i need to explore calamitykit's personality a bit more other than 'loves flowers'
Every day around his family was a bright one. That was something that anyone would have been able to guess just by looking at the limitless energy of his mother and the oddness of his 'grandpa'. Calamitykit couldn't be happier, but sometimes.... yes, sometimes he wanted a tiny bit of time to himself. This was one such occassion, as the small kit did his best to sneak away from his family (who was currently enjoying a so-called feast, declared by Pumpkinspice) and found a spot to sit next to a puddle near the medicine cat den. Even though he had just run away from his family, he still wore a smile on his face as he glanced back towards the nursery.
For a few moments, Calamitykit just sat, soaking in the slivers of warmth from the sun. This was one of the first times in his life that he had actually been able to enjoy nicer weather, and he fully intended on taking advantage of that. But just sitting here was boring, wasn't it? His yellow eyes slowly swept across camp, seeking out anything that could entertain him. Hopefully it wouldn't be food, his stomach was more than full already.
The long furred no tail apprentice had been taking an inventory of herbs inside the medicine cat den, carefully pawing through the varying plants, berries and others with a soft look on her face. It was oftentimes peaceful work and she took solace knowing that they had everything they needed. She kept a close eye on stock to make sure they always had something for any ailing cat. A soft smile pulled at her lips before she turned towards the exit and made her way out, slowly taking in the atmosphere around her and instantly noticing Calamitykit a foxlength away.
"Greetings," Faepaw meowed with a dip of her head, warmth spreading to her eyes all the while. "Are you restless?" She questioned, her voice sounding smooth and calming, as always.
"Hm?" Calamitykit hadn't actually noticed anyone approach, so Faepaw's sudden appearance had slightly startled him, though the only sign of it was the confusion in his gaze as he looked at her. He was sitting next to her den, so he shouldn't have been so surprised, but he hadn't expected anyone to actually talk to him. Belatedly, he realized that she was in fact talking to him, and that he definitely needed to respond. Scrambling to his feet, the black kit returned her greeting with a mumble, dipping his own head in kind. "Restless? No, I don't think so. I was just enjoying some quiet," he replied, after finally coming to his senses enough to answer.
The apprentice decided to sit down next to the kit, one she didn't know well, and attempt to learn a bit more about them. "I see. I suppose I'm just used to young ones feeling a bit bored in the confines of camp." Faepaw gave a soft chuckle with this and glanced around camp, perhaps proving her point as she looked at tumbling kits tripping up busy apprentices.
