Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
So far Chestnutpaw's apprenticeship had been exciting, maybe too exciting, and she felt relieved to laze about in the cool morning air. Her short time in training was more entertaining than being a kit, but still she learned for something more. The she-cat had always yearned to help people in a less violent way, by mending their wounds and ensuring they would be okay. Alas, it seemed it wasn't meant to be, and as she lay there halfheartedly watching those pass by around her, she felt a pang of sadness.
"A thought for a thought, my dear sister?" Came a smooth voice from the apprentices den entrance. Harvestpaw had just woken up, and had been observing his only sister from the shadows of the den for a few minutes. Ever the mother hen, he couldn't stand to see her with such a look of sadness in her eyes.
The sound of a voice disrupted her thoughts, and she was grateful for it. She turned her attention to her sister and gave a small smile. "I'm just thinking about apprenticeship," Chestnutpaw began as she pulled herself to her paws. "I guess it's how I thought it was going to be, but I don't know if it's what I really want." She stopped with a frown, and for a fleeting moment the she-cat felt embarrassed for saying such things out loud.
