Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
SERENA ALEXANDRA DEVOY WAS A PARTICULAR SORT OF CHARACTER. She was not the standard BrookClan cat, and some may even call her odd. She wore the name like a battle prize, though, slung over her shoulder proudly. She was happy to be odd, to be strange. She was happy to be known as the friend to the thieves and vagabonds, the travelers and the unwelcomed. If she was to be known for anything, she wanted to be known for her heroism, her desire to save the world. However, this led her to some very... particular circumstances, ones that other's might not find themselves in. This would be one of them.
"Oh, come on, little guy! Just jump!" she called gently, her voice sing-songy. To anyone who wandered by, it might have looked like she had actually lost her mind. After all, she was trying to convince a chihuahua puppy who had stumbled into BrookClan territory and happened to get itself stuck on the wall by the abandoned house, to jump to her. "You're scared, little dude, and I know," she called to the shaking creature, "but just sitting there isn't going to help!"

Kellen Sunny Harlow was also an odd fellow compared to most of his comrades. He was a bright and cheery tom who simply loved to make others feel welcomed and important. Sounds a bit odd for a Brookclan cat, hm? That's because it is. He was also not ashamed of his care-free attitude. In fact, he sometimes used it as a tool to get under his sister's skin. It worked well most days. Kellen also found himself involved with the weirdest and most unfortunate circumstances. What he stumbled on next was definitely at the top of the list of odd scenarios.
He was taking a stroll through the territory when he overheard the voice of Serena. Who was she telling to jump? His ears pricked up curiously and he veered in the direction of her voice. Spotting the chihuahua first, it all suddenly began to click...somehow. "Come on buddy, you got it!" Kellen chimed in from behind her, putting on his most comforting face in the process.
"Didn't expect anyone would join me," she called over to the tom as he approached, a grin on her face. Serena was a cat who ended up in situations like this more often than she'd like to admit, but she really didn't find that much of a problem in it. She was a single cat who could be eaten by a bear and as long as she went out swinging she'd be okay. That was a nice thing about being a cat who had no strings... She could do whatever she wanted, whenever, and the consequences were minimal.
"Especially not a royal." This was slightly a tease, but also not. Didn't Kerrigan have her family on tight leashes? Serena at least expected the Tsar would, mostly because the Tsar seemed to want to have everyone on short leashes. "But hey, maybe we can get him down. Poor thing's shaking like a leaf."
She looked back to the pup, before blinking. "Come on, babe, it's okay," she cooed. She then glanced back to Kellen. "If I jump up there with him and knock him a bit, can you catch him?"

Kellen let out a laugh at her response. It was typical for others to believe that the royal cats never left their nests. It was honestly an understandable thought. However, Kellen was not easily leashed, much to his sister's chagrin. He was a free spirit, sometimes a lazy one, but mostly a wild wind. He was like the ocean and could not be contained. Many wonder where he got it from, and he often wondered the same thing.
Looking up at the little dog, the cream tom nodded. "Yeah, I'll certainly try to!" He responded cheerily, inspecting all the ways that he could somehow catch the pup. "Just be careful. He might be a little skittish."
Serena gave a half smile, before leaping up to the pup. Of course, this made the little thing a bit jumpy, and it began to growl and bark nervously. "Looks like you're right," she called down to him, although she was half-suspecting that he would be. If the situations were reversed, Serena would probably be a little skittish. "Come on, little guy. I don't wanna hurt you," she purred to him, trying to seem as friendly as possible.
She glanced back down to Kellen. "Should I just yeet him on down, or should I try to be a bit more graceful?" she asked after a moment, realizing that she had no plan past this point.
