Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Mangopaw plodded tiredly back into camp, dumping the prey she'd caught onto the freshkill pile with a dull thud. With the recent disappearances of a few of her less-than-impressive Clanmates, the apprentice was beginning to feel the heat - or at least, she would be beginning to feel the heat, had she not been extremely talented and well-adjusted. If anyone asked what was wrong with her, she'd just say she was overworked from all the extra training she'd been doing lately. That didn't make her feel bad, because it was only half a lie; she had been doing extra training to try and impress her Clanmates lately, but she totally, absolutely, one hundred percent was not tired because of it.
Still, even Mangopaw's impressive skill at self-deception couldn't stop her legs from giving out underneath her. This is fine, she thought to herself, letting her eyes slip closed. Just five minutes, and I'll get back out there again...
Effluentpaw came to a startled stop when she passed Mangopaw's path, blinking down towards the other apprentice and then looking around for a threat. All signs showed that she had no harm done to her but Effluentpaw had a vivid imagination and wondered if someone had poisoned her. Seeing it was just them though she reached out a hesitant paw and pushed at the other, "Mangopaw." She urged, tone quiet for some reason. Realizing she was acting like she was trying to wake a kit from slumber she shook the other harder and raised her tone. "Mangopaw!"
