Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Houston, we have a problem," the leader called into the nursery, his eyes wide. "Charcoalgoat, are you in there? I think I'm.... uh... I'm going to need some help I think." If Zebrapaw had explained things to him correctly, there was an unknown kitten stuck on one of the rock formations by the half-bridges. Foxstar's eyes had widened into saucers as the apprentice had told the story, nodding along eagerly at any details. The thing was small, but old enough to call out for help. It... looked like a sheep? Foxstar had asked him to elaborate, but Zebrapaw was a pretty terrible messenger. I dunno, its fur, it just kinda looked like a sheep, okay? He ran over the details one last time as he glanced into the den. He sent up a prayer that the tom was in there. "It's an emergency, meet me at the ocean," he called in, not elaborating any further. And then, with a snap, the leader was gone, running full speed towards the water to save the kid.
When he arrived, he was immediately met with the sounds of crying. Moving quickly towards the source of the noise, his gaze settled on the little creature. Huh, he thought. Zebrapaw was right. The kitten did sort of look like a sheep. Weird. It also looked sort of dead. Less weird, and more sad. Reaching the edge of the water, the tom let out a chirp to get the little shaking thing's attention. "Woooooweeee over here, come on, look little fella," Foxstar called, feeling slightly relieved when the kitten lifted up its head. "That's it, atta boy, that's it," he continued, his voice loud. He didn't expect to be interrupted by a loud, scared cry.
"I'M NOT A BOY!"
Foxstar's eyes widened and he gulped. "Right, sorry about that. Atta girl," he meowed, sounding a bit embarrassed. "Anyways, I'm Foxstar, and I've gotta friend coming and we're gonna get you off of there, okay? Just hold on for me, he should be here any second."

Charcoalgoat wasn't used to kit catastrophes and it was even more strange when Foxstar was the one reporting them. He had been in the back of the den separating some herbs given to him for a summer cold that was making its way through the kittens when he heard the leader's urgent voice from the entrance. At first, the dark grey tom let out a sigh of annoyance, fully expecting it to be a kit had gotten into his den and rearranged everything or maybe one that had eaten 4 pieces of prey from the pile. He wasn't expecting an emergency at the ocean. Feeling his stomach drop a bit, the tom turned to say something but Foxstar was already gone. He rose to his paws swiftly and followed as quickly as he could, ignoring the whines of kittens that wanted to play or eat or whatever as he left. "I'll be back. Please, just stay out of trouble and do not go getting into Sunvein's stash of honey again or you will be getting it from the bees yourself." He called back into the den as he turned to leave.
"Now how in the world did this happen?" He meowed sharply, slowing his pace to stand next to the leader right as the kitten hollered. "Friend has arrived but I'm curious how she even got there. Hold on, we'll figure out how to get you back to shore!"
