Kellen ran his tongue down his creamy grey fur, attempting to rid it of knots and tangles before he stepped out of the den. It was proving to be a stubborn task that morning. Not to mention, it was terribly cold that day and there was a constant drizzle. Even still, the handsome tom would not let it get him down. He rose to his paws, gave a large yawn, and began making his way outside. "Hello?" He called, squinting his eyes against the icy rain.

"Hello!" Declan called back his ears folded against the rain and his long white pelt drenched. In his jaws he carried a small mouse. Its pelt still dripping from what little blood it had left to shed. The High Priest blinked through the droplets clinging to his face. "Oh hello Kellen."

"Good morning, High Priest." Kellen greeted with a warm purr, glad to see that there was someone out and about. "This weather is a bit gross, isn't it?" He turned his face up to the sky and laughed as the icy drops fell in his eyes and whiskers.
