Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The ashy she-cat had made her pact with her sister; they were going to finally rebel against whatever strictness their family held in their code and run away for a little bit, explore the great big world outside of the tunnels however they could, and see what they could find. Mina didn't know where her sister wanted to go–they did joke about stealing that volcano back from SunClan or something–but frankly, her first place to go was the beach, because what could go wrong with a summer vacation, a little sunshine to lead the way, a cool breeze and some seaspray, some nice meadows to match...
She had adopted a new name already. Heavenlybodies, after that silly bedtime story about the stars above. It might not have fit completely, and frankly, she was clearly the age of an apprentice so surely no one would believe she was warrior-aged, but who was she to know? Her eyes were bright with curiosity and mischief when she detected the SummerClan border. Oh, this was definitely SummerClan; what other group of cats smelled like fish so strongly?
She glanced around tentatively, before stepping into the territory of the wooded deeplands. Where was the beach anyway? She wanted to see the endless water; surely there wasn't anything cooler to see than that, and she'd have plenty of stories to tell Aulora later.

Brackenpaw was intent on the squirrel he was tracking through the forest, scenting it as it ran from its stash with a mouthful of nuts, toward what he presumed was its nest. All the better if he could take more than one squirrel back to camp for the elders. Something flashed in the corner of his eye, a pelt that didn’t immediately look familiar and he froze, tasting the air for cat-scent, the squirrel all but forgotten. He didn’t think he’d been seen yet, and he crept behind a trunk to keep watch of the cat’s potential movements. She didn’t look threatening, but he knew that cats weren’t always what they seemed. His pelt prickled and he suddenly felt dozens of ants crawling over his forepaws and angry bites from them. Stupid mousebrain! You’ve been standing in an ant bed! He swore and leaped out from behind the trunk in a panic, dragging his paws along the ground to squash his tiny assailants.

Oh? Mina's eyes widened when she spotted the cat in the distance; like a deer caught in the headlights, the tom simply stared for a moment and she stared back, only for him to suddenly leap out, dancing around like he was tap dancing. What was he doing? Was this just a weird clan custom, to dance around whenever they saw a new stranger? How weird. She couldn't help the giggles that left her mouth as she trotted towards him, only curiosity and amusement written all over her face.
"Hey dance man!" she called out with a giggle, still too far away to see the ants, "please don't tell me that's how you SummerClan cats greet everyone; oh my god, am I insulting your culture?"
