be in no danger. They will be learning basic herbs, walking the borders, being talked through strategy. What danger is there in that Enchantedpaw... daughter?" She purred tilting her head. The picture of a guileless queen, playing ignorant to what could possibly have the apprentice so outraged. Her ears twitched as she listened to the others argue with Cardinalheart. Making a mental note to pull the deputy aside later and play listening ear and companionable shoulder. It wouldn't hurt to reaffirm her place in his thoughts, to make sure he was still with her.

Enchantedpaw stepped back a bit in seething anger, so angry to the point she had no words. Her tail lashed in anger as she fought to find the right words. The only thing she could think of was...
"You're going to regret this."
She locked eyes with her mother before walking away to allow herself to regain her composure. She couldn't fully lose it if she wanted to be taken seriously within the clan.
