Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Nightshadepaw groaned to herself as she padded out of the apprentices' den; it was still twilight, and the she-cat wasn't accustomed to having to wake up so early. Nevertheless, she plastered an ambivalent expression on her face and headed for the camp exit, intending to try and have a peaceful hunting trip - alone, if she had her way.
Pinepaw hadn't found her mentor yet but her pale blue gaze caught Nightshadepaw heading out of camp and she decided to follow her. "Where are you going? Care if I join you?" She asked her denmate cheerfully.
Nightshadepaw stifled a groan as she turned to face her fellow apprentice. Plastering on a smile, she nodded. "I guess," she shrugged, turning away again to pad out of camp. "But I have to warn you, I'm not a great hunting partner. Or friend."
( soz i didn't have this bookmarked and forgot about it lmao )
( it's okay, I don't book mark anything on here lol I used the little icon under my profile that has the three lines and says MY and all my threads pop up lol )
"That's fine!" Pinepaw replied, a little less cheerfully. She got the feeling that Nightshadepaw wasn't entirely the cheerful type. "I'm just bored and I can't seem to find my mentor."
"Can't find them?" Nightshadepaw asked, eyebrows raising slightly. "...Typical. My mentor doesn't show up much around here either," she muttered, casting a dark glance off to the site. "I would guess that I've trained, I duno, maybe three times this moon. How am I expected to become a warrior if my mentor shows up?" She paused for a second, clearing her throat. "But enough about me."
"My mentor is my father's sister so she's my kin, which is kinda cool but she's been busy with her warrior duties recently but I do wish I trained more frequently. I plan to become the best hunter MoonClan has ever seen!" Pinepaw replied. "Sometimes I feel like I have a lot to live up to since I'm depended from two ancient MoonClan leaders and a medicine cat but I don't know." She added with a shrug.
Nightshadepaw blinked a few times, before rolling her eyes. "Did you hear me asking for your whole life story?" she muttered, huffing. "If you're descended from former leaders, you'll be fine. The stars are on your side, after all. My ancestry is significantly less impressive."
Nightshadepaw huffed. "The part furthest from anyone else would be ideal," she muttered. "But if I suppose that if I'm going to be polite and invite you along, why not go a little further down south? Like the direction my life is going in, right now."
Pinepaw snorted in amusement, trying to hold back laughter at Nightshadepaw's sarcastic reply. "Sounds good to me!" she responded, happily trotting along behind her Clanmate.
"Does it?" Nightshadepaw muttered, wondering if Pinepaw would be content with remaining silent for the rest of their trip. She shut her mouth tightly, giving her fellow apprentice a small glance back. "......."
