In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
hello friends ! i've been meaning to amke this thread for a while now. as you all may or may not know, adult cats in summerclan are split into four teams ! each team comes with their own lead position, and we are currently looking to fill two spots ! these spots are both garden keeper roles, so please do keep that in mind. in these positions, your cat in world would: - be responsible for patrols / maintaining supplies for the position - help the instructors as necessary by giving the apprentices specific, targeted lessons based on their specialty. - for the time being, the leads will also serve as a sort of council for foxstar, especially while he doesn't have a deputy.
SPOT A: TRAPPER LEAD the mind of summerclan. after the invasion by nightclan, the unique gifts of the garden keepers were put to the test. these cats are by far the most knowledgable of the territory and its offerings, and they are capable of laying traps disguised as just another garden full of summerclan's famous flora. in world, your cat would also: - create and engineer new types of traps - collect herbs and other supplies - help monitor territory / prey / flora health
SPOT B : DENWATCHER LEAD the heart. denwatchers are the clan's final defense, not only in charge of fortifying the dens and camp barriers but also in fighting off invading forces that make it to camp. - help raise the kittens, especially orphans - ensure that the camp stays protected - organize camp guarding shifts

CAT NAME AND BIO: Nymphflurry Named at birth for her small size and beautiful coat of black and patches of orange, Nymphkit grew up to be far from the sweet, dainty cat her mother imagined her to be. From the moment her eyes opened, she was an explorer- she left camp on her own no less than ten times before she was promoted to apprentice. No amount of chastising from her mother or gentle admonishment from the warriors would sway her. While other kits played at fighting and hunting, Nymphkit dissected bugs and attempted to create scaled down models of camp. Her mother breathed a sigh of relief when she chose to become a Garden Keeper, believing a quiet life of tending plants would tame her daughter, but her hopes were soon dashed. Nymphpaw was wild, an exasperation to her mentor and the other adults, slipping out of lessons to go exploring or coming up with 'new' variations of plant-tending that was just as likely to kill the plants as it was to help them. Within a moon, she knew all of Summerclan's territory like the back of her paw- and better than others, too, with her tunnel exploration, lake swimming, and tree climbing. And while Nymphpaw was a handful, even her worn-out mentor had to admit that she was wickedly smart. Through trial and error, she refined her plant-tending tactics and improved several methods the Garden Keepers had been using. Even now, fully grown, Nymphflurry is a ball of energy. Always digging, building, crafting, she finds herself with a constant need to keep busy and experiment. She's still a pretty cat- medium in height and build, with fur that would be soft if she cleaned it more regularly and round green eyes that are always filled with mirth or inspiration. She sleeps and eats too little, getting lost in her ideas and spending extra hours traipsing across the territory. If you can track her down and keep up with her long enough to have a conversation, you'll find that she's a bit lost when it comes to social cues, in turn interrupting or rambling or lapsing into a thoughtful silence that means she isn't listening to what you're saying. It's not out of malice- Nymphflurry enjoys talking to other cats, so much so that she interjects herself into conversations around camp that have nothing to do with her. Rather, the energetic she-cat lives in her own world most of the time, where everyone is fascinated by plants and traps and fish in the river, just like she is.
HOW WOULD YOUR CAT INTERACT WITH FOXSTAR? : she'd like foxstar! she'd make offhand comments about how young he is to be a leader but how neat-o it is that he's giving it a go. HOW WOULD YOUR CAT INTERACT WITH SUNVEINS / CYPRESSPAW : any time she came across them, she would ask them 10,000 questions. medicine is a topic she knows nothing about, and she loves nothing more than learning. i feel like she would generally amuse sunveins and unnerve cypresspaw HOW WOULD YOUR CAT INTERACT WITH THE OTHER LEADS : honestly she'd get along with anyone, even if she may annoy them with her excessive energy and lack of boundaries!
ANY IDEAS YOU MAY HAVE (OPTIONAL):
1. nymphflurry forgets to tell the clan about a new trap she's set up, and several cats end up stuck in a pit she covered with foliage
2. foxstar notices nymphflurry has been missing for several days. turns out she was seeing how long she could live in the trees without anyone noticing
3. nymphflurry insists trap-making classes be mandatory for everyone, but half the cats can't keep up with her bare bones descriptions about how to create the traps.

CAT NAME AND BIO: Charcoalgoat Thick clouds of smokey fur cover his coat from head to toe. It lightens to ash towards his rump and darkens down his underbelly and tail. His eyes are dark amber, almost brown and always seem to express disappointment. Charcoalgoat is known to have a smart mouth and generally grumpy demeanor, which is surprising for the role he was given. As one of the cats responsible for raising kittens in the clan, you would think his personally would not mesh well. However, they always seem to love him. It's like he has a small soft spot for the young and abandoned. Being an orphan himself with no siblings to watch after, Charcoalgoat took it upon himself to be that role model and caretaker for the other orphans as a kit and onward into his apprenticeship. His sharp tongue and distaste for fun is quickly forgiven when they realize they are always safe and cared for by him. He's always been aware of his own flaws and how he uses his personality as a shield when it comes to relationships. If they think you're mean, you can avoid the abandonment. That is how he sees it, at least. What is curious about this thought is that this is not a behavior that he encourages in the kits. He's aware of the damage it causes yet won't fix it in himself.
HOW WOULD YOUR CAT INTERACT WITH FOXSTAR? : I could see them being close in an odd way. Foxy's own positivity would probably reign in Charcoalgoat's grump while simultaneously annoying him. Charcoal would fret over Foxstar's wellbeing, but in his own snarky, not-so-helpful way. They might end up having an amusing relationship lol. HOW WOULD YOUR CAT INTERACT WITH SUNVEINS / CYPRESSPAW : Sunvein's mischief and playfulness would probably annoy him haha, which would be fun to rp I think. Maybe they would end up having the same dynamic as Fox and Char, though? It depends on where that goes! Cypresspaw he would relate to a bit in the fact that they are both gloomy. However, he lacks the kindness and gentleness that the mca seems to have. In a way, he would probably admire the apprentice but worry about him a bit. HOW WOULD YOUR CAT INTERACT WITH THE OTHER LEADS : With Ravenmask, he might have some jealousy of both the lead's lineage and positive personality. It would be something he kept hidden the best he could but he might be slow to warm to the other lead. With Bubblechaser, he would find her almost foolish and have a hard time understanding why she pushes herself so hard for her mother's affection. He would have to learn softness with her and honestly their relationship could be really interesting. ANY IDEAS YOU MAY HAVE (OPTIONAL): I want to have lots of threads with him and the orphaned kits of the clan c': I think it would be so wholesome. A good ol classic badger attack or something might be interesting too! ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW (OPTIONAL): I don't believe so <3
