Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Mintpaw!" Her tone wasn't sharp as she took a conscious effort to avoid making it so, not wanting her raised tone to start the conversation out on the wrong impression. Eternalstar watched the apprentice as he left the den, needing to take him away from camp and somewhere their conversation wouldn't be overheard. After all, she wasn't doing something others might approve of in any way. She already had Fawnheart distrustful of her, she didn't need any of the others to doubt her authority. Not when she hadn't even started setting things into motion yet.

The apprentice blinked, sleep still in his eyes. Who needed him at this time of day?, he wondered, snapping his head towards the voice. Oh, the new leader. He padded towards her, unsure what she wanted with him specifically. Maybe she was gonna make him a kit again since he had refused to do any apprentice things. "Eternalstar," he mewed, dipping his head just enough to not seem like he wasnt trying.
"Come." She commanded before turning and slipping from camp, knowing the stubborn young thing would probably take a moment of debate before he actually did. Well hopefully he would follow, if he had any self-preservation skills. Her patience was starting to wane the longer she dealt with the current Springclan cats, finding them all to lacking for her taste. She still kept a beautiful facade of-course, but was more eagerly looking for chances to shed it as time went on. And Mintpaw was not someone she planned on trying to fool, no the best approach would be blunt honesty.

The tom raised a brow, looking after her as she left, his feet keeping him frozen a bit longer than he wanted. Why would she need him? This all seemed fishy, but he figured he should go along with it. Maybe she was changing how training was done, making herself do it instead of the warriors. He caught up quick enough, but stayed a tails length away, knowing something was up.
"So Mintpaw." She hummed glancing him over her shoulder as she brought them deeper and deeper into the territory. "Have you considered why you're in Springclan?" She asked bluntly, "past being born into it, or in your case brought into it. Why do you stay?" The question seemed like a trap and for the most part it was, a set up for Eternalstar to get the answer she was looking for from the young tom.

"Cause I'm here," he replied bluntly, looking up at his leader with narrowed eyes, a soft green that under the shade of his lids became dark, stormy. "Not much else to do, anyways. Why are you here?" he retorted, the tip of his tail twitching back and forth as he raised it to the air, as if a signal in case someone was looking for them.
Eternalstar laughed, delighted by the young tom. "I'm here because I'm sending you away." She countered, soft grin turning sharp, letting the costume she wore around the others slip off her skin. Suddenly her mismatched eyes seemed sharper, her posture surer, something about the very air around her changed. "You see Mintpaw, it's apparent to everyone around you that you hate being in the clan. And that's fine, clan life isn't for everybody. And at first I thought I would just send you away but I have a different sort of proposition for you if you're willing to hear it."
