No, I certainly do not need a guard, she had snapped at the young warrior on her way out of the camp. Very, very smart of her. Now, the stubborn silver tabby she-cat stood before a rogue who was easily double her size with a nasty bite to boot. They had already had a few rounds of scuffling and were squaring each other up once again. Her ear throbbed and she could feel the blood trickling through her fur. Despite the medicine cat's young age, she had been trained to be one of Sunclan's most elite since she was only two moons old. The she-cat was just approaching her first year but was already considered a fully trained medicine cat. But that was just it, she was trained mostly in healing. She had personal lessons from Littlestar, but had not quite mastered fighting the way her grandmother had. Breathless, the she-cat was going to make her final stand when suddenly the rogue was overcome with another cat's appearance. Stepping back to assess the situation, she couldn't decide whether to stay and help or if turning tail and fleeing was the wiser choice. She should really turn and flee, even started turning to leave... but only to turn back around and stay. She nipped at the rogues heels while the new cat worked from the front. It wasn't long before the large rogue wailed and fled with Lacelily delivering one last nip to the end of his tail as if to make a point. Turning back around she tilted her head curiously. Nightclan. It was unusual to receive help from them. "Thank you."

She dipped her head respectfully, eyeing him curiously. He seemed to be a bit younger than herself but was still a decent fighter. She was grateful for that as the tussle with the tom left her feeling rather winded and tired. "I am, although the title of medicine cat still feels a bit strange to me." She had previously been a soothsayer but had now begun to forsake the sun god and her ancestors who walked that path. The thought made her stomach squirm uneasily. "My wounds are minor, they will heal quickly. Are you injured?" She asked, giving him a quick once over. He didn't appear to have any injuries which was a relief. Surely Kier would never let them live it down if one of her warriors returned injured after rescuing Sunclan's medicine cat. "I am in your debt," those words carried weight for her and she did not utter them lightly.

She gave him a final once over before sitting down, satisfied with his answer. "Sunclan was gone for a short period of time... apparently that rogue thought it meant easy pickings." She snorted and rolled her eyes, scanning the area. There were no particularly useful herbs here at the moment. Blast. She could really use a marigold and garlic poultice but that would have to wait. "So, tell me what a nightclan apprentice is doing hunting so close to the border anyways?" She asked curiously, raising an eyebrow. She wasn't much older than him but it seemed unusual that he would be so close to sunclan territory without a warrior accompanying him.
