Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
How did one go about getting the attention of one tom in a clan of many? How did one go unnoticed when one could be considered the most important out of the group? The second question had a simple answer; one simply slipped free of her noose in the darkness of the night. The first question was a little harder to puzzle out, and by the time tired paws had brought her to the mountain clan known for it's cold weather and cold natures she still had no answer to give. She wanted to speak to Leatherstar, but she wanted to speak to him off the record so to say, wanted to keep up appearances. Which meant, while she had considered it, sending someone ahead had not been an option. Announcing herself was also a lost cause. So here she was, on Winterclan's border, a fox-length of two away and simply watching. Mismatched eyes intent as she considered her dilemma. Also thinking over how she wanted to approach this situation and what costume she would start her show off with.

Hearthfire had been sent out to scope the border after a snow storm the previous night. He had been thankful for Arizonaraspberry's company for the snowy hunt Leatherstar insisted they take but now we walked the border scenting for any trespassers that may have wondered in the chaos. When a scent he did not recognize reached his senses he gave a grunt and padded more quickly to the farther side of the border. "What do you want?" he asked. He did not recognize her scent. She was on SpringClan's territory but did not smell of them. A rogue perhaps?
[ Hearthfire is such a bomb name. Going to nominate that for name of the month. ]
"What don't I want." She couldn't help but laugh, the sound cutting in the quiet of the night. The question was so amusing to her, considering the games she had been playing with everyone so far. She knew she was walking a tightrope and this next trick might finally send her crashing to the ground; but that was half the thrill of it after all. Pushing to her paws she padded forward, her one golden eyes glowing and her dark chocolate eyes shaded and dark. She was small and short furred very obviously out of place when compared to the larger and thicker furred forms of the Winterclan cats. "I don't suppose if I asked to speak to Leatherstar you could make that happen?" Her tone was light, almost playful, though her eyes were serious as she proposed her question.

[ Aw thanks the goddess Hecate was my inspiration ^-^ ]
"That really depends on who is asking? Another conquest of his? Some stray wanting to find his nest?" He quipped. He was rather over the brown chieftain's obvious weakness for the softer felines among them. He ran his gaze over her in a dawning curiosity. "I don't know if you could even make the climb." he flicked his massive head up the mountain and the snow banks.
"We won't know until we try though will we. Worst comes to worst I fall off a ledge to my death and then you can let the scavengers make a feast of me. It'll be no fur off you back." She quipped, nonchalant to his challenging words. Eager to simply get her task started, though she wasn't one a time limit, having craftily gifted Cardinalheart and explanation for a potential absence and knowing the deputy would cover for her; as at her whim as he was.

"That stilll doesnt answer my question. Why do you want to see Leatherstar? Why should I risk my neck leading you to our camp?" he narrowed his eyes in suspicion.
"It's as you said, I heard he's an easy prize." She replied slowly, raising a brow, as if Hearthfire was being out of line by continuing to accost her about her intentions. "Why not try my luck after all?" The last part she tagged on in an attempt to further highlight her intent, unsure if the tom would take that as valid or even believe her.

He gave a grunt before swinging his head towards the rising slopes. "This way. Don't fall. The last thing we need here on this retched mountain is foxes or wolves fighting over your dead body." he quickened his pace. "If it's a fight you are looking for I am sure Leatherstar will gladly comply. Though don't think if you take one life he is down for good. You may not make it out of the camp to see a flower again in your lifetime."
"I'm not looking for flowers." Was all she said and one could take it to mean many things, the most obvious being that she was alluding to deeper meanings. Anyone who took a moment to look at Eternalstar might realize she was not a she-cat that went out looking for fights, if they came to her she would finish them, but she often preferred to have it so she never had to get her claws bloody. There was something deeply satisfying about coming out on top without having to resort to any sort of violence.
