Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Howlingheart had occupied himself as much as possible over the last moon and a half. It had been about that long since he'd been in the medicine cat's den, teaching his daughter what herbs did what task. It had been a bigger transition than he'd expected coming back into the garden keeper's den. He had expected to return as if nothing had changed, but really, everything had. Rosethorn was gone. His daughter was fully grown and didn't need him anymore. And he was... well, he was there, planning lessons and pretending that he wasn't just absently trying to fill his time.
At least today, he wasn't just trying to fill his time. Fox had given him a task, check in on one of the apprentices to see how he was doing. That was easy enough to do, and it was better than sifting through the flowers he'd collected for the third time that day. The large orange tom blinked twice, before making his way over to the apprentice's den. "Brackenpaw, are you in there?" he called, tail tip twitching. "I've got a job for you if you are!"
