yumemi was back in dayclan for some reason. "pastelchaos," she said, "does it smell weird in here to you? anyway i'm here to teach you some cool elemental magic, woohoo! god i hate this place."
pastelchaos was also in dayclan. this was not surprising. pastelchaos lived in dayclan. "yumemez!" pastelchaos purred. he could not remember if they had met before. "it always smells weird here. sometimes it'll make yer head go fruitloopy after a while," he explained. Pastelchaos then shrugged. The smell and the slow deterioration of his brain he was experiencing due to long term gas exposure was nothing out of the ordinary. "Magic?" he asked. His eyes lit up. "I always wanted to be a wizard."
"that;s rught, magic!" yumemi said, her corporeal form flickering in and out of existence. "conme with me anjd ill show tyou, pastelchaod!@" her voice sounded like she was trapped behind a malfunctioning radiator in a faraway dimension. "alln trhe wizards in the forest live in the river!" she said, leading him towards the river, "and allt uo need to do to get to them is to jump in! jump into the river, pastelchaos! jump in and breathe!"
"why are you flickering?" he asked. at one point, this would have made his eye twitch. he then looked off into the distance, staring at a camera. "this can't go wrong." he stated defiantly. he then looked back to yams. he the. took off after her and went right in the river with no hesitation. "glug glug" he went. he was choking on water. a blood sacrifice must be necessary to become a wizard, he decided. "glug glug glug !"
yumemi's eyes began to glow red and horns sprouted from her forehead. ""̷͚̆ǰ̵̜̱̹́̕ṷ̵̢̇̽̅s̶̪͙͈̑͘t̷͈̝̿ ̵̙̈̉͒l̶͈̈i̸̡͒͠͝k̴͇̳̰̉͝͠ẹ̴̥̆͝ ̸̮͛t̶̙͓̕h̵̨̲̊̔̑ͅa̷̞̟̿͒̀t̸̙͉̯̀,̸̧͑̑̚"̶̲̺͓͑͐ ̸̢̰̻̂̿̚", she said, and placed a paw behind pastelchaos's head to push him down into the water. for a moment, pastelchaos saw the light. it was pretty. it was rainbow. wasn't it supposed to be white ? "gjdogfusifoejebc" he was becoming more strangled as she held him down. he thought he was going to die before he opened his eyes and saw it. an underwater passage ! he made another ungodly noise before spring boarding off of the side of the water and into the cave. he just before he probably died he got to the other side of the under water cave where there was once again air. it was glittery and also rainbow. "wow! who would have known magic would be so gay!" he meowed after coughing up precisely eight paw fulls of water and one half lawful of sand.
"welcome to catwarts!" yumemi chirped, stepping out from behind a conveniently-placed rock. "i'm glad to see you made it in one piece! OR DID YOU....? ....nah you totally did! alright im gonna teach you some magic now follow me please"
she walked up to a bush that was in a cave for some reason. the bush had red berries that looked either delicious or deadly. "right okay. these berries give you magical powers. eat all of them and you'll see."
In the DayClan camp, the real Yumemi looked inside the medicine den and frowned. No one in there, as per usual. "Why is there never anyone in this freakin' camp, man...?" she muttered. "And right when I have a headache, too..."
This probably should have sent off some warning bells in his mind, but Pastelchaos wasn't known for his situational awareness. He glanced down at himself to check to make sure, before letting out a purr. "Nope, seems fine!" he meowed. "No lost limbs here." He then nodded along before following to the bush. This time, he did have some questions. "What kind of magical powers? Are they going to be useful? I know some cats around here with some real not useful magic tricks, and I'm not sure that I even want powers like that."
